Two of us came here for lunch on Friday around 11:50am. Parking in the strip mall was easy. We got seated right away. There're about 5 other tables and a couple of takeouts. They brought us iced water in disposable cups as we sat down. There was a paper menu at the table and a QR code. I scanned the QR code, ordered and paid online. However, our server came by informing us they didn't receive our order, and that the system didn't really work, and we should have given a refund. I checked my banking app, and indeed I got a refund. I wondered why they kept the QR code at each table if they knew it wouldn't work. Anyway, our server took our order and brought us complimentary miso soup, which was nice and piping hot. Our sushi rolls came out pretty quickly. All 3 of them were decent, each had a different sauce. Ingredients seemed fresh. Nothing fancy, rice was a little mushy, but still solid rolls, especially at $12.99 each. My favorite was the Mango Tuna Roll. I liked the sweet mango, and the mango sauce, which was something different from what we would usually get. The crispy onion on the Warriors Roll was a nice touch. The Caterpillar Roll was pretty standard. We were also interested in the Hot Mama Roll, which had soft shell crab, but they're out. An amazing find! My partner and I just moved to Campbell and have already been here twice! Last night we went in around 8 pm and were the only ones there for a little. They had some other to go orders and other people came to dine in while we were there. Service was amazing. They said drinks were on the house (shared sakes and two Sapporo cans) and we ordered one miso and gave us another for free. Rolls came out quick and were very fresh. Tempura had just been fried. Hubby found this place as a new hotspot. It's been open for 3 months. The prices were very reasonable. Especially the baked rolls. The nigiri pieces were fresh and tasty. Unfortunately the baked rolls were not as we expected. The baked salmon and baked scallop rolls could have had more sauce on it. The highlight was that our son's sprite was free and so was my hubby's Sapporo. Too bad they didn't have Sake or Wine which would have made it a perfect night. Service was very quick. My husband found this spot on Yelp and saw that they seemed new so we wanted to check it out and support a local business and we are so glad we did. We placed an online order through their website. The prices for their rolls are so reasonable compared to other Bay Area sushi restaurants!! I chose the EE Roll and the baked scallop roll. The quality of the sushi tasted very fresh. I was having a rough morning but the food really picked up my spirits! The sauces were really well balanced, the crispy tempura bits were crispy without being oily. And both rolls were very filling. Keep in mind that they're not on DoorDash Dashpass so you will have to pay a lot of extra fees, but it would be a lot cheaper if you dine in person. The rolls are big and fish are fresh. I really liked the special hand roll with Uni Toro & it was only $12! My favorite roll is the mango tuna roll. It's a must every time. I will continue to support this business and hopefully dine in person someday. Hopefully they will partner with DoorDash Dashpass soon. I went today since it was open during the 2-5 pm window, when Japanese restaurants are typically closed. 5 pm The place is new and pretty low-effort aesthetically, but that's not too bad. It was clean and smelled like cleaner. You order and pay via QR code, and the menu is pretty limited, could be cause they just opened. Now the food, we ordered some nigiri and a few rolls. This place was worse than Chinese buffet sushi. Since it was their grand opening, they were kind enough to offer free drinks and some appetizers, which was a nice touch, along with their friendly staff. As for the rolls, the rice was sooooo mushy. I don't even think it was sushi rice, just wet jasmine rice. The hamachi and salmon nigiri were okay, but had a slight old-fridge taste to them. I hate wasting food, but this was one of the few times I stood up after three pieces and left to grab IB Cheesesteaks instead (very good, by the way). We tried EE on Sunday and were delighted by the yummy sushi! IT was fresh, great taste and nice presentation. We ordered the Honey walnut roll, spicy tuna and the red dragon. My favorite was the honey walnut and red dragon but all three were delicious. They gave us Complimentary soda which was a nice touch. Only a few improvements: First, the smell of cleaning supplies was VERY strong. Nice to know it's sanitary but was hit hard when we walked in. Second, the front door was left open so some flies coming and going. Easy fix close the door. Third, heat the edamame. It was good but cold and no salt. I went into this place looking for subs a licious and found this place. I liked the old sub house but I also like good sushi. I have been to every place in this area. So I know the prices of sashimi and it's very pricy. Especially for good sashimi. I first went in not expecting much, but the staff was really nice. In fact extremely nice. I know it's a new place and I figured they were trying to impress their new customers. Well of course they were, but every time I go in, they're always so nice. But that's not the good part. Their prices are phenomenal. All of the rolls I enjoy are excellent and normally expensive. Their prices are half of what a good sushi restaurant is and the quality is there. How you can tell is the sashimi. Thick pieces of 10 cost less than half of every other place. Excellent quality, great staff and really crazy low prices. At some point I would expect prices to raise. I would think they have to. But even if they started to cost the same as everywhere else, I'd still go in because the staff is the way they are. I do like another sushi place in Los gatos. I've been going there for years. The owners know me by name and are also wonderful people. But I can have 2 sushi places that know me. Yes EE sushi is that good and damn.
