Office staff are nice and try their best to be helpful, but leadership starts at the top, and the gentleman running the show doesn't give a damn. Can't get him on the phone. After receiving 3 previous pool quotes, we asked Alejandro from Clearwater Pools to come by and give us a quote after seeing our neighbors pool project get kicked off with Clearwater in the beginning of Dec 2020. From the initial site visit, design and quote we were impressed with Alejandro and his team (Miguel, project manager and Alyssa, designer). Clearwater's price was on budget, they had great Google reviews and no other quotes from previous vendors included a 3D design, so we gave them the go ahead to start as my wife and I really liked what they had envisioned. Our dig started on Feb 2nd, 2020 and from the beginning things started off very well, but we quickly deteriorated and began to see signs our neighbors warned us about... lack of communication, promptness and follow through. During the design process we were told by Miguel that they do not skip around on jobs and they are there until they finish. Unfortunately, I can tell you this company loves to skip around and only get to things when they feel like it. How do I know this? Well, I am currently in week 9 of my pool project with Clearwater with no end in sight... and while I would love to write a better review and show you beautiful, completed pictures of my pool as other reviewers have done below, I haven't seen a single person onsite here in a week and only about 8 actual man hours have been completed over the past 2 weeks. While my pool build is functional, there is still plenty of work to be completed. Amanda in their office blames in on "scheduling". Because of this, and the damage caused to my property during the build I have purposely withheld my final payment as its deemed "Completion" in their contract. I will say workmanship and construction is solid with Clearwater, I have no issues there.. but their lack of communication and promptness prevents this company from being a great company and someone I would recommend. In fact, I have had over 2 dozen people ask me over the past month, "who's doing your pool", and unfortunately have not been able to recommend Clearwater to any one of them. I would say if you are super patient person and don't mind waiting weeks on end for simple things to be completed, this is the company for you. However, if you prefer a company that is prompt and provides timely updates on workmanship I am sure there are better options out there. read more

I had an appointment for a quote to do some pool renovations scheduled for today at 10am. I was even called by Alejandro last night to confirm the time. When no one had shown up by 10:30, I called their office and the person I spoke to seemed to have no idea about my appointment. She told me she would find out and call me back. I waited until 11:00 and when I hadn't heard back, I called again. She told me she couldn't reach Alejandro but had sent him a text. It is now almost 2pm and no response from anyone at Clear Water Pools. If this is how they treat potential new customers, I'm not sure I want to hire them to do any work on my pool... read more

Alejandro has been fantastic to work with. He showed up for our estimate right on time and had lots of great ideas. Very knowledgeable and designed both a beautiful and functional pool. He provided us a 3D computer drawing within a week of visiting our home and the quote was hands down the best we received. I loved that he didn't nickel and dime us for a few extras that the other pool companies had up charges for on their estimates. He started the pool around May 6th and we were swimming by June 15th. Incredibly fast and this was even during a very rainy time period we were having. We even had to go through a variance and Alejandro provided us with an architectural drawing to help us with our hearing. The man really went all out for us to ensure we had an amazing experience. He knew this was our dream and he treated the job as if It were his own dream. It was really impressive. Alejandro was incredibly responsive and always answered my texts and returned my calls. I am a project manager so I am all about control and had tons of questions, like everyday (literally), and Alejandro was always very patient and willing to go to any length to go above and beyond our expectations. If you are looking for a professional pool builder with incredible service at an AMAZING price, you really don't have to look any further. Best pool company I have come across. Alex is very knowledgeable in designing and building pools from ground up. His crew was on time everyday and worked very hard, clean and organized. I am very pleased with the Alex and his crew. I have also hired Alex to maintain my pool with his cleaning service which has been hands down the best decision. The cleaning crew is very trustworthy and thorough. They take care of my pool while I am out of town. I have had pools built in the past. Many contractors sub hire the crew and rip people off. Alejandro is the best! He rescued us when our pool company went belly up, mid-construction. He was timely, attentive, and knew exactly what needed to be done. We were in a very vulnerable position and had already lost a lot of money, but Alejandro was kind and very reasonable. He started work right away and always communicated what he was doing and how much it would cost. He stayed on budget and the work was outstanding. We had given up all hope, but he created the pool of our dreams and we were able to swim this past summer (we never imagined that happening!) His employees are kind, honest, hard workers and Alejandro was on site almost every day to make sure things were done properly. I had Clear Water Pools, LLC located in Cumming GA servicing my pool most of last yr. I had the pool turned into a salt water pool middle of the summer last year. Last week Alejandro Cortez came to my residence to open the pool and clean it - He then had to tell me that one of his employees told him that he broke my Salt Cell RJ30 that is required to make the pump turn water into salt for the pool. He said he would not pay for it so I had to purchase another one costing me $375.00. I would NOT ever recommend this company to service anything remotely resembling a pool. Clear water pools built our pool 3 years ago . Alejandro did exactly what he said he would do and more. Our pool was complete and we were swimming in it in 4 weeks to the day he started and we have a big pool . 18x36 11 ft deep . We had a issue last winter with a pipe breaking under the patio for the main drains Alejandro himself and another employee came out cut the concrete dug and repaired the pipe put the cement back also paid to have our pool filed . He also cam back in the spring Re placed the cool deck and painted the complete patio and never charged me 1 red cent . He also had a leak detection company out to search for the leak so we had to heat the pool to 85 degrees Alejandro reimburse me for every penny it cost me . I have read the bad reviews that the customer is trashing this company with and I can tell you there is more to the story Alejandro is a man of his word and takes a lot of pride in what he puts his name on . read more

Clearwater pools were good and professional until pool was completed but as soon as the last payment was made, I have to almost beg them to repair the mistakes they have made. Alejandro rarely picks up calls and prefers me contacting his office but the office staff tells me that she is waiting for Alejandro to get back on when he will be able to get someone to fix the issue. They did not even give me some spare tiles so I can get it repaired by someone else as clearwater pool doesnot have time for repairing their own mistakes. I have been waiting for months now and the repairs have not been done yet. Ours is a brand new pool that was completed in Dec'19 but due to cold weather I could only find out issues with their work around March/April. In a big dilemma now on how to get this done now as I don't have matching tiles and Alejandro doesnot return calls. Never experienced such bad customer service ever. read more

Alejandro and Clear Water Pools finished our pool after our original pool contractor shut down after 10 months of construction,taking our money and leaving us with a huge hole in our backyard. We were referred to Clear Water and met with Alejandro who was gracious enough to take on our project. He was upfront and honest! We had a lot of work that was left unfinished and Alejandro's crews had us swimming in 2 weeks. They worked every day that weather permitted and we received daily updates. All phone calls that weren't answered were promptly returned. We had tons of questions afterwards and he was always available to answer them, even coming to the house on more than one occasion to explain how the pool equipment operated (we are 1st time pool people). Clear Water is also servicing our pool weekly and they are doing a great job. We could not be happier and only sad that we didn't find them first. Very poor customer service. A part was ordered for my pool and notwithstanding multiple calls and email messages to the company and conversations with the office and the owner the part was not installed until 3-weeks later. Company tried to deny any follow up was made and the office representative hung up the phone. I'd never recommend this company to anyone. We timely paid all of our bills and notwithstanding our good faith, this company treated us like we did not exist. read more
