Great chow! Awesome service. Delicious seafood and lots of great mix it up options. My favorite was the salt and pepper grabs. Delicious! Was worth the drive across town. Clean and nice inside.

If you're a fan of crawfish and seafood boil with an Asian inspired flavor, this is a great spot. Crawfish, crabs and shrimp are fresh, juicy and delightfully packed with seasoning that seeps into every bite. It is also nice to have rice option on the menu! The Sauce, the signature boil, has just the right amount of heat. The sausages are sautéed well before entering the boil which adds a layer of texture to the meal. Potatoes are firm and buttery, not mushy! There is only one spice level for The Sauce, which is Medium between 1 to 5 it sits well on 3. Sweet. Savory. Spicy! Several seafood combo options and add ons as well as other non-seafood entrees. Good selection of beer and wine. Restaurant is clean and welcoming, staff are friendly and attentive! Dessert offerings also available. We arrived early @6 on a Saturday night and seated immediately.

We ordered to-go from Crawfish King in Live Oak, and honestly? For takeout, they nailed it. Everything held up way better than expected--no soggy mess, no cold seafood sadness. We got the crawfish boil, snow crab, and head-on shrimp. All super fresh, well-cooked, and seasoned right. The crawfish especially were plump and easy to peel, which is always a gamble with takeout, but they came through. We chose two sauces: * The garlic butter was light and subtle--not heavy or greasy, which let the seafood shine. * The house sauce brought the heat. More spice, deeper flavor, and honestly the better pick if you want that classic boil kick. We wrapped it up with mango sticky rice, which... yeah, we didn't love. The mango was fine, but the rice was undercooked--kind of tough, which threw the texture way off. A bit of a letdown after such a solid main meal. That said, for a casual seafood boil to-go, they really delivered. Flavorful, fresh, and still hot by the time we dug in. Will definitely order again--just might skip dessert next time.

Decent meal. Small, quiet restaurant with friendly service. A solid stop if you're in the area.

I don't know if the owner changed, the chef changed, the distributor changed or all three but, the crawfish we bought today, 5/11/25, was bad. Half the bag tasted like it was frozen, and was boiled in water, the other half was over cooked or dead before it hit the boil. The picture showed how small the majority of the crawfish was and the other tail shows how over cooked it was. On top of all that I was overcharged for my order, but, fortunately they said they will refund me the difference so we will see.

This is by far my favorite crawfish spot in North San Antonio. I will drive all the way from Seguin to get crawfish from this spot. The seasoning is Vietnamese style, which just means that it has a lot of flavor, but not like the Cajun flavor. Honestly, their style of crawfish is now a preference since you get flavor as well as a little heat if you desire. Absolutely delicious crawfish. The staff is friendly and they have a good vibe. You can tell that people like to come here for a good time.

A local favorite with great service and delicious food. I was craving crawfish and this spot did not disappoint.

Wow I did not know that I needed a Lao Cajun fusion dinner in my life. The food was incredible. This is giving major hidden gem vibes. It's just outside of San Antonio, with great pricing and an excellent menu. The service was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this cool and yummy spot in town.

Absolutely delicious We had snow crab, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. Everything was seasoned well and tasted great.

Seafood Laotian-style! From good-sized oysters in shells, crab legs, tom yum, crawfish, lobster tails, to shrimp. Spicy to not-so-spicy flavors. The service was good. The place was clean, and quiet, and looked like a new place in Live Oak almost in the Universal City area.

Absolutely delicious Everything was seasoned well and tasted great. We picked up and took it home and was still hot when we got home. The sausage had a little kick to it and the potatoes where sweet and had a little spice at the end. Even the corn was on point If you going through Live Oak Texas definitely check em out ! Service was great, they even stayed open for a minute longer so we could pick up our order.

As a mom of 2 on the go I loved the food truck location, because I was able to park in front of the business while one of my girls napped in the car. The owner was very friendly. He had a few orders ahead of mine, I know some people might leave if they're impatient but that only peaked my interest more. I was given an electric pad that alerts you when your order is ready so you can wait in your car! I ordered the Chicken pad Thai (medium spiced), and I got my hubby the Chicken pad woon sen (mild). I tried both. The food was delicious! If it is your first time trying it, be sure to start off with the mild spice and work your way up. You know how some places you order spicy but it's not actually spicy; yeah no, his is spicy LOL so for my personal preference I think a mild is best. People don't be discouraged by how the portions look in the picture! Swear it's not those small "meal prep" containers, it's a GOOD SIZE portion. 10/10 will return for sure and I love that there's other food trucks around, so if you and your partner want something different you'll have options too. I will say that the thing that personally frustrated me a little, was the wait time to get my food; but then again like I said there was a LINE ahead of me so yes his food is popular. I think he also has the option to order online, so maybe I'll try that next time. I placed my order around 5:40pm and got my food till 6:20pm. BUT keep in mind everything was freshly made, the taste was Amazing, good portion and it is just HIM working the truck. So maybe order ahead or maybe you'll get lucky and there won't be a long line ahead of you.

