My children have eaten here a few times and have recommended that the hubby and I check it out. As soon as you walk in you are quickly greeted, they are super friendly and have excellent service. The entire establishment is super clean, the floors, the tables, everything. We ordered the chicken dumplings, which were excellent. Great texture and flavor. My husband loves wider noodles, so he got the pad see ewe, and I went with a traditional pad Thai. The food came out pretty quick and was super hot and fresh. I had asked for a bit of a higher spice level and honestly, I just didn't feel the heat. I feel like my sauce was a little bit more on the sweet side, which was just a bit offputting for me. I really wanted savory. To help balance out the sweetness I did ask for more limes and scallions, it helped a little bit, but I still wanted that spice level to be a bit more intense. It's Daddy-Daughter night tonight since hubby had dinner plans. Dad and I headed to @angkorbistro for dinner. Dad had the Fresh Watermelon Juice and I had the Fresh Watermelon Ice Blend from Tealicious Cafe. Nora, the owner, came out to chat with us. She's originally from Cambodia and wanted to share some dishes with us. It was such a nice treat because I've been wanting to try their Cambodian food. Golden Wat, which was affiliated with NOLA Brunch & Beignets, closed down a few years back and had served Cambodian food. Pra hok ktis is an appetizer or entree eaten with fresh veggies. The ingredients include fermented fish, lemongrass, coconut milk, and pork. It had some spicy kick to it. I couldn't stop eating it! The other dish was the Chicken with Lemongrass. I really enjoyed both of them. Since overseas Chinese make up some of the population in Cambodia, some dishes are like Chinese food. The menu @angkorbistro includes Thai, Chinese, and Japanese. Dad had Miso Soup. We shared the Fried Spring Rolls and the Basil Rice with Tofu. We had plenty of leftovers to bring home. I can't wait for hubby to try the Cambodian food! read more

I came here for the first time on a friend's recommendation, and it was such an awesome first time dinner experience :) ! My friend has been here before and highly recommended it because of the excellent customer service and delicious food :) ! We had the Cambodian combination noodle soup bowls, dumplings, and sticky rice with mango dessert :) ! We also ordered jackfruit boba, which was unique to me because not all Asian restaurants serve this ;) ! The super friendly owner, Nora, and the waiters and waitresses came out to check on us and make sure we were doing ok :) ! We felt very well take care of and highly respected by the grateful restaurant staff! We really how this restaurant is very high quality in their food and customer service :) ! I decided to try something new in the area and ordered shrimp summer rolls, pad see ew, tempura shrimp, and a Thai tea with boba. The pad see ew was amazing! Definitely the highlight of the meal. The boba itself tasted fine too. Unfortunately, the Thai tea had a strange flavor and smell, almost like it had been stored in a container that previously held fruity tea, and the shrimp summer rolls were disappointing. The lettuce tasted wilted, like it had been left out for hours one day, put back in the fridge, and then reused the next. When I called the restaurant, the gentleman who answered was excellent. He listened, understood, and offered a fair solution which led to letting me swap the summer rolls for tempura shrimp and even suggesting another tea option. He turned the situation around and left me feeling like my business mattered. Unfortunately, when I arrived to pick up the remade food, that experience was completely undone by the girl working the front (not the one who took my order over the phone, she was awesome!) Instead of showing any hospitality, she asked what was wrong with the Thai tea and then bluntly told me she had tried it herself and "it tasted fine" and that it was "fresh." Rather than listening or trying to make me feel comfortable & regain my business , she made me feel like I was being challenged and dismissed. It was awkward, unprofessional, and the exact opposite of good customer service. The difference between the two interactions was night and day. The gentleman on the phone made me want to come back - the young woman at the front made me feel unwelcome & dismissed. For a $50 takeout order, that lack of basic hospitality is hard to overlook. I'm giving this a 4 star rating & only taking off 1 star, simply because of the young woman who couldn't properly handle a customer and offer basic hospitality. read more

However I just recently came and had my boyfriend go in to order it to go and our food took over and hour to come out even though we had only ordered 2 rolls, meanwhile when we sit inside our food comes out in 20ish minutes, we were watching people come in and out and getting there food for a while, but obviously we weren't getting our food. However, this is overall a good place for sit down food, just don't go in and ask for takeout, they do not prioritize the takeout people, some who need a quick meal. read more

