I will say the restaurant itself is very clean and the staff are super nice, but when I go to a restaurant I focus most on their food. The biggest issue I had is that I could tell the sashimi we ordered was previously frozen. And if it wasn't, it definitely tasted like it was. The fish itself had an extremely chewy and tough texture, and the only one that tasted relatively fresh was the salmon. The rolls I will say are a 3/5 stars. If you do decide to come here I would only stick to the rolls. The one I would say I liked the most was the Princess Roll and it was decently priced. The one I liked the least for taste and price was the lobster roll... as you can see the shell is there for presentation and there was a very small amount of the actual lobster on top. I would also like to preface saying that I am used to very good quality sushi and eat omakase on a regular basis. I went to this place with some friends just this week. One of my friends got the tonkatsu ramen, and she got horrible food poisoning. She vomited at least 8 times. She couldn't even hold down water! I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with Pork Belly and it was delicious. They also have various choices of ramen on the menu. I also ordered a 6-piece Spicy Tuna roll, which was also very tasty. You can order at your table via QR code or with the waitstaff. I ordered via QR code and my food was served fast. Friendly waitstaff as well. If you're hankering for a traditional roll like Dragon, Spider, Unagi, etc. they have that too as well as some specialty rolls. Glad that Sumi Sushi opened here as the closest Japanese restaurant is in Japantown which is a 20-minute walk from City Hall.
