I have an old 1999 Hot Spring Grandee that had sprung some leaks in the plumbing. I called George…read moreand he explained that due to the proprietary nature of Hot Springs tubs, and the fact they are full foam, he doesn't work on that brand. He said great things about it, and even though he doesn't work with them, he was very kind and helpful and gave me a lot of great trustworthy advice. I really appreciate him taking the time to share with me his expertise and advice even when there was nothing in it for him.

I had placed a call into North Point hot tub repair for service and the person that got back to me…read morewas George. Telling George my location it's unfortunate that I was out of his working area but my review of his company is more on the lines of what George did for me. After shortly explaining my problem to George he was kind enough to say text me over photos and I'll take a look at them and if I see something is wrong I will give you advice. Now he was under no obligation to do that whatsoever but it seems like that's the kind of guy George is. After reviewing my photos he continued to text back and forth with me trying to fix my problem. He even was kind enough to email me information on cleaning and info on what the ozonator was intended for and how it works. Now I wish George was in my working area because this is a man with integrity and kindness. This is the type of person I would love to do business with because you know you're going to get an honest evaluation of your hot tub. Even though we were unable to come to a fix for my hot tub George did all he could for me, a stranger, a person who just reached out to him for service, that he could have just told me I'm not in his working area and hung up. This is why I am writing this review because of the kindness this man showed toward me and I have a feeling this is the kind of kindness George shows everyone. Thank You Sir. If the world was filled with more people like George it might be a happier place to live...

He did not do anything no chlorine no tablets no brushing no vacuuming then he told me I can cancel the service if I want to. I am not sure that anyone wants to listen to someone act like they are unhinged in reference to customer service, but they are lacking severely in all departments.

After 4 weeks the pool was still green and the neighbors were complaining. Week 5 he came out and got the pool clear again. A week later the pool was green. I was told we should have been doing service twice a week. then i was told there is probably something wrong with the pump. It should not take 5 weeks to figure out what is wrong with the pool. That is when I told him we would find someone else to fix the situation. So they immediately invoiced me for 5 service calls and a chemical clean. I was asked if I was going to pay and I said I would have to run it by the board at our next meeting. At which point everything went south when some lady calls me yelling at me and telling me how horrible I am and how she hates HOAs and would not even let me speak. I never said I would not pay the bill. what I expected was a small business to try to make thing right and at least listen to their customers. I finally had to hang up on this person because she was so irrational and demeaning. I highly recommend you stay clear of this business,

Mike is incredibly good. I had called a big company to come out and look at my system but decided…read moreI wanted to find a locally owned business. I kept having my water tested and it seems to be fine but my pool was still green. I got this business name from Home Advisor. He came out, told me my salt cell needed to be replaced and my DE filter needed to be cleaned. He cleaned my DE filter, which was a mess. Previous pool services had been telling me wrong on how to take care of a DE filter and it had way too much DE powder because of what I had been told. The best thing he did was tell me to order my salt cell online, saving me money, guided me on what to look for and showed me how to replace it myself. I asked about my vinyl liner and pool heaters. He advised me on replacing my vinyl liner and how much it should cost, way lower than what I had been quoted by other services. He told me having a pool heater really wasn't that cost effective and most people didn't turn them on because of the cost of the natural gas. If you don't want to be ripped off, overcharged and have someone fix your pool system instead of running around trying to replace things all the time, call Mike. I will now not call anyone else.

I called them the following week and they rescheduled saying it was a scheduling error. No worries, they do send some folks to fix my hot tub a couple days later. But, instead of replacing the broken part, they decided to try to caulk it instead. 10 minutes later, they're on their way. I followed their instructions and kept the hot tub off 2 days to allow time for the caulk to dry. However, after 2 days, the heater was leaking the same amount of water as before. It wasn't a bad leak and I totally understand why they tried caulk but at least give me a credit if the jerry-rig doesn't work. $135 / hour is a lot of money for effectively nothing.
