My review is overdue, but I am only now feeling strong enough to share my experience after dealing with severe depression caused by these results. I spent months researching this surgeon and selected him based on his credentials, despite reviews noting an arrogant bedside manner. I was willing to overlook that as long as he delivered results. Unfortunately, he did not. Pre-Op & Surgery Center: Communication was disorganized. I was emailing size preferences to his assistant up until the night before surgery. The surgery center experience itself had far too many issues to list. Complications & Surgical Errors: Three days post-op, I experienced severe pain. It took weeks for the office to see me, at which point they confirmed I had developed immediate capsular contracture (CC). My post-op medical reports revealed he failed to perform the agreed-upon capsulectomy, which directly caused the CC. Revision & Final Results: A revision months later failed to fix the issues: Size & Shape: My breasts are significantly smaller than agreed upon, out of proportion, and dropped severely--making the lift completely pointless. I had my first rhinoplasty in 2024. Unfortunately, I was left with an upturned, overprotected pointy nose that looked too unnatural for my face/ethnicity. My nose also had a slight collapse which made breathing more difficult. Even though I was unhappy with my results, to the point of constantly thinking about and looking at my nose in the mirror , I was still hesitant to rush into a revision as they are much more complicated and a much higher risk of complications. I don't know what I'd do If my second rhinoplasty wasn't ideal, and If I was even more unhappy with the result. I eventually decided to do my revision with Dr Rahban, and am one month post op. My nose looks AMAZING. My nose is not pointy anymore, less projected, and blends in with my face instead of overpowering it. REVISION RHINOPLASTY 2026 ~ I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Rahban. I originally had a rhinoplasty in 2019 with a surgeon I was referred to by my ENT. My initial surgery was to correct a deviated septum, and since I was already going under anesthesia, I decided to do a cosmetic rhinoplasty at the same time. I actually liked my results for a while, but after about two years I started noticing that my nose was shifting laterally to the left. After surgery, once swelling subsided, I developed significant breathing difficulties. My nose collapses inward when I inhale, and I struggle to breathe without internal nasal dilators. When I brought this to his attention, I was told this was normal and no further evaluation was offered. I strongly recommend you go to other consults to be able to see the vast difference in the level of care and fidelity you are given at a consultation. I'm not sure what sort of superpower Dr. Rahban has, but I chalk it up to be talent and integrity in his work. The feel I got from him is that he is particular in the best way, precise in every way and overall very intentional in his work and attentiveness and attention to detail. I am about 7 weeks post op and my scarring is already minimal. I cannot imagine as time goes on. Nothing but great things to say about him and the ease of my breast augmentation journey. I had never come across a surgeon who also is so intentional with post care. I have another visit at about the year mark, from when I saw him, but I saw him 3 times for my post-op appointments following my breast augmentation surgery and it was so reassuring that they still care and deem these appointments to be important for patient care. I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. I wasn't willing to skimp out on attentiveness, attention to detail, precision in scarring, and overall five star quality work so I chose Dr. Rahban. It's too bad I only have one pair of breasts or I would be back. Haha! It's been such a blessing and I am beyond grateful for the feel of my breasts, the guidance along the way to refrain from physical activity for 6-weeks. My Background I'm 5'2 110 lbs in my 30s I had my first breast augmentation in 2013 with a highly rated SF surgeon (410cc moderate profile silicone under the muscle). Unfortunately, the results were never right: I had high-riding implants that never dropped, animation deformity, tight chest pressure, poor positioning, nipples pointing downward, unbalanced upper pole, lateral displacement, implants too wide for my petite frame, and an overall top heavy appearance. I lived with these issues for 12 years. I wanted to fix these aesthetics and go larger, but still be tasteful. I was also dealing with new complications and trying to get guidance on what to do. 33 yr old male at 6'6" weighing just over 200lbs came to Dr Rady Rahban for rhinoplasty and chin augmentation. Felt necessary to mention my height & weight to validate that even at taller heights and age these desired aesthetics are still prevalent. I wanted to wait the full year to fully heal before submitting my review; i was 32 at the time of surgery however I had found and been researching Rahban for close to 10 years well before I had the money to do such things. When the time came I looked into a few other