I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr.Ghavami. From the very beginning through every step of the process, the level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail has been truly exceptional. I had my primary rhinoplasty about a year and a half ago, which included correcting my septum and improving my breathing by widening my right airway. The results were both beautiful and functional. At one point, I noticed a very slight bump along the cartilage on the side of my upper nose that was bothering me. When I brought it to his attention, he immediately took it seriously--without any hesitation or pushback--and simply said, "Let's take care of it." He promptly scheduled me for a minor revision, which spoke volumes about his integrity and commitment to his patients. More recently, I underwent that revision under local anesthesia, and the experience only reinforced my trust and confidence in him. What truly sets Dr. Ghavami apart is his bedside manner. I traveled from North Carolina with full confidence Dr. Ghavami could turn my nose into a more refined version of itself. I researched his before and after photos and admired what he has done on droopy tips. I had a deviated septum that healed incorrectly so he did a revision rhino and septoplasty. It cost more than a regular rhino and post op care was more intense, but let me tell you.. it's been 4 weeks and look at the results! You get what you pay for so only do the consult if you are serious about booking because they fill up their schedule very quickly. Stay in a hotel close to office because Ubers are expensive. Request the post op medicine sheet in advance in case you can pack things like ice packs, q tips, lozenges, travel pillow for sleep in advance- Beverly Hills rite aid is pricy. I feel happier every day looking in the mirror and I can breathe and smell things so much better. I feel like I am getting so much more oxygen. The nurses in the office were angels, they gave me so much confidence and made me feel comforted when I was nervous with all the swelling. I loved how they showed me the best way to tape my nose at night, it had drastically improved my swelling. These after photos are only 4 weeks post op!! Medication pickup at pre op appointment was easy, right down the street from office. The surgery floor is state of the art and clean. The anesthesiologist was so kind and I was not anxious at all. I was SO nervous for this massive 10 day trip staying in a hotel to heal, but now that it's all over. I would do it 100 times over again seeing these results. I probably would have added an extra 2 days to heal because taking the 3 flights home is a lot of pressure on the nose. No idea why there's so many negative reviews (even one is surprising). After reading a few, it seems that many of these critics never saw Ashkan Ghavami nor underwent a procedure here. Not to discredit any individual's (poorly articulated) experience, but these accounts reek of Beverly Hills' B.S. From consultation through surgery and recovery, to even recently--several years after rhinoplasty--I've been beyond impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, talent, and kindness of Dr. Ghavami. In addition to being a Yelper who strives to be as unbiased as possible, I am INCREDIBLY picky and particular about the outcome of my aesthetic procedures (whether that's hair color or something as dramatic as *gulp* the nose job I went to Ghavami for). And this is neither hair color nor designer jeans: this is my FACE. Since I always read forms before signing and add in my own edits, I even wrote in on this office's waiver: "If you ruin my nose, I can and will sue you." Ruin my nose he did not. Change my life he did. This is exactly the way I've always wanted my nose to look. What's great was later asking friends from high school why they hadn't complimented my change, to which they responded, "Oh, you had something done?" This is the indication of true art. Extra applause for the fact that I wanted my upper lip injected at the time, and while Ashkan Ghavami said this was possible, he encouraged me to wait until after my nosejob. I'm so glad I did. I scheduled a laser treatment with Jessica. I'm a rock climber, but I also work in customer service. I love being out in the sun, but my skin texture needed some help. Jessica recommended a combination of Moxie and Halo treatments to address my nasal pores and improve my overall skin texture. