It's our second time dining at Flying Tiger Thai Restaurant in San Antonio, and we've really enjoyed the experience overall. The first time, we ordered some food to-go and honestly didn't like it as much, but after dining in, we realized this is food that truly needs to be eaten hot and fresh to appreciate the flavors. This time we ordered a variety of appetizers and mains: Baby Egg Rolls, Chicken Satay, Chicken Pot Stickers, Veggie Pot Stickers, Edamame, Tom Yum Soup, Tom Kha Soup, Curry Fried Rice with Tofu & Cashews, Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango, and Fresh Lemonade. The Chicken Pot Stickers were a standout, easily 5/5. They were flavorful and perfectly cooked. My friend preferred the veggie pot stickers, but I personally loved the chicken version more. The Tom Kha Soup was also very good, rich, creamy, and comforting. The Curry Fried Rice with Cashews was the only dish that fell a bit short for me. The cashews didn't taste as fresh as expected, and I'd recommend removing the peas, their sweetness didn't complement the curry rice well. The dish itself was decent but missed that bold curry flavor we were hoping for. On the brighter side, the Freshly Squeezed Lemonade was excellent, refreshing and already chilled, so we skipped adding ice. The Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango was a nice decent way to end the meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the dine in experience. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back, but strictly to dine in rather than takeout.

Such a great spot for Thai food in SA! Came to Flying Tiger after seeing the outstanding reviews online. Both the pad Thai and the cashew rice dish were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. This is now my favorite Thai spot in SA. The service was great and the ambiance was calming. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving authentic Thai food.

Ordered the duck, noodle soup with beef, orange chicken and a few other things. The duck was perfect and everything else was really good. Customer service was good.

Hostess was very friendly and nice! Had great menu suggestions. Was seated 5 minutes before lunch specials were ending and still able to get the deals! The dining area was very comfortable, we sat in a booth near a window . It was such a tasty lunch. Will definitely be back

My daughter and I had a date set to spend together and she picked Flying Tiger to try something new. We love the vibe, the music, everything! They have got to have the best lunch special I have ever seen. Most places will give you a salad or soup with the entree but they give you a half order of an appetizer! I ordered the garlic noodles with beef and swapped out for glass noodles with a medium spice level and the chicken potstickers, and everything was absolutely delicious! My daughter ordered the flying tiger chicken with the mango sauce and a side of sesame sauce and crab rangoon. She mixed the mango with the rice and put the sesame sauce on the chicken, and it was insanely delicious! The chicken was perfectly fried and the tempura was so light and crisp. And to finish it off, we ordered a Thai tea, it was really delicious. Very light, got it with coconut milk, and it was just right. Everyone from beginning to end was super friendly and gave us great service. This is definitely going to be a new spot that we frequent.

SOOO GOOOOOOD! We had the potstickers, chicken satay, pad Thai and dumpling noodle soup. Everything was sooo yummy and steaming hot. Our server was super sweet and talkative, I picked my entree per her recommendation and am so glad I did. It was super warm and cozy in there with soft lighting and laughter everywhere. You could tell there were quite a few locals inside. We also had delicious Thai beer and mango sticky rice! Will come back

The food at this restaurant tastes very authentic, flavorful, light, and delicious. I really love how they display their food and it's perfect to do family style to share the flavors and tastes and try more items! The food is fresh and looks extremely appetizing. It's definitely my go-to for Thai and recommendations to others. The inside is wide and airy and clean.

Nice casual family friendly restaurant. About 25 tables/booths. Lots of takeout also. We each had a $12.99 lunch special. The pad thai with chicken was terrific. I went low spice but next time will spiced it up. Lunch specials come with mini appetizers. The crab rangoon were square and totally stuffed! Very tasty. Mini eggrolls were also excellent. Hubby had a nice beef with garlic noodle dish. We left stuffed and I even had leftovers. Friendly efficient staff. Greeted within 1 minute. Drinks out within 3 minutes. Super busy at noon on a Thursday. Great great service ever tho every table was full! Plenty of parking. Closed on Wednesdays.

