We love the food at Thai Chilli -- it's consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with care. The dishes are packed with authentic Thai flavors that keep us coming back, and the service is always acceptable and reliable, even during busy times. That said, the prices are definitely on the high side. While we expect to pay a bit more for quality, some of the individual charges feel excessive. For example, being charged $4 for a Dr Pepper and 50 cents for half a lime left a bad taste in our mouths -- and not the good kind. (Mind you this is also not an upscale restaurant it looks and feels very local and small. ) Overall, Thai Chilli delivers when it comes to food, but the pricing feels overrated for what you get. We'll keep enjoying our favorites here, but a little more value would go a long way.

I went to order some food to go and asked for a wonton soup NOT SPICY. Came home and took one bite and noticed immediately that is incredibly spicy. When I called the store the manager said I asked for medium spicy even though I know what I asked for and have the receipt to prove it. And she refused to give me a refund because she said she was the only one cooking. I cannot eat spicy food.

For Christmas Eve dinner, we found out that @thaichilisatx was open until 6pm. We headed there for dinner. Dad had Lemonade, Hubby had Arnold Palmer, and I had Trivento Malbec. We started with Spring Rolls and Fried Tofu. Hubby and I shared the Red Curry with shrimp. We all shared the Baked Fish, which was a red trout. For the sweet ending, we had the Coconut Ice Cream with sticky rice. Nikki, the owner, gave us a complimentary Mango Sticky Rice. We had a great experience and would highly recommend a stop here.

The Pad Thai was a bit dry, flavorless and lacked enough sauce. It is normally good, but disappointing tonight. The Phad Se-Ew was really good.

10/10 this place is SO yummy! I used to frequent their other location in stone oak, but that location got bought out by someone else & the quality is not the same as this place. I'm so happy that Thai Chili is still at this location because they're the best in taste, quality and portion size. I would absolutely recommend coming here for the lunch specials too!

    Chicken fried rice Dumplings

We ordered the chicken fried rice and dumplings. We asked for extra soy sauce, and received a TOTAL of 2 packets(see photo). The rice was tasty, but the dumplings appeared and tasted as if they were cooked LONG ago. Overall, a bit disappointed, esp for the cost.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in town! We had dinner on a weekday night, and it wasn't that busy. Service was fast and great. The restaurant is quiet, casual, and relaxing with some background music. Decided to try something new and ordered the rice dish with cashews. It was great!! The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was well cooked. I always get a 0 or 1 for spice level. If you ask for anything higher than 3, be prepared! Also love the the fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls for appetizers!

One of the best Thai places in SA for fresh, hot, quality Thai food! The quantity and quality of the food is perfect. I have no complaints there. However, the service is not the best in the world. We were a party of 10 and although we got our food in a timely fashion, the server never checked on us again. We had to flag her down twice for drink refills and napkins. I'd go back, and I would recommend it to friends - maybe it was just that one server. Try the Phad Pak and the Phad Him-Mapan for the win!

Last time got Phad Khee Mao with tofu and did not like the noodles but the flavor was good. Our waiter Patrick was very nice and attentive. I forgot to leave a review so throwing it on here. Came in today and got the same fantastic waiter. He's so great at explaining the meals I ordered the Phad Prik Pao with fresh tofu. It was pretty good too but not sure I'd order it again. The sauce was a little sweet and the spice level 7 wasn't very spicy in this dish. Next time I want to try the Phad Khing. But we'll definitely be back it's my husband's favorite place and the staff is always great. They also replaced the rickety chairs which was a nice bonus!

My fiance was craving Thai food the other day, so we decided to come here. We have been here a few times before, and the food is always good. There were no issues with finding parking in front of the restaurant, and there was no wait for a table. The server was very nice and also attentive. This is a restaurant where you can choose your spice level from 1 to 10. My fiance ordered a Pad Woo Sen at a spice level of 1. I like ordering food that makes me question my life choices, so I order the Crab Fried Rice at a 10. Both dishes were really tasty, but I don't think I got a level 10. My fiance does not like spice and said the spice was "not bad". From what I understand, you can order above a 10 even if they only ask for 1 through 10 when order. I'll have to remember to get a higher level next time. This restaurant is decorated with what looks like little demon heads. They are marked with a label warning not to touch the glass. Kind of reminded me of Annabelle doll because of it being in a glass case and the warning. Not wanting to anger a demon, I obeyed the sign. When I got home, I looked it up, and it looks it might be a model of a Thai Khon Mask I recommend this place for really tasty food but want to remind people that if you like spicy food that they will go above 10.

Unmemorable food but the service was decent and it had an okay ambience. I do like the location due to everything around it.

The food was very underwhelming I feel like the price did not justify the taste and quality of the meal.

I had no idea there was so much Thai food in San Antonio but I happened to stumble upon this…read morespecific restaurant because of Google Gemini. Because I am on a work trip, I did not have to worry about pricing, but I did think that, although it is the standard, this meal was pretty expensive. It was over $33 but I did add a fried egg and extra chicken. I ordered the Krapo with medium spice and it was perfectly spicy. There was a perfect amount of Thai basil in the dish and it was wet enough for the rice to be a perfect addition. The bell peppers and the onions were absolutely spectacular. Now for the Boba. I ordered a combination of coconut, kiwi and watermelon. I also made sure that I subbed out the milk for coconut water as I cannot tolerate dairy. This Boba smoothie might be the best Boba I have ever had. I will say that the lid is kind of confusing because I do not know if the Thai restaurant makes it or if it is a neighboring restaurant. Regardless, I would be back just for this eight dollar Boba. Upon arriving to the restaurant, there was limited parking and inside it was super crowded. Obviously this is a popular spot and a lot of people ordered delivery through apps. It was kind of chaotic when picking up, but it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant was dark, but it did seem clean. My only grip here is that they must've been so rushed that they did not give me silverware or napkins. I had to beg my hotel to accommodate me.
