    30. Pad-Sa-Si-Ew and 5. Fresh Spring Rolls
    Ashley W.

The spring rolls were okay, but I loved the peanut sweet sauce that came with it! I thought the pad see ew was pretty good. I ordered through Postmates. Definitely more vegetables than meat. The meat was a little dry. I liked the bouncy texture of the noodles. I wish they packaged the food better. When I opened it, the noodles were leaking into the plastic bag. Just a small thing to keep in mind!

My boyfriend and I found this place for a late night dinner and we will say this place didn't really meet our expectations with the food. We were met with wonderful, quick service and hospitality! I ordered chicken pad thai and my boyfriend ordered the massman curry and egg rolls. My pad thai didn't have the classic thai flavor you would expect and the curry was more of a soup consistency. I wouldn't suggest this place if you are looking for classic thai, but if you'd like to try a different flavor go for it! The one thing I will say is that my boyfriend bought the egg rolls for $9.99 and there was a picture next to it with what looked like 5-6 of them but when we got them, it looked like they took 2 eggrolls and cut them up into 8 pieces. I highly suggest not getting those for sure.

Clean when I walked in. I went in for lunch and was the only one there...it was early. Ordered the PaNang Curry. It was excellent. Some of the best I've had and that's my usual at Thai restaurants. Service was sufficient, not above and beyond as they were busy with a lot of take-out business.

We walked in about 50 mins before close, it was quiet and empty, and we felt we should probably leave but they kindly invited us in and told us to pick any table! It was thoughtful and attentive customer service the entire visit. We hadn't eaten all day and went big for dinner. Chicken Satay appetizer was smoky with a sweet peanut sauce and a tangier cucumber sauce. Red and Panang Curry entrees w/ side of rice. Curry was spicy, savory, and traditionally tasty. And sesame chicken (if I recall properly) on a bed of veggies for the table. Everything was hot, fresh, and quickly prepared. The space is bright and colorful, clean, cozy yet spacious. Suffice to say it's also authentic! We found ourselves coming in on what I believe was one of the first few nights of Ramadan. It was decorated subtly in celebration and was very beautiful. This is great location, anyone taking a walk through the neighborhood or running errands nearby should stop in!

I give this place five stars simply for the kindness of the owners and the customer service!! We came in on a Friday during ramadan. Just about 10 min before sunset. We were the only ones there and the host gave us dates, without us asking to break our fast and the food came out literally in like 5 minutes! Simply their kindness alone is worth 5 stars! *the venue is very spacious and can accommodate larger groups *the food was hot and flavorful *great customer service *halal meat Great local joint, if you're looking for decent thai food that is halal. Like other reviews mention, yes the veggies are a little bit on the rawer side but overall I would come here again. Recommended dishes: 1) general tsao chicken 2) Drunken Noodle 3) Red curry

This place was recommended by a nephew and it did not disappoint. This is our second time eating here and the food was great! Highly recommended this place if you like Thai food.

What drew me to Tasty Thai was it's halal status: that's right, Tasty Thai is zabiha halal friendly! I believe it's the first of its kind in San Antonio. The people are sweet, our server kept a smile on his face for the entirety of our visit. Food was quick! We were in and out of there in an hour, and we ordered quite a few dishes for our party of 5! & for ambiance, I would say it's similar to other hole in the wall restaurants, with an added touch of flair near the front desk! Food itself was average, to decent, to pretty good depending on what you get! I wouldn't say any of their dishes were bad, but know what you want! My family had the mango sticky rice for the first time and they loved it! For me, I would say the favorite dish of the night was the chicken pad Thai! I've always loved pad Thai, and this one was one of the best ones I've had! Thankful for another option that caters to my dietary needs!

Visited on a weekend lunch. The service was not the best; our waitress was on the phone with someone while taking our orders and was not attentive. The vegetables were not fresh. There were also a ton of little gnats flying around our table, and we kept had to swipe them away throughout our entire stay. The visit was a disappointment to say the least.

Ate here when in San Antonio 3 months ago. Made it a point to come back. Started with Hot & Sour Soup. I just wanted a cup, but the small is a bowl. Ate it. All of it. Best H&S ever had. The Pad Thai was as good this time as last time. Hard choice as I love red curry. Service great. Food comes out piping hot.

Best Pad Thai and OPEN LATE!! All around great food and service, we will be returning back soon

Delicious! Super clean and staff was so kind and helpful. BYOB. Traditional Thai food + sushi was great! Loved the Thai sampler app. We look forward to returning.

