Starting off I'm a mom of three so the girls definitely needed some work ! I got my lollipop lift (do not recommend! Unfortunately, I was never told that a breast lift might be necessary to achieve the look I wanted. After surgery, I ended up with issues that weren't there before: a pointy shape on one side, a puffy areola, and a very noticeable, thick incision. So please do not take these reviews lightly. After years of suffering at the hands of Dr. Barrett and his team's work, I can no longer, in good conscience, not share my story. The picture attached to this post is my lips after Dr. Barrett injected them with what he claims to simply be "Juvaderm." I have asked for my medical records multiple times, and it wasn't until I threatened to file a complaint with the board that his team finally sent an in-comprehensive file. They refused to specify what type of Juvederm product I was injected with despite my horrible reaction to it. After seeing countless dermatologists, trying multiple topical steroids, and taking several tests for bacterial and fungal infections (all of which came back negative.), my dermatologist is certain I was injected with something not intended for my lips and that the lesions on my lips and decay of flesh are my bodies response to a foreign substance that should not have been injected in me. The key issue we are trying to solve now is how to remove the product. But, without honest medical records, I will never know what I was injected with and, therefore, will not know what my options are to remove the product. I am exhausted from fighting this battle. I never asked for a refund or for his office to pay my medical bills; I simply wanted a comprehensive medical record so I could show my dermatologist what I was injected with. This was at my dermatologist's insistence, but Dr. Barrett's office will not comply. It's like I'm in a horror film. I'm literally disfigured from this, and they won't even tell me what exactly they injected in me so I can try to heal. He was so comforting and told me the decision was totally in my hands and there was no rush or pressure to move forward if I was not comfortable. Regardless he gave a very thorough exam and explained what things would look like should I decide to move forward with the procedure through him. I also was really trying to avoid having a vertical incision which I had heard from other surgeons I would need. He was able to assure me he could do it without any vertical scar or incision. I ended up deciding to just get it done and over with since I knew I DID need to repair my hernia regardless with him or a general surgeon. I took a leap and was on his operating table just one month after my consultation. They got me in early when I explained how nervous I was and just wanting to get it over with (lol). My surgery went so smooth and they were so kind to my mom at every appointment she accompanied me to. He personally called me a couple times after my procedure to check in when he knew we were driving home and my first morning home they had flowers from a local flower shop delivered to my house with a sweet card. I am not famous, not and influencer, and have no background with them. I am a regular mom from a small town multiple hours from them and they treated me top tier. All the staff was so kind and responsive anytime I had questions or sent an email on the portal. I am now 5 months post op and am seriously loving my results and my scar is looking amazing and super low. I would not recommend Dr. Yamin for Botox treatment. I felt like this was a money grab for him. This was my first time (I was 29 at the time) and I went with my mom who is 55 years old. I told him I wanted baby Botox that was very subtle especially since it was my first time. He told me I would need 50 units on my forehead and around my eyes for my crows feet. This is my first time so I said okay and had him inject me. My mom went next and he told her the same thing. I thought that's weird that we got the same amount of Botox since my mom had a lot more wrinkles that I did. Anyways, after 2 weeks my forehead was completely frozen and it dropped. Oh Dr Barrett the HELL he has put me and my family through. I went in for a silicon removal and a fat transfer, which he liposuction my upper back and my stomach. My hemoglobins levels dropped to 6 and none of the staff or nurses decided to check my hemoglobins levels before sending me home. The following day I was rushed to the Hospital due to low blood count. The hospital gave me 3 pints of blood and Dr Barrett contacted the hospital and told them " discharge him because he is my patient" after I was discharged he wanted me back in his clinic for massages on my stomach, which clearly did not work because my skin ended up dying. He had to rush me to surgery 3 times to remove the dead skin from Butt. Due to the surgery he left me with an extremely big open wound. I am no longer under his care, because this is out of his hands already. But please do yourself a favor and find a different Doctor. Do your research and do not make the same mistake that almost cost my life!! Don't be foolish, as I was. Do your due diligence when selecting your surgeon. Don't believe reviews. I do wish my breasts were a bit bigger since we talked about going 650 to 700 cc which I was so excited about since I model and am curvy only to get 550 and 600. I do notice some of the skinner girls getting about 400 cc and questioned sometimes why I got smaller then expected . The scar is not noticeable and the staff/ building is very clean and amazing but I paid 10k to get my large breasts to fit my curvier figure only to find them dropped a bit and look smaller then I wanted. Breast augmentation revision surgery isn't a simple procedure and requires an experienced, highly skilled surgeon to perform this delicate work. Knowing this we searched statewide and thought we'd found the perfect doctor in the San Diego area. We paid almost $30k and I walked away with my leaky implant replaced, but I had some odd lumps and scars in my left breast. It looked like I could see the sutures under my skin. I was also having issues healing and spent so many nights not being able to sleep that I ended up actually hallucinating one night. We ended up making repeated emergency trips back to see the surgeon who repeatedly told me things looked great! (Trust what your body is telling you! Things were not great!) I had my breast augmentation and unilateral lift two weeks ago and I felt inspired to come on here and give a very well-deserved review. This is NOT an incentivized review whatsoever, I just genuinely felt the need to share because I dug deep searching for the right plastic surgeon and would love it if this helps anyone else. I have been researching this surgery for over two years and did quite a few consultations with a variety of surgeons and felt the most comfortable with Dr. Barrett's approach, eye for detail, and amazing bedside manner. Also, his staff has been incredibly helpful and responsive every step of the way. I can pick up on someone's energy pretty quickly and he just exudes the kind of care, confidence, passion, and kindness that I was looking for in a surgeon. I traveled out of state to go to him because it really mattered to me that I went to someone I could fully trust. If I had gone to someone so-so, I would have had a ton of anxiety leading up to my surgery and after. However, because I chose someone who truly knows what they are doing and does beautiful work, I felt excited! I run pretty anxious naturally and the morning of my surgery I had zero anxiety, just excitement. Everyone in the office/medical team is so kind and caring and Dr. Barrett was amazing at reviewing my desired outcome with me before the surgery. I had a breast augmentation by Dr. Lee at Barrett Plastic Surgery 3 weeks ago. I have wanted to have this surgery done my whole life and have never been happier or more comfortable in my own body. Dr. Lee was so transparent through the whole process starting from my consultation phase all the way through my post-op phase. At my consultation, he made sure to thoroughly explain the procedure and prioritized helping me find a a realistic goal size in order to achiever a natural-looking outcome. I ended up having 335cc implants put in through a periareolar incision and placed in a dual-plane manner partially under my pectoral muscle to give me natural looking breasts. Through the whole surgical process, he was so caring and attentive. I was really scared in the few days prior to surgery and he was readily available to speak with me over the phone to answer all of my questions, reiterate the risks, and reassure me that I was making the right decision.