doctors, relying on reviews mostly. Rahban has many videos on social media as well as full length YouTube videos touching on his experience while giving many various examples of many different procedures that portrayed his deep understanding of his craft which was very comforting, he has a very honest vibe to his content and gives a lot of helpful tips on what and what not to do in these types of surgeries even if they're not performed by him which was consistent with my in person consultation. He did end up being my one and only consult even though I promised myself I'd atleast have one other consult given it's such a huge decision to go through with these surgeries I argued that at the very least it's worth the $300-$500 for the piece of mind when spending tens of thousands of dollars however Rahban just had a a great energy I resonated with. Very upfront and honest, confidence was very present but not overbearing. Pain levels: 7ish out of 10 I'd say maybe it was more just discomfort than pain, I'm not big on pain medication so I definitely always try to take the least amount of meds possible but definitely did need them. I will also add that I truly believe it was more so from doing both surgeries at the same time, I feel that it really wouldn't have been that bad I just did the nose. However talking, eating, drinking with tightness around chin combined with rhinoplasty discomfort was more than likely made it "painful" still was just a 7/10 pain level for me. I did my homework and used creams that helped with the bruising, overall was very minor for me. Results: 9.7/10 One of the first things Dr. Rahban told me was that no matter how well the surgery goes/how good the surgeon is, the nose will heal the way it wants to heal. He also added if any surgeon promises you perfect results it'd be a red flag, there's no way to tell it's impossible to guarantee and he actually insisted I do not go through with his surgery if I demanded a perfect result. "If you're a perfectionist, this is not for you" I happen to actually be a perfectionist, what a curse IYKYK but I still decided to go through with rhinoplasty. I knew that if after 18 years this was something I still wanted bad enough to go into debt for, a better but not "perfect" nose was what I wanted. I ended up getting "lucky" with some very good results, so far, I should say because the nose will continue to heal how it wants. Good shape, very decently straight imo which was a lot straighter than originally. About 3 months post surgery i noticed a very slight bump on the left side close to the tip caused from some cartilage. A year later it remains and on my one year follow up it's the first thing Doctor pointed out. Not sure if anyone else would catch it without me showing them. He also mentioned how the tip of my nose wants to pull to one side (his words not mine) I didn't notice but he mentioned to keep an eye on it and if it's gets worse or becomes to a point where it's unbearable he will need to go back in there to correct it. Still, very happy with my result and I am able to breathe significantly better than before which is a huge deal. The chin augmentation came out perfect as he said it would, he also confirmed that at my 1 year follow up. He also did a small fat transfer to add around the implant to keep a natural look matching my jaw line to chin. Fat transfers are also a little tricky given only a certain percent of the fat is retained. I do notice a little more "fat" slightly retained on my right side being the perfectionist that I am, again, it's a curse. No telling if that will stay or go it bothers me slightly but all faces are slightly asymmetrical. Overall I am a happy customer, happy with my result and I'd do it all over again. As a physician, I vett all physicians carefully before I consider being treated by them. There are a lot of options for plastic surgery in Los Angeles. The pre-op and post-op instructions were clear, explained thoroughly, and also in written form for reference. I would suggest you follow them to the letter for the best outcome. The recovery from this particular surgery takes time. He discussed realistic timeframes and expectations for recovery. His staff, especially his medical assistant, was encouraging and very responsive with great communication. I recall at my first follow up appointment, Dr. Rahban said, "I get an A plus, plus, plus (for the outcome of the surgery).....now your job is not to screw it up!"--an example of his sense of humor and "to the point" style. I am in my 30s and never imagined I would do any type of mommy makeover but I did and I really love the results. After having two c sections, I was dealing with an umbilical hernia and diastasis recti. Dr. Rady Rahban is very knowledgeable in these areas and he and his staff made me feel comfortable and secure. I had an umbilical hernia and diastasis recti repair along with a tummy tuck. It's been three months and I love my stomach. It's flat and it's healing so well. I do want to say that diet and exercise (months before the surgery) does play a big part in the results. After surgery, I relaxed a bit too much and started to eat more junk food than what I am used to and noticed my belly was always swollen.
