Nice ambiance

This place is a bit pricey, but the food tastes fantastic. It was clean, with plenty of seating, and the excellent staff. If you like tasty, spicy food, this is the place for you! Spicy levels (1-5).

We came here for something "different" than we normally choose. For 6pm on a Friday we got seated right away. It's a cute "fancy" environment inside, but everyone was dressed casually. I got a curry, at a medium heat-which was perfect. I do wish the curry had some veggies in it. It was unfortunately just chicken and broth with a side of rice. Other than that, the flavor was AMAZING. My fiancé got a pad tai noodle type dish which was VERY good. I loved the noodles and the veggies. He also go "medium" but his was SUPER spicy. We had to share both to take the heat down. Other than the heat, the flavor was amazing. The crab Rangoon appetizers were a little disappointing, I will say. I was expecting large cream-cheese-stuffed-dough, but instead got these teny tiny little rolls. They tasted really good, but I was disappointed with the size of them. Overall, great and clean place for some local Thai food!

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Perfect for a date Night or special occasion. Food was great z we ordered the pad Thai, flavors were excellent and a large portion that could feed 2. The noodles are uncharacteristically thin, almost like vermicelli. The chicken satay appetizer was also super, served with a delicious peanut sauce and a sweet vinegar cucumber sauce. The thai coffee is made with a sweetened condensed milk and is good over ice or hot. We'll be back.

Moo Ping with Nam Jim Jaew sauce

Had an amazing experience for my Birthday dinner. I have been wanting to dine in to this beautiful modern style restaurant. We showed up and was seated pretty quickly even with two larger party's being there. We started off with the Moo Ping pork skewers with their delicious Nam Jim Jaew sauce. Which came out amazing so much flavor we held on to the sauce for later items to try it with. I tried something new and got the Kao Soy with beef which was so tender and definitely worth it. My partner had got the Paht Kaprow with ground beef and added a fried egg on the side. They enjoyed it as they are newer to trying different Thai dishes. For dessert we got the Fried Banana with the honey sesame dipping sauce Togo. Supper good with a nice fried batter on them and not too sweet of a dessert. Over all had a great time we will definitely be coming back.

We had a reservation for 8 on a Thursday and were seated promptly. The place is nice, clean and the staff friendly. The appetizers were good, although the appetizers left a little something to be desired. We had the edamame (needed salt) and the crab Rangoon rolls were tiny. Four people ordered Thai tea and the first three that came out were great, the fourth was not mixed correctly and had way to much "tea" so it was very bitter. Overall though this is one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in the area, the staff is amazing, the prices great, portions good and quality ingredients and flavors.

Stopped in for some appetizers with friends this afternoon. Only updating food portion of review. All else stays the same as my prior review. Had the fresh spring rolls and the shu mai. (1) Fresh spring rolls are not very good. Very hard to eat with giant pieces of lettuce sticking out the top and flavors were mediocre. (2) Shu mai was just "so so" and was lacking.

Cream cheese, spring rolls

I had me a quick little lunch here and it was so good! The staff were very kind and the place looks so much bigger inside than I had expected had a very fancy feel to it.

Place - clean Service - good Food - average to below average Cost - too expensive Check the receipt and see the cost for lunch. The spring roll was small, potstickers overcooked. No kids meal. Look for a better Thai restaurant, there are plenty around.

This place is such a cute spot for all occasions especially date night. We ordered Thai tea, green tea , papaya salad and green curry. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. Our server was sweet and friendly and wasn't overly checking on us which I like. Order one of the Thai teas or green Thai teas your taste buds will love you!

Thai Tea & That Iced Green Tea

Impressed from the first visit here. I came with the family for a celebration and left with a new favorite place. Did I mention how delicious the Thai Iced Green Tea was? My go-to drink was the Thai Tea and now since my cousin ordered a Thai Iced Green Tea, it's like I experienced finding a new favorite drink. Their service is outstanding and attentive. I appreciate the server for being very nice. The vibe of the restaurant is great!

