Went for my son's birthday because he loves crawfish. We were the only people in the restaurant. The restaurant is ok more like fast food type of food. I personally wanted a more dine in nicer restaurant because it was for a special occasion, but that's my personal thought. It's Order and pickup at the counter, with one cook and one cashier. The menu had lots of variety from seafood boil to pho . I love my calamari and this was not a place I would recommend getting calamari. The boil was good was a little pricey for the boil but perhaps it goes on the price of the market that's understandable. The atmosphere was ok clean like I said it was only us in the restaurant so we enjoyed our company. The lighting was good. I rated this 3/5 because it was ok not the best but not the worst either. Everyone who ordered a boil ate it all up that tells you something... the appetizers I wouldn't order again if I went back. Just happened to be passing by and saw their "live crawfish" sign out front. I returned that night and was not disappointed. The crawfish was a good size and the flavor was excellent. Many other visitors ordered the pho and it looked so good. Will definitely have to return to try it out. read more

The king crab legs were spicy but they had so much meat inside! The sauce we chose was the regular and regular spicy and it was juicy and sweet but I prefer a more thicker sauce? It was kinda watery and I wished there was more garlic. Also regular spicy was actually spicy for me! They have a little robot that serves you the food which is really cute! They have lots of tables and lots of space and you have to set up your own paper for the seafood. The lemon pepper chicken wings were 7/10. I've been to LA Crawfish in Houston and the other locations. They've never disappointed and this location was not an exception. Food was amazing! We ordered the gumbo, pho, crawfish bites, and the wings. My favorite surprisingly was the wings! Very crispy, fresh, and well seasoned (lemon pepper was our pick). Gumbo and Pho was pretty good, perfect for cooler weather! My least favorite was the crawfish bites out of what we ordered, but it was still delicious and fresh. This is my 4x eating here and I really enjoyed it! I'm a crawfish freak, and I love seafood! The crawfish tails with your choice of seasoning. The crawfish pho with a nice add of spicy, and the crawfish empanadas are killer. (These are a hot commodity so they don't always have them) The atmosphere is a take out type, like order and choose a seat. Cover the table with paper and throw it all away after you make yourself a mess. lol Prices aren't bad and apparently this is a chain...definitely worthy of a shot though. 9/10 read more

The guy who took our order was super sweet & respectful... only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that he told me there was nothing available that was on our right side of the menu which was the all the pho, and rice & noodles... which is what my husband came for the pho... as we were sitting there, the owner walks in, sits at the bar and brought out a bowl of pho ‍ like Wtha heck!!! Even the sweet potato fries were soggy and I even bit into one seemed not fried and cold. Well I wasn't gonna return to take it back. I'll never try them again. Good seafood is hard to find here. The LA Crawfish locations off of Austin Hwy and SE Military have both shuttered leaving this location and after my last visit here it's clear to see why. In a seafood gumbo, there was only two pieces of sauce, 1 piece of shrimp and 1 piece of crawfish. Having ordered this before (at this location and others) this is way off base and there's usually even crab in there. The portion size is also quite a bit smaller when you do to-go even though the price is the same (this would be the argument for putting more of the seafood and sausage in to-go orders btw). The fried crawfish was okay but again quantity for price were definitely offset not in your favor. I really hope they get it together - Red Lobsters shuttering many locations as well so idk what you'll do for seafood soon here. read more

Have now gone twice. Both times recieved excellent service from the staff. The first time I had the pho. It was delicious. I added some hot sauce and requested extra cilantro. The broth which is the real test of pho, was flavorful and rich. The second visit I had the gumbo. Thick, rich and full of flavor. There was a good amount of seafood for the price ($5.99). Also had half pound of garlic shrimp with corn in the cob. My companion ordered the garlic noodles both time. She thoroughly enjoyed them. We also had beignets... they are more like beignet straws. Ok, so I went into this completely inexperienced and brand new to mud bugs. The idea of sucking on critter heads has never sat right with me. But- at the same time, I feel like maybe I've been missing out, so- ok let's give it a go. Y'all. I'm a new woman. The first time we went I ordered the shrimp, and I shit you not, I had no idea they came with eyes and legs. When the gal set the pound of food down in front of me, my eyes got wide and my jaw dropped, and as soon as she walked away I whispered to my dude, "babe, they have eyes". ...ok so, it took me a minute to overcome this hahaha. They had limited menu items and the food quality was terrible for the price we paid. $60 for 3 little crab legs that were rubbery. We sent them back and they came out still rubbery and tasting like fish oil as opposed to sweet crab. We also ordered crawfish and eggs with our bag and they said "they didn't hear us".
