This has been the most frustrating experience. I had a very nice sales person, Katie from the…read moreKennesaw location. The hot tub actually came much quicker than I thought. And it's lovely. I don't know if it works, I haven't been able to use it. They completely forgot about us a couple of times in terms of not scheduling the electrician, once done the electricity was great. Now getting the valet/orientation/initial service has been miserable. They reschedule they cancel without even 24 hours notice and I don't live where my hot tub is. I had to travel here for this appointment. I got a partial message saying they needed to "schedule well actually reschedule" (I quote) the appointment that I am sitting here waiting on. My sales associate has said that this is unusual and does not understand why we cannot get any service. But I am not getting help from the Kennesaw branch at all. I will update this if they indeed do come, if they indeed do help me fix the problems that I have, and if it works or not. So my update is that I got an immediate call this morning about how to address my concerns. All the concerns were addressed. Hunter did an amazing job teaching me everything and fixed one thing. He taught me how to use all my chemicals and explained some things I needed to take care of in the future. So far so good and I'm very excited about getting to use the spa and now knowing how to maintain it. So I would definitely recommend it just know everything ahead of time so you know what you have to do and ask for and make sure things are arranged.

After Georgia Spa bought Spa and Deck Creations in Blairsville GA, it has been nothing but poor…read moreservice, raised prices, and very poor businesses practices. I had a leak in my hot tube, called for service to locate the leak. Charged $260 for the service call. Service man found heater leak and gave me an estimate of $465 to install new heater and it would have to be ordered. When I called to get it ordered, the price went up to over $1000 dollars. I bought the heater on line for $365 and installed it myself. What a ripoff, never do business with them again.

I don't know where to begin. Greg was more than eager to provide stellar service from the start…read more However, once you've become a customer, things seem to go south. As an aside, the first time I met Greg, he appeared to have concerns over bad reviews. I should have known... I have been a customer for almost five years (yearly spend near ($5K-$6K), never questioning an invoice, always agreeing to whatever needs to be serviced, etc. However, should you deviate off a path of requesting something be attended to, such as a skimmer issue, blown bulb, or just a routine issue/concern, Greg tends to have an abrasiveness that I have never encountered in business. As of today, I finally fired Greg. Shame on me for waiting so long. As a business owner, I do not understand how he "appears" to get away with his attitude and have a viable business. At one point, I ask Greg to replace the "flapper" on our skimmer. He directed me to Amazon to replace it myself. If I am paying someone a substantial amount of money to maintain a pool and don't mind being billed, why would you tell a customer that? The final straw today was when he replaced a bulb in the spa last week, which is no longer working. His response was an electrician contact card via text. According to his expert opinion, it was the fixture (an additional $800 on the $340 I had already spent. Not that it could have been a bad (New) bulb. I might buy into that theory should the second bulb blow. He said he was sorry, and I proceeded to terminate his services...all over the fact that a second bulb and little labor could have saved the account. Mind-boggling.

Unlike some other companies Greg was prompt in returning my call about cleaning my filthy pool…read more While he wasn't able to service my pool because of commitments to other current customers, he was very helpful by recommending other company better suited to my needs. Greg was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. In an age of declining customer service and lack of response from other companies he was a most welcome breath of fresh air. I can't comment on his pool cleaning ability but I believe his customer service skills show he knows what he's doing. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pool service company and would use his services myself when I haven't put myself in a rush situation.

Hilltop seems to be a responsible company and the owner takes ownership of their projects…read more Communication and due diligence need improvement. We still need to complete landscaping before we can close our permit. At this point, if you are assessing Hilltop, I think it's safe to consider them. Write down the names and contacts that the people you are dealing with. It gets confusing over time. For example our Project Manager sent us some initial kick off emails and answered a few questions but after that we are dealing with different people to resolve our issues. The Project Manager was not part of our issue resolution. Some of the people we dealt with early on in the process e.g. permitting you will ended up dealing with them again, later part of the process. 8/8 Update: Salt Cell installed. Hilltop sent someone in pretty quick (same day) after we reported the issue. They also sent another trainer few days later per our request to show us the salt cell operations and cleaned out our filter (pretty dirty from the additional pavers work that had to be done). Failed Electrical because fence repair was not done (no one told us that this has to be done before scheduling electrical inspection). Hilltop took responsibility and resent inspector few days after we had fence work done. Passed inspection once the fence was done. 7/29 Update: We were told we are ready for Pool School so we scheduled it. Turn out there was no salt cell installed. This was not communicated to us ahead of time until the Pool Technician is at our house. Frustrating nevertheless. 6/28 Update: Hilltop sent Pavers subcontractor back a couple of times to repair our pavers. Work was completed to our satisfaction. The time loss of course is not recoverable but our priority is quality. ----- Before 6/28 - The design team did a good job working with us meeting our impervious restriction. I am appreciative of that. The installation of our in ground pool started on March 11th. Payments have been made in full but project is still not done as of today, July 8th. Pavers were installed beautifully the first time but we were told that they had to be removed for bonding inspection. Pavers redo has been a nightmare. Unleveled pavers, sharp and broken edges, poor quality overall. We expected better from Hilltop. We reported the issues to the company and were told they will redo pavers and get this right. Came home from vacation, expecting a nice rework. Unfortunately, we were once again disappointed because they were not redone at all - even though we were told it was while we were away. Due diligence and communication have been poor. Today, we once again reported the issues to the owner of the company and project supervisor. I will update review and let you know if the company follow through with a redo and takes care of things like the owner said they would the last time. Here are some pictures after the company said the pavers were redone and "looks" great.