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I left feeling very satisfied. Jessica explained the treatment process thoroughly. She used a numbing cream to minimize any discomfort. I played my playlist while she worked, and the entire procedure took about an hour. Jessica also recommended that I follow a good skincare regimen for a month or two before the treatment to maximize the results. I used one of the recommended cleansers and moisturizers regularly, and I noticed a significant improvement in my skin even before the treatment. After the procedure, I took a couple of weeks to recover, staying out of the sun and moisturizing consistently. When I returned to the office, the staff commented that my skin looked five years younger. I was thrilled with the results. Jessica and the entire staff were wonderful. As a 62 year old male, I don't do much cosmetically. However, I was noticing many age spots on my face and skin and my skin complexion looked tired. After a consultation with aesthetic nurse Jessica, she recommended Halo, BBL and Morpheus treatments for different parts of my face and arms. Jessica performed the treatments and she was amazing. Immediately after the treatment my face was fairly red with some swelling. Within a few days I started looking better and after about a week I was extremely happy with the results. I saw an improvement in my skin tone and tightness. All of the spots on my face were gone. My arms were much better but I am planning a follow up treatment to completely get rid of the spots. Overall an extremely worthwhile treatment experience. Recommended for men my age who can see their skin is looking less youthful than they would like or who have loose skin, age spots, or all of the above. I read the negative reviews & somehow still fell for that Instagram page. I trusted Dr. Ghavami every step of the way and I am paying for it now. My first surgery was loaded with complications. Horribly placed incisions that didn't close for months. Major dents, bumps and irregularities that Dr. Ghavami said required additional painful and expensive treatments. Treatments such as; Morpheus, Potenza, PRP & PRF injections (at my cost) and bridge rasping / dermabrasion, which were extremely painful and terrifying experiences. Communication was always a nightmare, begging to be heard most of the time. After several painful and traumatizing follow ups, Dr. Ghavami admitted that I needed a "minor revision" to readjust the sharp tip graft that was thinning out my skin and to correct the irregularities that were rapidly getting worse. The graft edges were extremely visible at this point and my botched nose job was a dead giveaway at first glance. I was extremely hesitant but desperate to look normal again. I agreed to the "minor revision". The "minor revision" turned out to be an even bigger mistake. I woke up to what felt like a major botched job. My heart completely broke when I saw myself in the mirror. I had unexplained sutures and what looked like injuries in places I shouldn't. I've now been told by several other top doctors that these are signs that my skin was injured when it was lifted during the surgery. Not only did I now have horrific scars all over my nose, but my tip was dark purple for months, SO SCARY! My nose was over shortened, which we never even discussed, my nostrils extremely notched. This was the most terrifying experience of my life. I still have recurring nightmares. I felt I lost my identity, I no longer recognized myself in the mirror. I had to cover all of my mirrors and dim lights in my house. I couldn't stand my reflection and the regret I felt for letting myself fall for this. My house became my prison. To this day, I refuse to let most friends and family see me like this. I eventually had to start seeing a psychiatrist and was put on antidepressants and heavy anxiety medication to get through my days. Every follow up visit I felt gaslit into thinking that this was all due to my skin type, which every expert I've spoken to has said that is absolutely BS. I've consulted with several dermatologists and several plastic surgeons. I'd go to my hotel room and cry after every single follow up. (I do want to recognize Kat (nurse) for being the only shoulder to cry on during my last visit. She saw the heartache and comforted me during one of the lowest moments of my life.) I will forever be grateful to her for that. Dr. Ghavami suggested nano-fat injections to help strengthen my skin enough to resist yet another "minor revision". I was expected to pay for the anesthesia yet again but after I completely broke down crying in the office, he offered to do the nano-fat for free. I was scheduled to do that in September but I finally came to my senses. I just can't continue to force myself to trust this dangerous process. Sadly for me, the horrible scars are permanent. The dents, bumps, crookedness and the tip graft edges are ridiculously visible again and getting worse rapidly (this was the whole reason we did the minor revision). The bridge is starting to collapse on one side and I've been told my breathing will likely eventually be affected by this. I have pain along my bridge daily. I've brought up the pain several times but it does not seem to be a priority, so I had to start seeking help elsewhere. I've dedicated the last few months to consulting with top revision docs all over the