    S26. Mongolian Beef Lunch Special
    Vanessa C.

This place definitely seems to cater to take out but there is some seating. Everything was served on styrofoam plates if you eat in. I got a lunch special of Mongolian beef and I upgraded the soup to a 32 oz for $4 more. The soup was good and so was the beef. But I wish there was more beef than onions and green peppers. Service was fast and I would definitely go back for something quick to go.

My first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered for delivery. The person taking the order was very pleasant and polite. I ordered shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. Sweet and sour chicken. Cream cheese Rangoon and chicken egg rolls. When I tell you they did not disappoint. I think this is the best shrimp fried rice I've had in quite some time. Even though it was delivered it was still at a temperature I could enjoy. The chicken egg roll was delicious. The cream cheese Rangoon was delicious and fresh. A little more cream cheese or make them smaller. I'm not complaining just explaining. Oh and did I mention fast delivery as well.

I come here everytime I'm sent to work in stone oak.. Tuesday I was eating the orange chicken lunch special and bit into something hard it hurt my tooth. Spit it out and it was what looked like the back of an earring . Probably won't be going back.

Great quick service once again. It's sage to say we are regulars! Next time I am looking forward getting the family dinner.

    52. S3. Kung Pao Chicken Lunch Special and S17. Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special

Sizzling Wok is the epitome of Chinese comfort food. I've periodically visited this business since my high school days and it's one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. It's family owned, reasonably priced, and my friends and I always leave feeling satisfied and stuffed full of authentic food. It's a smaller, cozy hole in the wall place with an amazing staff that's great for casual meals. The menu has all of the usual Chinese dishes so if there's a dish you already know you'll like, you'll be able to find it here. I've tried a lot of their menu in the past, but on my most recent visit with my fiancé we ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with Lo Mein, Egg Drop Soup, and Cheese Rangoons, and the Teriyaki Chicken with White Rice, Egg Roll, and Chicken Egg Roll Lunch Specials. Everything came out piping hot and was extremely fresh. I chose the spicier Kung Pao which had a good kick to it without overbearing your tongue and veggies prepared to a texture that's tender without feeling mushy. The Lo Mein was marinated in a savory sauce that complimented the noodles but also allowed for you to dip in the sauces of your main dish without clashes in flavor profiles. Though I loved my King Pao Chicken, my fiancé's Teriyaki Chicken was even better. The teriyaki was packed full of flavor and the chicken was fall apart tender. There was a lot of the teriyaki left over so you could eat it with the fluffy white rice and enjoy it even after you were finished with the chicken. As for the additional sides, the Egg Drop Soup has managed to have a consistently subtle taste with a rich texture throughout the years, the Cheese Rangoons were crunchy on the outside and deliciously creamy on the inside, and the Chicken Egg Roll was crisp with a lovely filling that tasted even better with the Sweet and Sour Sauce that came with it. If you're thinking that this sounds like a TON of food, you're absolutely right. We always have lots of leftovers, and they taste just as fantastic every time. You're missing out if you don't give Sizzling Wok a try, and you'll be sad you didn't try it sooner. Even if you're not too hungry, you should stop in and give one of their fantastic frozen Boba Drinks a try!

This is a hidden gem. The food is fresh! The location is small but wow the taste! They have so many options to offer so your a bit overwhelmed but whatever you pick you won't be disappointed. The entrees offer egg roll and soup. If you're in the area, this is better than the buffet across the street.

    Not a bad spot.

Food does not taste like Chinese food. Maybe I'm just picky but this place does not have good General Tsos chicken at all.

The portion sizes were very good - as you can see by the pictures. I ordered the spicy combo, and ordered it extra spicy - maybe a language barrier, but I think they took the spice away as it had no heat at all. The chicken portions were HUGE and the bowl of soup was plenty large for four people to share. Will definitely be back!!

We tried some new-to-us dishes recently and generally found them to be very good. Orange Chicken was not overly battered, big chunks of white chicken meat, not too saucy and just a hint of spice. Real orange peel, too, which makes all the difference! We also ordered the Spicy Combination with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Carrots, peppers, bamboo in the dish provided a bit of veggie balance. Not our most favorite, but still very good. As per usual, we started with steamed dumplings and crab puffs; DH added a cup of egg drop soup- this place serves his favorite egg drop soup. Everything was delicious. I always ask for chili oil for that extra added kick! I do wish that the dishes labeled "spicy" were actually spicy. They really aren't spicy at all. Don't let the little pepper symbol deter you. Always clean, always prompt, always good!

The staff is super friendly and courteous :) ! We usually order the beef vermicelli soup, and a variety of dumplings :D ! They serve our food pretty promptly, with the soup still hot and tasty, and the dumplings steamy and savory :D ! My sister doesn't eat pork. So she typically orders dumplings that don't contain pork. I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. As it gets closer to 12 noon, it starts to get really busy, and it's harder and trickier for the staff to seat you. There is both booth and table seating. It's a great restaurant to catch up with friends, family or even colleagues over a good meal :) ! The parking lot out in front is a pretty decent size. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

I got the beef noodle soup with pork and chive steamed dumplings combination that comes with tea or soda. With tax, this is all under $20. Staff was friendlier than other places that are asian own:). Casual place to eat with friends for great bowl of noodles and dumplings! I would come back to try other items off their menu. Most meals are excellent with a I miss now and then, but overall, I would never complain about that. The price of their meals seem to be stuck in a world without crazy tyrant leaders, and inflation out the roof, though I don't know for how much longer that will remain. Wah Kee! We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.
