    a menu on a table

Absolutely worth every visit, I've worked besides this restaurant for a year, and never had any issues, my food is perfected, and when I walk in I always get a smile and a hello, this may be a small business, but the passion and love for the craft, is impossible too miss, I love shish, and I love fattoush, they make it amazing and addictive, worth every dime,

I have driven by this restaurant several times but have never stopped. This time I popped on the website and noticed the great value they had in their combo meals. I ordered the chicken kebab combo. It came with choice of soup or salad, I went with the crushed lentil. Five pieces of chicken grilled perfectly. The combo also included rice, hummus and garlic sauce along with a pita bread. As I said before, excellent value at $7 and change for the meal. All food tasted good and fresh. What pushed me to rate it five stars was the customer service. The young man who cooked and brought out my food was very pleasant and even made sure I had flatware and a menu for further ordering. Meals like this at competitors don't exist for combos. Buying the items piece by piece would result in a tab in excess of $20. I would recommend.

I am giving them 3 only because of what I have tired, pizza wings and hummous are worth coming back to. I spent $55 and tried philly sub, soup, wings, pizza, and Hummous. The service was slow, subs were a big disappointment, there Gyro meat in PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SUB, someone teach them or they should google philly sub. Soup is made for a sick person, no seasoning or salt, on a happy note pizza and wings were amazing!! Thats what won me over, but I wouldn't give them 3 star.

I always get the chicken shawarma entree with hummus. One of the best shawarmas in metro Detroit. Very flavorful.

I got a falafel sandwich with hummus and tabbouli (even though it's not on the menu, they let me make that substitution w/o extra charge).

The ingredients were fresh ... melted smoked Gouda, (shredded) lettuce, tomato and pickled peppers. Not a fan of shredded lettuce. I prefer a couple of leaves of chilled crisp lettuce. The tomato was a winter tomato and did not add any acidity. The bun was properly toasted a beautiful golden brown. The onion rings ... sigh. Tasty and not a grease farm ... and while fried perfectly, they arrived mostly a giant lump of stuck together. They were served hot and on a separate plate a few minutes after the burger arrived. I decided to splurge and try a peanut butter shake. Terrific ice cream ... no HFCS aftertaste. Great peanut butter flavor. Two disappointments: - Value. $8 for the size ... insufficient value. - I like my milkshakes to be blended a bit coarse; not blended textureless, soft-serve smooth. You've been warned. My wife ordered the bison burger, well done. It was served precisely as ordered. She was happy. The portion of sweet potato fries was large, properly fried and served hot. Ambiance ... disturbed by one VERY LOUD woman engaged in a running dialog with the bartender. They seemed to know each other. Otherwise; it is clean, organized and has a good neighborhood bar vibe. Will I return? Yes.

They have some great drinks here other than cider though too. We started with the mac and cheese balls. Small portion of six and they were bland unless you dunked it into the sauce. Where was the pepperjack? Not bad but not what we were expecting. Dinner itself was fabulous. My husband loved his shrimp tacos. Generous with both protein and toppings. I went with the Ahi tuna California bowl. Huge bowl full of rice, crisp fresh veggies, creamy avocado and a solid portion of perfectly seared tuna. I loved both the sauces and mixing and matching each bite. The halved cherry tomatoes, shedded carrot and crunchy cucumbers really provided that textural contrast and colorful appeal. Yum. Service was fast, accurate and friendly. Atmosphere was very sports bar still but airier and brighter somehow. Plenty of TVs with the Masters on though. We took a prime rib dip sandwich to my dad and a cobb salad to my mom and they were equally delighted. My husbands already thinking about which app we'll try next time. We will be back soon.

I tried finding something similar to the Chicago Giardiniera sold at the grocery store and nothing could come close to the spiciness and flavor of Potbelly hot peppers. This location usually has hot peppers available at the front counter. I've also been able to order them at the drive-thru. The sandwiches are good. I like the hot peppers on my Potbelly sandwich, but sometimes there aren't enough peppers and the oil from the peppers soak through the wrapping. Now I use the hot peppers at home on homemade salad, sandwiches, or alone as a snack.

But now we have plenty of options in this particular market, and I am confident when I say that Potbelly is my favorite franchise for sandwiches. It's not even just their sandwiches, but also their soups, salads, shakes and decor (it doesn't hurt that they carry my favorite potato chip brand, Zapp's). This particular location is the closest to my home, and I was itching to satisfy my cravings. We ordered the Turkey Avo and Steakhouse Beef sandwiches with a side of Broccoli Cheddar and Chicken Pot Pie soups. I was very pleased with the service here as well and it helped that I came at a time that wasn't as busy as usual. Overall we were satisfied with our meal, but I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the presentation of the sandwiches. I understand that taking food to go runs the risk of them being messy, but that was never really a problem for me with Potbelly as they were always good with wrapping them. I was annoyed mostly by how thick the avocado was in my sandwich because it made all the other ingredients slip and slide so it didn't hold well. Flavor was there, just needed a little more care. Hopefully this was the exception and not the norm here.

This reminds me of when Starbucks went full custom drink order crazy, opened drive through, and order ahead all at once. It's the exact same logistics bottleneck at CAVA. You're waiting for at least 20 to 30 minutes after your expected pickup time in either the drive through or in-store pickup while the walk through line is moving smoothly. The issue is that the small station creates a large bottleneck serving both the drive through and order ahead pickup at once. On to the food. It's delicious! Great ingredients, flavor, and spice. I guess the other patrons are like me and go wishing Cava has what they desire. I read several reviews on other platforms of patrons stating that either their food was mediocre or the restaurant was out of ingredients they ordered. Same as for me on this day. I specifically visited for the garlic chicken bowl, they were out of the garlic and the chicken. I chose substitute items but mentioned to the cashier that my meal was not what I came there for due to the substitutes. As I took out my wallet to pay, she informed me that I could have the bowl for free which was appreciated. Although it wasn't what I wanted to eat, it wasn't bad. The food was fresh, but the portions seems skimpy. If I visit again I will make sure that all of the ingredients that I desire are available before ordering.