country. Unfortunately, they have all made the same disappointing observations. I won't mention names or repeat any of their comments, out of respect for their community. Some have turned me down as a patient, due to fear of what mess is underneath. Luckily, there are true experts who are dedicated to cleaning up rhinoplasty disasters. I was extremely patient, the perfect patient if you will, I never missed a follow up even though I live in a different state. I did everything Dr. Ghavami recommended. I recently gave him one last chance to do the right thing and at the very least give me a refund to help cover my next, more complex and more expensive revision elsewhere. I was told they have a no refund policy. I asked them to reconsider but to no-surprise, no reply. Not only is my case now more complex and more expensive, but I have horrific scars that I will have to live with for the rest of my life. I'd give anything in the world to take this mistake back. I made an appointment with Lena. I didn't have anything really in mind but knew I needed something for a boost on my face. I never had any procedures done in my life. Choosing Dr. Ghavami for my rhinoplasty was the biggest regret of my life. Despite numerous warning signs, I proceeded with the operation to avoid losing my deposit. The first indication that something was amiss came during the consultation, which lasted no more than three minutes. The consultant outlined his desired changes to my nose and attempted to persuade me to get a chin implant. Right before my surgery, we had the final conversation. He started writing notes. While he was writing, I tried to catch a glimpse. He looked at me and sarcastically said' " I went to med school for 8 years to understand this terminology trust me you won't understand. He suggested placing a rib graft on my nasal bridge to make my nose appear thinner and more defined. I conveyed to him that I did not want significant alterations; I actually liked my nose and merely desired a smaller version of it. It was crucial for me to still recognize myself. He assured me, looking me in the eyes, that he would not make drastic changes and that it was better to do less initially, as I could always return for more. He also mentioned he would refrain from placing a rib graft between my eyes. A week later his medical assistant took off my cast. And to horror, I was completely unrecognizable. My nose was very long . However, I was more horrified by what his medical assistant told me. She mentioned that due to his busy schedule, he has another doctor assist him with surgeries. She continued, explaining that when patients are offered an alternative doctor, they often decline, insisting that only Dr. Ghavami perform their surgeries. She revealed that unbeknownst to them, the other doctor conducts the rhinoplasty, and they wake up very pleased with the results. I was shocked and my look of concern did not go unnoticed. She quickly added, "Of course, Dr. Ghavami is always there, overseeing the entire procedure." I cannot confirm the veracity of that statement, but I hope it is not true. I want to ask the office manager if someone else did my surgery but I don't believe I would get an honest answer. When I requested my surgery report, the office manager inquired about the reason for my request. I mentioned to her that there was noticeable swelling between my eyes, and I was unsure if it was due to swelling or the rib graft. After several months of persistence, I received the report. My nose has five grafts. The nasal tip, columella, bridge, and radix were all reconstructed with donor rib grafts. Additionally, a septal extension graft was used to elongate my nose. My original nasal bones were filed down, and the cartilage was removed. The nasal bones were aggressively narrowed, and the reconstructed nasal tip pointed downward. My nasal sills were cut out (look this up) so my nose looked operated on. I was not informed nor did I consent to these extensive changes. The result does not align with my ethnicity or gender, I now have a masculine appearance. Moreover, the alteration of my nose's starting point above my eyes has significantly changed their appearance. My eyes now seem to protrude and stretch out, giving them an unnatural look. I am dealing with a radix deformity. The changes to my eyes have been more difficult than those to my new nose. Looking in the mirror and not recognizing my eyes have been the hardest part. I'm aware that I can never fully recover my old nose since it was permanently altered too much. However, I'm hopeful that I can restore my eyes to their previous state. If a doctor can correct my eyes, I will post pictures of what he did to my eyes. Currently, I wear glasses and a mask when I leave my house, so my coworkers are unaware of my appearance. I've received numerous negative remarks about my new appearance from family and friends, to the point where