(Summer Moon Latte only Iced) I like to get mine with full moon milk, but you can order with a 1/4, 3/4, or 1/2 moon milk depending on how creamy you like it. I haven't had summer moon coffee in years and the last time I did they didn't have milk alternative options for their moon milk...but now they do! I normally have to substitute the milk, so this process is the best for me. You can look through the menu and the have the details about the drinks they offer and add ons or substitutes. This time around we got the iced blue moon latte and regular iced cafe latte with coconut milk as a substitute. It's always delicious and refreshing. They have a pick-up window, you walk up and give your name. They do a great job with getting your order out quick but done right and right temperature. Normally good, but off today. Let's face it, it's not cheap. So, I'm expecting polite service and quality product. The lids, especially on the 20 oz iced coffees don't really fit. So, you're going to have a bunch of drips in your car. Next the iced drinks weren't cold. So the ice melted almost immediately and then your drinking a lukewarm coffee that you paid $5.50 + tax + tip. They weren't overly busy but really weren't happy about asking for a puppuccino. I love this pop-up spot. It's run out of a brand new food trailer style setup in a church parking lot. Plenty of parking and even a shaded gazebo to enjoy your drink. I had been wanting to try Summer Moon for a while but many reasons prevented me but I feel like the location was one of the reasons it took me a while to go. I went in blindly before deciding to get the Iced Blue Moon Latte and swapped the milk for Almond. It had hints of lavender in it which made it GREAT. My daughter got the chocolate croissant because she has a love of everything chocolate and croissant. I liked how also it was in a trailer but also had a leech stand in the trailer as well. The barista was really helpful considering I left my card in and casually walked away without a care in the world to snap pictures. They have outdoor seating as well as a gazebo. It was a pretty chill evening though and was not busy. I'm assuming because it was a Monday night. read more

Oh. My. Gosh. The moon milk is everything I was hoping for and more. Upon reading dozens of reviews for this place I was nervous the moon milk would be too sweet. However, upon the first sip of the 007 - double shot of espresso shaken with 2oz of moon milk and poured over ice - I realized moon milk and I were a match made in coffee heaven. My go to at coffee shops is an iced double espresso with half sweet flavor and a splash of cream, the moon milk in the 2oz quantity provided the creaminess, subtle sweet flavor, and strong coffee taste I was looking for. The venue is an adorable coffee truck you walk into and order, with glass sliding panels separating the staff from customers. The staff were helpful and the drinks came out fast. This Morning I wanted a coffee so I decided to stop at Summer Moon, now other than today I think I have had it one other time couple of years ago and I think someone order for me. And honestly i void it because I get very confused on how to order here but I told my self ok I need to learn and need to visit more often. I know a lot of people LOVE LOVE their coffee! So I stop at the trailer on Menchaca and there was a few people in front of me but it moved pretty quickly which was nice, I told Josh, ( by the way he was very nice and took the time to make recommendations) since I told him I'm not a usual customer and don't really know how to order he took the time to talk to me and give me recommendations! Thank you Josh!! So I ended up getting a 16oz Iced Autumn Moon Latte and OMG!!! Sooo. GOOD! It's sweet and smooth for my personal like I would probably ask for another shot of espresso just because I really like strong bold coffee. There is seating outside and they have a little gazebo as well. I definitely enjoyed my coffee and the place the wait was not bad either, there is a bit of I'm sure because of the sweetness but I just stayed away since I am scared of them lol.. but I definitely enjoyed and I will be back soon!! read more

I feel quite torn about reviewing Summer Moon and have already waited too long to do so. Their coffee tastes really good - smooth, just the right amount of strength and flavor. Their prices seemed a bit steep to us, when we first moved to Austin. We then started noticing us feeling that way about most coffeeshops in ATX. Coming from another big coffee-drinking city - Chicago - it was a bit of an adjustment. And yet, we sneakily kept coming back here and justifying it. Maybe we have now calibrated and expect to pay around $6 a latte, so finally can write the review SMC deserves. This location has the added benefit of serving drinks out of a cool food truck on Manchaca! read more

Love this whole concept, and love the decor/feel of the place. Spotted this place on the side of the road while grabbing breakfast. The menu is a little different because the names of the drinks. (Ex. Full moon, half moon, etc) but they were very friendly and didn't mind explaining when we asked them. Basically its just how sweet it is, a full moon is very sweet and a half not as much and is made with half skim milk. I ordered a full moon and my boy friend a cafe latte. He was right the full moon was very sweet but also very tasty and creamy! The latte was good, not bitter. They have a selection of hot and cold beverages as well as some food items. There was a tiny sitting area in the converted trailer with wood interior and stools. There are also handmade mugs that are very cute as well as coffee beans for purchase. read more

I come here early in the mornings on the weekdays and sometimes it can be a doozy if you are in a rush and want a quick coffee pick up. Depending on the time of the morning you may have a little wait. I see they take orders online in advance so if you are in a hurry you may want to consider ordering ahead (there is a separate pick up area for you where you don't have to wait in line). Parking is easy but if you need to go south on Manchaca just know there are 2 driveways in the church next door of Sumemrmoon that you can use (if church or services is not in session). read more

If you like sweet coffee drinks, Summer Moon is your place!!! This trailer is a new addition to their brick and mortar on South 1st. Really great menu items and I love that they give you options. Summer moon drinks are HOT, Winter Moon are COLD. Since their Moon milk is a VERY sweet, creamy, delicious concoction, you have the option of ordering it full, half, or quarter. I love a sweet drink but even the half had me at the height of my sugar intake!! Next time I'll do a quarter winter Moon. I live South but I just wish this place was a bit closer. Feed the addiction. Side notes: There are tables out on the grass and a cute little gazebo. Otherwise, it's just a trailer in a parking lot. Can't say enough about Summer Moon Coffee! My partner and I come here about once a week and we are hooked on their Half Moon Lattes. Discovered their "Moon Milk" ... guh delicious! Just adds a little bit of sweetness. I love that you are able to adjust the amount that goes into your drink. Overall, coffee/espresso is solid, service is friendly and efficient.
