I started with an online consultation, then traveled for an in-person consultation, and eventually had surgery with him. From start to finish, Dr. Kim was absolutely fantastic. I had a very specific vision in my head: I wanted a fuller chest that still looked natural on my frame and could almost feel modest at the same time. I was very nervous about ending up too large or looking overly augmented, and he understood exactly what I meant. I am now 10 months post-op and I genuinely could not be happier. He got what I wanted to a T. The size, shape, and overall look feel completely right for me, and I'm so grateful I trusted his judgment. One of the things that made the experience especially reassuring as an out-of-town patient was how personally involved he is in the entire process. He handles everything from beginning to end, and he is the person I communicate with directly. He provides his phone number and email, answers questions incredibly quickly, and continues to follow up with me regularly even this far out from surgery. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

I spent months researching this surgeon and selected him based on his credentials, despite reviews noting an arrogant bedside manner. I was willing to overlook that as long as he delivered results. Unfortunately, he did not. Pre-Op & Surgery Center: Communication was disorganized. I was emailing size preferences to his assistant up until the night before surgery. The surgery center experience itself had far too many issues to list. Complications & Surgical Errors: Three days post-op, I experienced severe pain. It took weeks for the office to see me, at which point they confirmed I had developed immediate capsular contracture (CC). My post-op medical reports revealed he failed to perform the agreed-upon capsulectomy, which directly caused the CC. Revision & Final Results: A revision months later failed to fix the issues: Size & Shape: My breasts are significantly smaller than agreed upon, out of proportion, and dropped severely--making the lift completely pointless. Ongoing Pain: I have lived with daily breast pain for over two years. Lack of Care: The office failed to call back, offer support, or invite me in to find a resolution. Second Opinions: Two top surgeons confirmed the implant pockets were created too low. I cannot afford another corrective surgery. This outcome deeply affected my daily life and personal well-being. I have been thinking about getting a breast augmentation for a long time. I have been so nervous about getting one because of different stories I have heard from friends who had them. I was recommended to Dr. Gould by a friend. I live in the Sacramento area, but was willing to fly in from out of town for a good doctor that made me feel comfortable. I started by doing a virtual consultation with Dr. Gould. This is where I was sold that I was wanted him to do my augmentation. He was so knowledgeable about the process and all of the questions I asked. I was impressed that he had even done research and written papers on some of the things that concerned me the most. He took his time with me during the consult and did not rush me off the phone. After getting off the phone with him I felt like I trusted him to do a great job. I think this is very important to have trust in who you pick to do your surgery. Dr. Gould and his staff were able to get my blood work and mammogram written up so that I could do them in my hometown before surgery. This is another reason for 5 stars! I had so many friends tell me their surgeon never required blood work or a mammogram beforehand. I felt like this was a very important step, and I am glad that Dr. Gould is so detailed. I flew in the day before surgery to do my pre-op with Dr. Gould. He sat with me and walked me through how everything was going to go the next day. He asked if I was nervous and if so what was making me nervous, then proceeded to help ease my fears. His bedside manner is like no other. The fact that he is so busy but never rushes you through the process was amazing. The day of surgery he walked me through everything once more before we went to the operating room, which helped calm me down. He also was in the room as the anesthesiologist was there prepping me. Because of COVID and not allowing your loved ones to come in with you, it was nice that he was a least in the room while they were administering the medication. I definitely didn't know what to expect after surgery. Dr. Gould had assured me that I would not be in pain just feel sore. But after talking to some friends they were in major pain after. However, Dr. Gould was right. I literally had NO PAIN!! I took all of the medication he prescribed for the first 1-2 days. But after feeling no pain, just decided Tylenol would be enough. I was back into my normal activities after a couple weeks and working out completely normal after 6 weeks. I literally LOVE the way they turned out. I highly recommend Dr. Gould if you are looking to do any plastic surgery. You will not meet a more caring, detailed, or skilled surgeon. read more

The absolute Best Surgeon in Beverly Hills Dr. Gould is very competent and thorough. He never rushed me or was too busy to answer my questions. From the very first consultation until now, he always shows empathy and care. He made me feel so comfortable and never self-conscious about anything. He is always there making sure you get the care you deserve. His bedside manner shows as he has all his team behind him, supporting him like his nurse Jasmin, she along with him goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best possible. Surgeries, although they are elective you are in a vulnerable position and having that reassurance of feeling cared for and taken care of is priceless. I think he really cares about his patients, and he wants them to be happy, and get the best results they can possibly get. He takes pride in his work. I am very pleased with both my surgeries, and I can only trust him with my body and my life. He did his famous Tummy Tuck, ( Painless and Drainless) back in April 2022 and in October 2023 I had Lipo 360, and fat transfer to my hips and buttocks. I'm just writing to