I prefer to cover my face. It's not that my family opposes surgery; in fact, they loved the rhinoplasty my sister got years ago. I'm simply exhausted from having to explain why my face looks entirely different. I have even been asked whether my medical chart was accidentally exchanged with that of another patient due to my completely unrecognizable appearance. It's unsettling not to recognize your own eyes in the mirror. Only those who have experienced this can truly understand. If you are reading this and haven't had surgery yet, consider yourself fortunate. You still have time to make a choice. I've observed additional concerns. He does not exclusively specialize in facial plastic surgery; he also performs various other surgical procedures on the body. Unlike many other doctors, he does not provide 3D imagery. While 3D imagery might not be perfectly accurate, it does offer a preview of potential results. Given that a primary rhinoplasty costs $25,000, one might expect Dr. Ghavimi to invest in such technology. DO NOT GO HERE..... read the reviews ladies. If you are considering getting a rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty from Dr. Ghavami, please RUN! 1. Does not genuinely care about his patients. You can tell right after the consultation. (I didn't listen to my intuition because I was so eager to have a different nose...NOT WORTH IT) 2. He took off way more cartilage than I expected, he did not have my consent to do so. 3. I have breathing issues now, most likely a hole in my septum because of the way I breathe now. 4. Aesthetically, he messed up my nose. He made it way too narrow and butchered my nostril. There is a dent in the side of my nostril, he tried to claim it was there before. It wasn't. 5. It looks like I had plastic surgery done, which was the LAST thing I wanted. It's been over a year now and it has been really tough. It has taken a lot in me to write this review. I am not writing this review for myself, but for others. I would HATE for another person to go here and have their nose ruined and feel full of shame and embarrassment. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at other doctors... especially a doctor who CARES about you. That is the key. He is money hungry and has caused many women (& men) such pain. The level of professionalism leading up to my consultation was already bad. The red flags were there but I ignored them because I was convinced that I wanted my procedure to be done by this doctor. If your gut is telling you this might not be a good team to work with, listen to yourself. Don't let the IG fame fool you. Writing a review like this is out of my comfort zone but, as someone who has ignored this type of behavior before (reason why I need a revision rhinoplasty), I thought I should write something. Luckily, I did not get far with Dr. Ghavami's team as I was flat out ignored after my consultation was left incomplete. I had a virtual consultation that had to be cut short because they started over an hour late, with little to no notice. Although I had carefully scheduled the rest of my busy day around this appointment, I could not finish the consultation. I had another work related event I just could not miss. I was irritated (I had been waiting 8 months for this appointment) but was told the patient manager, Nancy, would follow up with me the next week. A month later and I am being completely ghosted. Nancy does not bother to respond to my emails or follow up with me. The receptionists assured me they have brought my emails to her attention but, again, no response. Definitely feels intentional. Maybe it is because I am not an IG model...or maybe it is because I did not want their office to record or publish my images on social media, but no one deserves being treated and ignored like this. Not worth it. If I am being treated like this for a consultation, imagine what the pre-op, post-op, and follow-up treatments would be like. I do not even want to think about the treatment I would receive if anything wrong happened post-op. If they are responsive and kind to you, great. I am happy for you. But, if you start seeing treatment like this, run. Dr Ghavami might be great but I truly believe that the staff experience is the direct reflection of the doctor experience. I went to Dr Ghavami three years ago for a rhinoplasty. Following the recovery process, I went back to get my cast removed and noticed a scar where he did his incision on my right nostril. Unfortunately, this scar did not heal, and it is very visible. I showed it to him, and he said he would re-open it so that it would heal. The process of him reopening my nose was very painful, and he found a stitch left in that spot from the surgery. Unfortunately, this procedure did not heal my scar and I am still left with it. I really wish he had more concern for his patients, as I felt rushed every visit :( read more