It's located in a shopping center in the Stone Oak area with plenty of parking, even though we went late on a Friday night. The indoor dining was clean, spacious and enough tables to accommodate several parties. Live music for entertainment made for a relaxing time. The indoor lighting had a slight blue tint to provide more of a layback experience. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a good choice and very tasty. The Mojarra Chicharron, whole deep fried Tilapia, was not only delicious, but the presentation was perfect. Precut fried chunks placed on top of the fish made it easy to dip in the sauce and eat. Wifey went with the Pasado Del Rio, filet of Salmon, with lemon butter. It was well prepared and had a good blend of flavors. The prices were fair compared to other upscale seafood restaurants with entrees in the $20 range but also offer some Chef specials up to $75 for a shared meal. The service was adequate even though our server had a large table next to us. Others stepped in and picked up the slack, thus saving the night.

It reminded me of a previous space that now houses a restaurant. It was fairly busy on a Thursday night, reservations were suggested. It was flavorful and a very good dish. The grilled red fish with crab meat, grilled shrimp, tomato, garlic, serrano peppers, and creamy buttery sauce over dirty rice was our other entree. It was tasty, not over-salty, and quite tender. The dirty rice was good but not great. The food at Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen was good but not memorable. I was not sorry we tried them but also don't feel drawn to return. The decor and setup of the restaurant felt like a temporary pop up with no individuality as to who they are. For entree, I ordered the surf and turf because I needed some red meat. Meat came out very rare when I asked for medium rare. The tart lemon wine cream sauce was okay, but not the best. The mashed potatoes, however, was the best out of the meal. Warning about this restaurant: they charge you an additional 8% food tax on top of regular taxes. This is a huge red flag!

It did have a good price for cocktails which was nice though! The espresso martini was great, however the beans were a bit chewy. I switched to an old fashioned made with Buffalo Trace and it was delicious though. Service was kinda spotty with my waiter disappearing quite a bit. Maybe they see a table with one diner and think they're not going to get a decent tip. I had to ask another server for something at one point which should never be the case. The food was good though. It was hard to decide and since I was on a budget with a work expense, I had to choose wisely and put the booze on a separate tab. The salad was good and fresh and their cajun French dressing was bad. I switched to ranch and was able to enjoy it. The Catfish dish was delicious and came with shrimp, lump crab and oysters. Nice portion size and I was mostly satisfied. The sauce was pretty good for being outside of Louisiana, but still not "authentic". Is anywhere outside of LA great though? Luckily, it was walking distance from my hotel so easy to get to from there. It's on a "frontal" road so you may be driving in circles if you venture here on your own. I'd probably see what else San Antonio has to offer if I return to the area though as it didn't blow me away.

We had a bad experience in the past but the restaurant had turned itself around with new management. Since then, we started to come all the time again, especially during Crawfish season. I frequently buy 1-2 pounds of crawfish and my husband 1 pound of shrimp so we are VERY familiar with the portions expected. Two visits ago, I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish but the portion appeared closer to 1.5 pounds but my server said that ai was the only table that ordered 2 pounds so it was correct. I let that slide. I decided that in the future, I would order 1 pound and order another pound later to ensure that I can see the exact portions. Yesterday, I stopped by after a long run. I ordered 1 pound of crawfish and my husband ordered 1 pound of shrimp ($21.99 for 1 pound and $13.99 for 1/2 pound). When our order came, the portions were half of what was expected. I approached the front manager. He took to the back and weighed it, we receive 1/2 pound each but was charged 1 full pound. To fix it, they remade the order and to our surprise, added the wrong weight portion at no extra charge. Because of that, I did not post of what felt like the kitchen cheating the customer. Today, we returned. I had a free Chicken Tender coupon so after running 12 miles felt it was a good time to use the coupon, enjoy a margarita and my favorite, crawfish. Thinking yesterday was a fluke, we expected the correct portion size. Well, stupid me. Again, the crawfish came out with the portion size smaller than expected. I just asked if my waitress could weigh it. Nothing more, nothing less. The kitchen manager came out and spoke down to me that I do this all the time. And he was NOT going to weigh it. First of all, yesterday was my first time demanding our crawfish and shrimp to be weighed and we were indeed cheated. The way I was spoken to was definitely not appreciated. Being someone who order a a pound of crawfish from different establishments, I know what a pound should look like. Did they weigh the potato and corn as part of the crawfish (or shrimp)? If so this is a new practice and false advertisement. Should we be charged $10,99 a pound with the crawfish or $21.99 pound with the shrimp. We think NOT! The only reason why we come to Willie's is because of the great margarita deals. So, if you are okay with the kitchen at this establishment cheating you on your meal, feel free to come here. We will no longer be coming to this Willie's. It is NOT the only Willie's in town. F we get the same treatment at other Willie's then it is a Corporate issue and we will eat elsewhere. Stay tune for my update. Yes, I really would love to hear from a higher level Manager. And, please teach them some etiquette. Don't be RUDE to customers.