The tom yum soup was delicious and flavorful, tom kha soup was creamy and fragrant. Pad thai was on point and couldn't stop eating it, generous portion. Basil beef fried rice was just as good. Kids enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, ate every bite. Almond milk tea was perfectly not too sweet and creamy. The waiter was very cordial and checked on us frequently. It was watery, flavorless, and bland. My fiancé exchanged it for Thai shrimp fried rice. It was alright. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was alright as well. I've drank many tom yum soups in many restaurants in the past and even in Thailand and a good tom yum soup consists of good amount of wholesome mushrooms, meat or seafood and spices, but the tom yum soup I had last night had pieces of mushrooms cut into thin slices, 2 pieces of shrimp and squid and all soup and tomatoes. Had a good experience at Angkor Bistro. It was our first time and we went fairly early (lunch time) so it wasn't too crowded. We were seated and served right away. I usually stick to the same at Thai restaurants (pad see ewe)and that is what I ordered here. My husband ordered the combination fried rice. Both were pretty good. They have lunch specials until 3pm btw. Their drink menu is also pretty extensive! They have all kinds/flavors of tea and you can add boba. I had a peach tea no boba. Overall good experience! I love coming to angkor Bistro! I always forget to take pictures when in here and that's because the food is too good!! Angkor Bistro is our new favorite Thai restaurant. We have ate inside during lunch and ordered take out for dinner. During lunch, there is plenty of seating, food comes out quickly, and our server is amazing. He is always on his own, but you wouldn't notice, our AMAZING sweet tea is never empty and they have even brought out little toys for our little one to play with while eating. It feels like a little family restaurant and the food is great. We religiously order either the Pad Thai or the Pad Woonsen. Both portions are big for the lunch special, we always have enough to bring home for leftovers. Give this place a try and you will love it. The place has updated its dine in procedures, so please read the instructions when you visit. The experience I had may differ from yours because of the current situation of Covid. I will tell you I was a little bit nervous because prior to ordering, I saw a review about to-go/pick up orders being wrong, but I imagine they have really improved since going into business. My food to go prepped with nothing missing, not short of anything, and quickly even though it was a Friday night. I do think they are finally a well-oiled machine here. The portion sizes are pretty generous for the price. I think the amount for example they pay into a noodle dish to go container is larger compared to what you get at other local Asian restaurants, but is cheaper. The Pad See Ew was good, not too greasy, and the beef was thinly sliced so you're not tiring out your jaw trying to chew through a big sinewy piece of meat. Also, bonus point, it holds up well to reheating the next day. I would have liked if the summer rolls had the clear thin noodles in them the way I have had them in other places. They were very lettuce heavy inside, but well-rolled and didn't fall apart as you ate them. The cheese rolls look like a lumpia shanghai, if you're familiar with Filipino food, and come with a nice dipping sauce; the order is pretty big! I wish there was more cheese packed inside, but that's probably just me. The mango sticky rice was the only item that I felt somewhat unhappy with and didn't feel thrilled while eating. Again, for those familiar with Filipino food, or really a lot of other southeast Asian cultures, sticky rice desserts are no stranger. The mango sticky rice had hardened into sort of a brick and felt it was probably overcooked. The flavor was good, but the texture was a little off. Overall, I think this fills a gap in the shopping center it is in, and being someone who lives in the nearby neighborhood, I still want this to I very much appreciate that it's closer and convenient. Some things I would definitely improve, but I will still be back to try more! read more

I like this place for some reasons, maybe it's the hint of their Thai -influenced decors, clean flow of energy, great location with a nice patio if you want an outdoor scene, a quiet spot with a nice ambience inside. Cell reception in this area can be hard, so I really appreciate that they provide wifi here. I got introduced to a new Thai soup, Tom Kha. I used to order Tom yum a lot in the past. I liked the taste of their yellow curry, not spicy and I know it's good for me. I like Vietnamese coffee, but here I got the best value for their price. I will get my Vietnamese coffees from here from now on. The staff here provide good service. I spilled my coffee because the lid wasn't completely closed. They cleaned up my mess after I left, so he said, and gave me the extra coffee added to my cup to replace the spilt drink. Thanks ! read more

Their pad Thai is to die for. I use to visit the restaurant before it was renamed and it was always good but the consistency wasn't always there. But now it has me visiting once a week!!