Where do I even begin... I had my rhinoplasty on July 27th, 2022. It's been my dream, but I was too scared of the surgery itself. It took me 10 years to finally make a decision to get my nose done. I've researched different surgeons and when I saw Dr. Ghavami's works on instagram, I knew that he would be my surgeon. My consultation went great and I loved how honest and knowledgeable Dr. Ghavami was, he explained me everyting I needed to know. I trusted his professional opinion and scheduled my surgery right away. My surgery went even better than I expected! Everyone was very professional and supportive. Dr. Ghavami works with amazing staff! The anesthesiologist did a great job and I don't even remember how I fell asleep. My surgery went smoothly. The recovery went very well, a few bruises and some swelling, nothing scary, no major pain. I actually enjoyed it :) Some time to relax :) You just have to be careful and follow all the instructions. It's been 6 months since my rhinoplasty, and the results are spectacular. My diamond shaped nose looks natural, very cute and proportional. I still look like myself, I can breathe and smell. The work Dr. Ghavami did exceeded my expectations! I also did post rhinoplasty facial, RF Microneedling and MOXI/BBL facial treatments at GPS Aesthetics. When it comes to your face / body, you cannot bargain. Dr. Ghavami is worth every penny and then some. First and foremost, whether you are a "celebrity" or a "normal" person, Dr. Ghavami treats every patient with the same amount of respect, attention, and consideration as he would a "VIP". With that being said: I am not a model, an actress, or a Instagram influencer, and Dr. Ghavami treated me like absolute gold from start to finish. Dr. Ghavami listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, and set realistic expectations for my results. While setting realistic expectations, he managed to exceed them. I had two surgeries with Dr. Ghavami: a revision rhinoplasty and a breast augmentation. My primary rhinoplasty was done by a different doctor, and I had less than acceptable results. My nose was not straight, symmetrical, or complimentary to my face. Following this procedure, I had fallen and hit my nose and was even more self conscious than I was before. As soon as my cast was off at Dr. Ghavami's office- there was a dramatic and amazing improvement. (Picture attached) My breasts... there are really no words. I didn't want to look like somebody who "got a boob job". The breasts that Ghavami gave me, truly look like I was born with them. They fit my body: they are not too big or too small (he chose the perfect size for me that compliments my body and frame). I was hoping for a tear drop shape, which was exactly what he delivered. I had lunch my mother shortly after my procedures (she is an attorney and obviously trained to pay attention to detail). Well.. 10 days after my surgeries, she didn't have any clue that I had my nose and/or or breasts done, simply because of how natural my results were. All she said was that I "looked beautiful and refreshed." I could go on forever, but in closing: Dr. Ghavami is nothing short of incredible. I have and will continue to recommend him to all of my closest family and friends. Not only is Dr. Ghavami great, but so is his entire staff. One word crosses my mind when I met Dr Ashken Ghavami and that is "wow". He's an amazing doctor words cannot describe. I have never met such a wonderful team who makes you their number one priority. I did my rhinoplasty almost four weeks ago and my swelling has been going down even more since I've been going to Dr Ghavami office for the lymphatic massage. I've seen a big difference on the swelling, and the girls that work there are phenomenal. Wonderful experience all around, from the initial consultation, pre op, surgery and post op. Dr Ghavami and his staff have made me feel comfortable throughout every step of the process. I would 100% recommend Dr. Ghavami for ANY of the procedures that he performs and let me tell you why. I had a revision rhinoplasty & septoplasty done by him and my experience was amazing and exactly as advertised. The doctor did his magic in the operating room and the rest is up to me and my body to heal. I'm only 8 weeks post op, revisions take longer to heal and thick oily skin doesn't help either. My final result is a ways away but I'd be satisfied with the current state because it looks A LOT better (I'd say amazing but then how would I describe the final result ) and the breathing is next level! The team over there is fun friendly and helpful. I could always count on my patient care coordinator Chammy to address any concerns throughout the whole process! From pre op (medications, COVID testing, etc) to immediately after surgery (when you call because you think you're bleeding too much ) and even during recovery to guide you through your dietary, skin care, and supplemental decision making.
