This morning I had a Brazilian sugaring appointment with Grace who is an absolute angel. I travel for work and I don't always get to go to my usual spot for sugaring. Found this location on yelp walking distance with good reviews and decided to give it a try. I've had a bad sugar experience in the past in another state so although reviews are great I was still nervous. Well I am pleased to say that this was such a comfortable experience and Grace has such professional table side manner with her clients. She also took great attention to detail to get every hair possible and groom the landing strip perfectly. You can tell the team also has good energy and everyone is friendly. Also note the room is really cool which I like cause hair removal can be spicy, haha. The aftercare they had used is not perfumey either so its all kind to your yoni. :) read more

I went in for my first spray tan, changed my appointment time three times, asked a gazillion questions via phone (thanks Leila), via text and in person (thanks Alyssa), yet I still did the one thing I wasn't supposed to: spill water on myself. I tried 2 different ladies who did my tans and both of them did perfectly fine I would Deffinatly go back and recommend them to whoever is looking for a very good quality tan. I love how many locations they have so when I lived east side it was easy to go to their Pasadena location and now being back on the west side, I go to Beverly Hills. Super convenient to book online, a great deal with the membership, and everyone is really nice, efficient, and I'm in and out pretty quickly, so all to say it makes my life easier. The product has come a LONG way. Been a S+B customer for almost 10 years. I used to get very orange. Now, the different levels really allow for the perfect shade. Also, the poses have definitely been perfected. The old Santa Monica location used to be so dirty all the time, didn't put clean towels down between clients so your feet would absorb so much solution and end up 10 shades darker than your body. BH is always immaculately clean. It's great, reliable and I definitely recommend to friends. read more

I tried this place for the first time a couple months ago. They didn't tell me that I shouldn't be on antibiotics when scheduling the appointment over the phone for sugaring and I was in the worst pain and felt burning. The esthetician said it's not normal but she continued as I had no choice since my trip was in the morning. The esthetician was aggressive and pulled hard and it felt like my skin was coming off. Thankfully it didn't but I did feel a bad burning feeling, needed lots of breaks, and my skin was bleeding. I'm not sure if she was new and didn't know what she was doing or why my experience was so horrible. By the end of the session they wanted to over charge me and save my cc on file. I didn't agree to save my card. They said I get a free service for next time but I won't be back. Also staff at the front desk and esthetician were very rude. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My first visit was okay, but my spray tan only lasted 3 days. However I went in for a complementary second visit and she completely messed up the tan. Weird marks everywhere, and it looked very unnatural. I called them the next day too and they just said to text them photos, but no one even replied to the photos I sent or even offered to fix it. Came here for a spray tan. From a customer service and professionalism perspective, the company 10/10. My tan was done by the store manager, I didn't catch her name. She did a great job-- it was a super even spray. The only problem is that it wasn't dark enough. I did rinse after 3 hours which is definitely on the early side, but I was assured the tan would still develop. I made sure to use no hot water, no soap, no lotion, no sweating for at least 12 hours. They get a good review because the spray itself was very even, and the way they handled my complaint was extremely professional. I was contacted by Madison (or Madeleine?) at corporate within 1 day and scheduled for a complimentary re-spray at another location, and that 2nd spray was also very even. I kept it on overnight end it developed much better so I would definitely recommend keeping their formula on as long as possible before rinsing. read more

I used to go to another sugaring studio in the same area but switched to S + B because it was more affordable. I only go for Brazilians and the $49/month membership (which includes a complimentary face tan spray) allows me to get one every month at a lower rate than their typical $59. I love Grace, she is very gentle, nice, and most importantly, communicative. The studios are very clean and decorated. Took off one star because I think sugaring studios should have pillows and because one of their sugarists, Molly used a paper towel on me once. read more

I found this place online because at the last minute I decided to try sugaring and I was able to book an appointment the day before. At first I went to the wrong place and they were nice enough to honor my appointment after I apologized profusely for getting lost so the fact that they were nice and understanding set the tone for my appointment. There's only metered street parking but I got lucky and found a spot right in front. They were very welcoming and busy as I noticed other women checking in after me. I forgot the name of the person who did my wax but she noticed I was nervous and talked me through the whole process for a Brazilian. She let me know it was okay if I needed a break at any point and did a great job trying to keep me distracted with engaging conversation. Before I knew it, the appointment was over and she gave me detailed instructions for after care. If it's your first time, you'll get your second wax free! Sugaring was a much better experience than regular wax at European wax center and I wasn't sore or tender at all the next day. Everything was also very clean. Would definitely recommend and it's easy to make your appointment online as they'll send you reminders via text. read more