share my wonderful experience with Dr. Gould. It was like all of a sudden, I did not recognize myself in the mirror anymore. Within a year, my face had gone to hell. I would not participate in Zoom calls for meetings as I simply could not bear to look at my face. I had begun to research and interview doctors to see if they resonated with what I wanted, which most importantly for me, was to not look like I had anything done. I wanted a natural result as my biggest fear was for someone to look at me and say: Oh My God...what did she do to her face. Doctor Gould was my 3rdconsult and I had one more scheduled after that. When I completed my consult with him and saw his facial before and afters.....I knew I was done looking. After I was 5 weeks post op, I was in his office and he showed me my pictures from Before and what was the 5 weeks out. When my brain and eyes registered the photos, I had this involuntary rush of emotion that just poured out of my eyes. I actually couldn't stop crying for a bit of time because I was shocked at just how much better I looked. I just hugged him, and cried...lol....I am now almost 8 weeks post op and the best part is that I no longer hate what I see in the mirror. I no longer cover my camera in meetings and I actually FaceTime. And the best part is when someone says: You look so pretty! Haha. I am looking forward to the magic 3rd month. Dr. Daniel Gould is a fabulous surgeon and doctor. You can tell he really cares about his patients and wants them to look and feel great. Dr Gould and his entire staff made the process so easy. Carmen was just a text away to answer any of my questions while I was at home resting. She always responded promptly to any of my question. My results are awesome and my care was just terrific. From the surgery to the after care you can't beat it. My face is part of my job and it is a very important part of my work. Dr. Gould turned back the clock to a younger me without looking fake or artificial or looking like a different person. In fact it is so natural most people knew there's something different but can't really figure it out. Before my current profession I was a commercial artist with a degree in fine art and I know what is aesthetically pleasing. I can't recommend Dr. Daniel Gould highly enough. Dr. Gould performed an abdominoplasty (Tummy tuck) surgery on me. Saying Dr. Gould and his staff are fabulous is an understatement. For the last few years I have worked on losing 70 pounds which left me with a lot of loose skin. I interviewed many surgeons and it was only Dr. Gould that I would trust with my surgery. I had a tummy tuck, breast reduction, 360 liposuction and fat transfer. His surgical approach has been perfected for the most beautiful outcome without uncomfortable drains. He has a sophisticated approach to pain management. I had zero pain, yep, I said it zero pain! Dr. Gould is an excellent plastic surgeon. I came to him a year ago to discuss whether he would be able to revise work done by another plastic surgeon. I was leaning toward breast implant removal and lift after three unsuccessful, back-to-back surgeries. My initial consultation with Dr. Gould was by phone, after sending in photos and a history. He spent time reviewing my case and answering any questions I had. He was cautious in his approach and said that I should wait a year prior to doing anything. I met with him in person last July, and he felt he could deliver a good result whatever I decided to do. I booked my surgery for December. WOW! Dr. Gould delivered. He encountered much beyond just dropped implants: it turns out my breast tissue had traveled down my abdominal wall AND my prior surgeon had punctured one of my implants sometime in the 19 months I had them. Dr. Gould skillful attended to it all. I LOVE my explanted breasts. He even did a fat transfer to add some volume. I had some bad scarring previously, so Dr. Gould also has been using state-of-the-art techniques to aid in healing scars from within, and plans to use lasers soon to reduce them further. Beyond loving the result, I was comfortable with Dr. Gould from the first consult, and always feel respected, by him and his team. If I could give Dr. Gould a 10 star review I would! I travel quite a bit and I researched plastic surgeons from Dubai to Spain to Mexico and various locations in the U. S. Some might say I am a bit excessive about research but especially when it comes to surgery and my face it warrants it. I wanted someone who REALLY knew what they were doing and actually cared, not only about the results but about my well being. Dr Gould is all that and more. Not only is he highly educated ( we're talking a PhD folks), he sincerely cared and took his time, before, during and after the procedure. He did not cut and say good bye. My expectations were not only met, they were exceeded by his kindness, attention to detail and his desire to let me know what was going on at every step of the journey. I have had friends who had the same procedures as I did, with other surgeons, and they looked like they had been tortured and did not see their surgeon at any point after, just an assistant. I am 21 years old and had one of Dr. Goulds painless and drainless tummy tuck done a little over 3 months ago. I lost just under 100 lbs prior to surgery and had a daughter so I was left with a lot of loose skin. I didn't believe that a "painless" tummy tuck would be possible. I would consider my recovery uncomfortable but not necessarily painful. The most pain I felt was probably a 5 at 1 day post op when he explained that during this period there is a slight delay in the internal numbing medication. From that point forward, my pain was never above a 3. The recovery for me felt like a breeze. I was walking almost completely upright at about 9 days post op and felt back to normal around 3 weeks post op. Every one of the staff members was amazing to say the least. They were there for me before, during and after this procedure. They patiently answered all of my questions and concerns regardless of how many times I reached out. Dr. Gould made me feel safe from the moment I talked to him on the phone. He took the time to help calm me down