My family and I relocated to San Antonio 13 years ago and have been unable to find a Thai restaurant that we truly like. And then, Flying Tiger opened and we have finally found a place that we love! We have been there at least (5) times, each time using carry out. Our family go-to is the pad Thai, which is spot on. The curry's are also amazing, especially the Panang. One of my favorites is the Tom Yum soup. When you are gauging your spice level, expect a little hotter than you may be used to. They are applying for a liquor license, but in the meantime you can bring your own. We don't have any food pics, because we are always too excited to eat it before we remember to take a photo!! The staff is very nice and appreciative of your business. Highly recommended!!

Flying Tiger is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in San Antonio! I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The staff are always very friendly and communicate with you efficiently when they are busy. I also think all the dishes are very affordable as the portions are very big for what you are paying. The actual restaurant is very cozy inside and also has plenty of parking outside. Just a tip: Take a visit here for their lunch menu! It is very affordable and includes an appetizer with your meal too. My favorite dishes here are the classic *Pad See Ew and the *Pad Woon Sen. The rice dishes are also nice and I highly recommend the *Thai Fried Rice. They also have a spice scale that you can adjust to your liking for many of the dishes which is nice. I highly recommend visiting Flying Tiger Thai for a yummy, affordable meal!

Upon opening the doors, you hear the little bells and then it hits you...the sound and smells of Thailand coming from the kitchen! I've eaten my share of Thai food, but it's always the reaction from my wife's face that I'm looking for. Noppagao is the REAL deal! The food has the TRULY AUTHENTIC taste of Thailand! The orders came out fast and was so FLAVORFUL! So much in fact that we've already been there twice in 3 days, and will return before we leave. Everyone in the restaurant is so welcoming and you feel the same way here, as you do in Thailand! So, if you're looking for some AUTHENTIC Thai food, give Noppagao Thai Cuisine a GO!

Stopped in and ordered the calamari, thai egg rolls, and some pork pad see ew. The rolls were delish, the calamari a bit rubbery, and the pad see ew on the land side. Average it out and it's a four-star place. Worth a visit if you're in the area and want to try a local Thai place. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Because I am on a work trip, I did not have to worry about pricing, but I did think that, although it is the standard, this meal was pretty expensive. It was over $33 but I did add a fried egg and extra chicken. I ordered the Krapo with medium spice and it was perfectly spicy. There was a perfect amount of Thai basil in the dish and it was wet enough for the rice to be a perfect addition. The bell peppers and the onions were absolutely spectacular. Now for the Boba. I ordered a combination of coconut, kiwi and watermelon. I also made sure that I subbed out the milk for coconut water as I cannot tolerate dairy. This Boba smoothie might be the best Boba I have ever had. I will say that the lid is kind of confusing because I do not know if the Thai restaurant makes it or if it is a neighboring restaurant. Regardless, I would be back just for this eight dollar Boba. Upon arriving to the restaurant, there was limited parking and inside it was super crowded. Obviously this is a popular spot and a lot of people ordered delivery through apps. It was kind of chaotic when picking up, but it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant was dark, but it did seem clean. My only grip here is that they must've been so rushed that they did not give me silverware or napkins. I had to beg my hotel to accommodate me.

The location was central to San Antonio but not super close to us in Schertz. The sign and chili mascot are pretty neat looking. And the restaurant itself is super clean and decorated very well. The buffet area seemed to be like it would be well stocked. They have a dedicated to go area. We tried to order the cheese rolls without crab, because neither of us like it. Sadly they couldn't do it and I understand. We ordered the chicken wings and dang they were good. Six wings to an order with jalapeños on the side. Came out fresh from the fryer. Seasoned well. I ordered the 61 chicken pad kee mao, and they say it's served on a bed of lettuce and man do they mean a bed of lettuce. Very fresh veggies, super tasty noodles. We also ordered the sesame chicken and again super good meal. Very tasty. Very fresh. Very good sauce. Nothing bad to say of it. We were here on a Monday night and man it was slow. Only other table there and I think the waitstaff needed to be cut. Because they were bored. Super bored. It was a lady and a guy. The guy who I know said his name but I'm just a terrible human and I don't remember it. Either way a good place to try. I do not know if I would be coming back. I think there are better places in the area to eat.

It is served over green curry, which also happens to be my favorite! The brisket is served on top of the curry bowl, so I first tried just the meat. It was also delicious and filled with potatoes and carrots! I am used to green curry being pretty spicy, but this is definitely a milder green curry. When I mixed the brisket in it was the perfect combination! The smokey meat blended with the curry spices was a delight to the palette, and it was just the right amount of food for a big and hungry guy like me!