I wanted some sticky rice. I ordered two side orders. It took more than 5 min for them to get it to me. When I got it, it was small. $4 a piece for this def not worth it. Other places you can get a whole small container for the same price

This Tai restaurant is a hidden gem in Universal City. The food and service is amazing. We walked in at 8 pm and the restaurant and bathroom were sparkling clean. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. I have not experienced this kind of welcoming when you walk into a restaurant that is near closing time. The owner is very outgoing and fun to talk to. I ordered the green curry in mild, I am glad I did because it had a kick to it. The vegetables and mushrooms were fresh and cooked to perfection. I added the combination: chicken, beef and shrimp for a little extra charge. My husband had the pad tai noodle. His was very tasty as well. We will definitely be back. I can't wait for you to try the food and share your experience.

The first time I heard of @sukhumvit77satx is from my friend @mamahofmann64. One of her favorite servers now works there. We thought to check it out for Saturday dinner. Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby and I both had Iced Tea. They don't have their liquor license and Live Oak doesn't allow BYOB. We started with the Thai Rice Soup. We had the Crab Fried Rice, Red Curry with shrimp (medium heat), and Pad Thai with chicken. Great flavors and generous protein portions. So good! Pui was our server, who took good care of us. I couldn't stop eating the rice with the red curry sauce. We had leftovers to enjoy another meal.

I stopped in around 3 PM. First impression from outside wasn't great. Some of the lettering on the sign was peeling, there were a few bird nests around the exterior, and the phone number signage only showed the "210" area code. Still, the reviews were strong enough that I decided to give it a shot. Inside, the menu was surprisingly extensive, with Thai, Chinese, Pho, and sushi options. I briefly considered sushi, but figured Thai was the safer bet given the restaurant's name. One thing that stood out though was that the sushi bar itself was mostly blocked from view by decorations and bottles, so you really couldn't see the fish or prep area. Service started off well. I was seated quickly and the waiter brought menus right away. I asked him whether he preferred the red curry or the Pad Phet, but he mentioned he was new and hadn't tried either dish yet. I ended up going with the Pad Phet because it offered a combo option with chicken, beef, and shrimp. For appetizers, I ordered the Thai spring rolls and seaweed salad. The spring rolls came out quickly and were very good--crispy, fresh, and probably one of the stronger parts of the meal. My entree arrived shortly after and was also enjoyable overall. By the time I finished eating, I assumed the seaweed salad had simply been forgotten. Then, while I was trying to flag down the waiter for the check, he returned with the salad and apologized for the delay. To his credit, he acknowledged it right away. The presentation was nice, although the salad itself felt a bit underdressed. What held the experience back most for me was the overall upkeep and atmosphere. There were quite a few small things that individually wouldn't matter much, but together created a worn-down impression: peeling wallpaper in several spots, empty boxes near the entrance and wine storage area, and wine bottles arranged somewhat haphazardly. Even little details--like the obstructed sushi bar and uneven decor--added up to a space that felt less polished than it could be. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would consider stopping in again when I'm in the area, but the restaurant would really benefit from a little more attention to presentation and maintenance to better match the quality of the meal itself.

As a mom of 2 on the go I loved the food truck location, because I was able to park in front of the business while one of my girls napped in the car. The owner was very friendly. He had a few orders ahead of mine, I know some people might leave if they're impatient but that only peaked my interest more. I was given an electric pad that alerts you when your order is ready so you can wait in your car! I ordered the Chicken pad Thai (medium spiced), and I got my hubby the Chicken pad woon sen (mild). I tried both. The food was delicious! If it is your first time trying it, be sure to start off with the mild spice and work your way up. You know how some places you order spicy but it's not actually spicy; yeah no, his is spicy LOL so for my personal preference I think a mild is best. People don't be discouraged by how the portions look in the picture! Swear it's not those small "meal prep" containers, it's a GOOD SIZE portion. 10/10 will return for sure and I love that there's other food trucks around, so if you and your partner want something different you'll have options too. I will say that the thing that personally frustrated me a little, was the wait time to get my food; but then again like I said there was a LINE ahead of me so yes his food is popular. I think he also has the option to order online, so maybe I'll try that next time. I placed my order around 5:40pm and got my food till 6:20pm. BUT keep in mind everything was freshly made, the taste was Amazing, good portion and it is just HIM working the truck. So maybe order ahead or maybe you'll get lucky and there won't be a long line ahead of you.

This sweet little Thai restaurant near JBSA-Randolph is one of those rare places that just gets it right every single time. The service is awesome too -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. My absolute favorite item is the crispy duck curry.