on the morning of surgery and address all of my worries. I will continue to recommend Dr. Gould to everyone. The entire experience was far better than I could have ever imagined because of him, his technique and his staff. I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Gould: Deep face and neck lift, breast lift with implant exchange and abdominoplasty with a hernia repair and I could not be happier! I knew on the first consultation that Dr. Gould was the surgeon for me. Every step of the process was explained and all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I came to see him from NC so I also needed some guidance on my recovery. Not only is he a skilled surgeon but his follow up care is second to none. He personally comes to check on you in an aftercare facility that has round the clock nurses caring for you. His staff checks on you also so that you never feel forgotten after the surgery. I experience very little pain and actually stop taking pain meds after the second day. The results exceeded my expectations as they are very natural, balanced and exactly what I was hoping for. After losing just under a hundred pounds and keeping it off for over a year, I decided to take the last step and have the skin that was literally sagging off of my body removed through a circumferential body lift. Although I had visited a couple of surgeons in my own state of Arizona, I was fortunate enough to come across some reviews on the Marina Plastic Surgery Group in Marina del Rey, California and specifically Dr. Dan Gould. After a couple of phone calls with this doctor I knew I had found someone highly skilled and that he had the communication skills to really explain the process, as well as the ability to genuinely care about his patient. I have not looked back. The results were amazing and throughout the process I felt incredible support by the staff from the front office to the nurse assistants on through to the doctors who were assisting the surgery and of course with Dr. Dan Gould himself. I met Dr Daniel Gould over a year ago to get some Botox and Juvederm fillers and I could tell right away that this doctor knew what he was doing and was a cut above any other doctor I had seen before for these procedures. I was thinking of a facelift at the time and was a little nervous about taking this next step but after working with Dr Gould I was confident he was the doctor I wanted to do my surgery. I had a face lift and blepharoplasty on my upper eyelids and a little liposuction to the abdomen with fat transfer to my face. It has now been four months since since my lift and I can say I am truly satisfied with the excellent work Dr Gould has done. Besides being an excellent surgeon who who is very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest procedures, Dr Gould is very personable and is always willing to spend the time to discuss any questions and concerns I have. My experience with Dr. Gould was a wonderful one. I was refer to Dr. Gould's office by a dear friend of mine who had her mommy makeover over a decade ago. I've never considered cosmetic surgery in the past and since I love fitness and workout hard (5-6 days a week) I figure I could loose my belly from carrying my twins 13 years ago. Even at my fittest (in 2016-2017) I remember I was still unhappy. So I turned 50 a few months ago and with hormonal issues I got even more depressed. I decided to go for it. I met over the phone with Dr. Gould for tummy tuck consult and he was very nice and reassuring. He was never pushy and encouraged me to do all my research before proceeding. I had cesarean with my twins and it was so painful. I was very nervous and concerned about the recovery after surgery. I've watched a few of Dr. Gould's patients interview on the pain after tummy tuck and I was very impressed that their pain level was only 1-2. Where do I even start? I had consultations with four different plastic surgeons when I was on the…read morehunt to find the perfect fit for my mommy makeover after two pregnancies, including twins. I even went to my sister's plastic surgeon and he wasn't the right fit. I started my consultation journey about five months after my twins were born and I was about 30 pounds heavier than my usual weight. Dr. Zarrabi was not only incredibly thorough during the consult but SO SO honest. He was the only surgeon who showed me how I would look if I went into the procedure being heavier than my ideal weight. When asked if I was happy with how I would look if we did the procedure now, I said no. Dr. Zarrabi was the only surgeon who was honest encourage me to try to get to my goal weight before proceeding with surgery. He was also the only surgeon to advise me that I had muscle separation in my stomach which needed repair. One year and 40 pounds later, I had my mommy makeover a week ago. Dr. Zarrabi spent hours with me in multiple pre-op appointments when I couldn't decide if I wanted a breast lift or a lift with implants. Him and his staff also continuously checked in on me prior to my surgery, knowing how anxious I was because I had never gone under anesthesia. He even ensured I had the best anesthesiologist to ease my anxiety. Following the surgery, he called me multiple times from his cell phone even FaceTiming me when I told him I had low blood pressure to check my incisions to make sure everything looked okay. From the very first meeting, though surgery, aftercare and follow-ups, everyone has been supportive, encouraging, and available to answer any and every little question I've had. And while Dr. Galanis won't admit it, he is a true artist. But not only that, he listens, which for me was key. He cared about what I wanted. I had very specific goals for my surgieres and I feel like he absolutely nailed it. Equally important to his skills as a surgeon, his affable personality made what could have been an awkward and vulnerable situation, easy and encouraging. All of this validated that this was the right path for me. As a menopausal woman who for the past two years, was suddenly feeling like her body betrayed her with shocking weight gain, I was looking at a body I didn't recognize, and most certainly wasn't happy with.