We ordered the chicken satay and larb (laab). The "chicken satay" was simply a whole chicken breast served with a coconut sauce. Calling it Thai chicken satay is honestly embarrassing. Authentic Thai chicken satay is marinated in coconut milk, curry powder or yellow curry paste, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garlic, fish sauce, and palm sugar. It develops its signature yellow color and sweet-savory flavor before being grilled on skewers. Please look at the picture and judge for yourself. The larb was also disappointing. It was so sweet it tasted more like a dessert than larb. Authentic larb should be: * Tangy from lime juice * Savory from fish sauce * Fresh from herbs * Spicy from chilies * Slightly nutty from toasted rice powder Instead, it lacked the bright, bold flavors that make larb one of Thailand's most famous dishes. It was disappointing to see two simple and well-known Thai dishes prepared so far from their authentic flavors. I understand that restaurants sometimes adapt recipes to local tastes, but when a restaurant advertises itself as Thai, I expect dishes that at least resemble the flavors and preparation of traditional Thai food.

The pho was flavorful, the meats were tender, and everything tasted fresh. The mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious and ended the meal on a high note. The large Vietnamese egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, but I was surprised they weren't served with a lemon wedge, which is something I usually expect. The PW5 Combo listed bean sprouts on the menu, but they were missing from the dish. While it didn't take away from the overall flavor, I do think it's important for the dish to match the menu description. Service started off strong. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us regularly at the beginning of the meal. However, as our dinner progressed it became difficult to get his attention when we were ready for a to-go container and the check. Would I Order It Again?Absolutely. The food alone is worth coming back for. I'd just hope for a little more consistency with the menu items and a more attentive finish to the dining experience. Final Take: Great food, especially the pho and mango sticky rice. A few small service and presentation details kept it from earning five s, but it's definitely a restaurant I'd recommend. I guess it matches its name (4 s). A-List Rating: (4/5) Until next bite... this is A-List, keeping it deliciously honest.

They came with soup- which we got at the END of our meal after asking a couple times. I stopped in around 3 PM. First impression from outside wasn't great. Some of the lettering on the sign was peeling, there were a few bird nests around the exterior, and the phone number signage only showed the "210" area code. Still, the reviews were strong enough that I decided to give it a shot. Inside, the menu was surprisingly extensive, with Thai, Chinese, Pho, and sushi options. I briefly considered sushi, but figured Thai was the safer bet given the restaurant's name. One thing that stood out though was that the sushi bar itself was mostly blocked from view by decorations and bottles, so you really couldn't see the fish or prep area. Service started off well. I was seated quickly and the waiter brought menus right away. I asked him whether he preferred the red curry or the Pad Phet, but he mentioned he was new and hadn't tried either dish yet. I ended up going with the Pad Phet because it offered a combo option with chicken, beef, and shrimp. For appetizers, I ordered the Thai spring rolls and seaweed salad. The spring rolls came out quickly and were very good--crispy, fresh, and probably one of the stronger parts of the meal. My entree arrived shortly after and was also enjoyable overall. By the time I finished eating, I assumed the seaweed salad had simply been forgotten. Then, while I was trying to flag down the waiter for the check, he returned with the salad and apologized for the delay. To his credit, he acknowledged it right away. The presentation was nice, although the salad itself felt a bit underdressed. What held the experience back most for me was the overall upkeep and atmosphere. There were quite a few small things that individually wouldn't matter much, but together created a worn-down impression: peeling wallpaper in several spots, empty boxes near the entrance and wine storage area, and wine bottles arranged somewhat haphazardly. Even little details--like the obstructed sushi bar and uneven decor--added up to a space that felt less polished than it could be. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would consider stopping in again when I'm in the area, but the restaurant would really benefit from a little more attention to presentation and maintenance to better match the quality of the meal itself.
