I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

Even after six reschedules, I patiently waited and agreed each time because I trusted it would be worth it. When I finally came in, the staff were friendly, and the consultation itself went great -- the doctor was very nice, professional, and clearly skilled. However, my experience with the office communication was really disappointing. After my consultation, I received the quote only five days later -- and it didn't include any breakdown of the procedures. It also listed services that I had specifically said during the consultation that I did not want. When I asked for a corrected quote and a full breakdown of what I'd actually be paying for, I never got any response. No emails, no texts, nothing. After waiting so long just to have the consultation and then more time for a proper quote that never came, I decided to move on. AND OF COURSE - NO REFUND... I ended up booking with another surgeon in the area who saw me promptly, didn't reschedule once, and provided a detailed quote the same day -- which I immediately booked and paid for.

I began contacting the clinic in September 2024 with firm intent to book a revision consultation and surgery, and I repeatedly followed all stated policies, including the required waiting period for revision cases. Despite my consistent outreach and commitment, I was never allowed to secure a consultation or place a deposit. When I was finally told I could schedule, I was informed that I would now be charged new 2026 rates -- a 71% increase -- as if I were a brand-new inquiry. At no point during the months-long communication was I advised that rates would increase this dramatically or that I could protect my quote by placing a deposit, which is standard practice elsewhere. Had this been communicated, I would have absolutely done so. The lack of transparency, compassion, and professionalism was shocking, especially given how emotionally and financially difficult revision surgery already is. While Dr. Nassif's reputation for skill and empathy is what drew me to his practice, his administrative staff treated me unfairly, wasted months of my time, and showed no willingness to take accountability. Future patients should be aware of how this office handles long-term inquiries and pricing before committing.

Her skill, precision, and honesty are unmatched, and the level of empathy that she's able to maintain throughout every single appointment is something that cannot be replicated. She also has no problem with saying no, which I think is one of the greatest traits an injector can have, and always follows up with a thorough explanation of her rationale in a way that is easily digestible. I've been going to her for over 3 years now for Dysport in different parts of my face as well as my traps, have had zero complications, and have loved how natural my results have been every time. I moved up to Norcal a year ago, but still fly down every 4-5 months to see her. Furthermore, in March, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I made the mistake of getting a touch-up with someone else in NorCal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because their approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right, as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. I even went to my sister's plastic surgeon and he wasn't the right fit. I started my consultation journey about five months after my twins were born and I was about 30 pounds heavier than my usual weight. Dr. Zarrabi was not only incredibly thorough during the consult but SO SO honest. He was the only surgeon who showed me how I would look if I went into the procedure being heavier than my ideal weight. When asked if I was happy with how I would look if we did the procedure now, I said no. Dr. Zarrabi was the only surgeon who was honest encourage me to try to get to my goal weight before proceeding with surgery. He was also the only surgeon to advise me that I had muscle separation in my stomach which needed repair. One year and 40 pounds later, I had my mommy makeover a week ago. Dr. Zarrabi spent hours with me in multiple pre-op appointments when I couldn't decide if I wanted a breast lift or a lift with implants. Him and his staff also continuously checked in on me prior to my surgery, knowing how anxious I was because I had never gone under anesthesia. He even ensured I had the best anesthesiologist to ease my anxiety. Following the surgery, he called me multiple times from his cell phone even FaceTiming me when I told him I had low blood pressure to check my incisions to make sure everything looked okay. OK so where to start... I had my initial visit with Dr. Khalil back in December of 2018 because I wanted the gyno (Gynecomastia) removed from my chest. Part of the surgery also includes liposuction of the chest area as well. I went ahead and scheduled the surgery for the first available appointment which was in January 2019. Two weeks before the surgery I called and told them I'd also like to have my lower stomach and flanks (the area on the sides/hips) lipo'd as well. I figured since I was getting my brakes done I might as well get an oil change while I was at it lol. First off, the entire office team is amazing and friendly and Dr. Khalil himself is pretty amazing. He's friendly, down to earth and funny. I told him I wanted my lower back love handles lipo'd as well and he told me "no" that I didn't need it. The morning I arrived for my surgery I was given surgery attire to change into. I posted a pic of myself that morning in the changing room prior to the surgery. I'm so glad I did because every time I look at it I can't believe the transformation. The gyno behind my nipples and the fatty deposits along the side of my chest near the armpit area was so bad (in my opinion) that I could feel the lumps and no matter how hard I worked out my chest and no matter how many spinning classes I took, I couldn't get rid of that "breast-like" look I had because of the heaviness of the glands and fatty area surrounding it. When I woke from the surgery, I was all wrapped up and dressed back in my own clothes and got into a wheel chair and escorted privately through the back door and down to the street into a car. I didn't have "pain" per say because of the medication I was given... but I was def sore from the liposuction of my chest and stomach. The hardest part is getting up from the bed or couch. I needed help that first day with getting up from the bed to use the restroom and having soup brought to me. I pretty much laid in bed and slept the rest of that first day but the next day I was up and walking around. I stayed on top of my pain killers but didn't need them after a few days. A day or two later I went back to Dr. Khalil so he could remove my wrappings and show me how everything looked. At first I thought "oh no what have I done" lol... because of the swelling and bruising and whatnot. He gave me a new compression vest to wear before leaving his office. I had to wear that for about a month. The stitches are covered by a clear bandage/tape so that I was able to shower without causing issue to the areas that had stitches. Slowly but surely the bruising and swelling started to go away and it was looking better and better every day. I was able to start working out again after a month which was nice. Two of my biggest problem areas that caused me the most insecurity were now gone so the motivation to work out/eat right/do cardio was through the roof. All of the gains finally looked good and weren't covered up by large glands hanging behind my nipples and stubborn fat on top of my lower abs which I worked on so hard but were never able to see. I also posted an after picture which was taken in August 2019. Yes I have been working out hard every day... but I know that I would not look the same had I not had the surgery. Am I happy I did this surgery? YES Am I happy with the work Dr. Khalil did? VERY MUCH SO that I've also referred friends to him. I recommend any man who needs this surgery to have it done. I'm not a huge yelper, I have to be very happy with a person or a business, which in this case I'm a happy camper. I'm 3 weeks post op, I had a (BAM) breast augmentation mestopexy, with Dr. khalil, I cannot stress how happy I am with the outcome of my surgery. I consulted with a lottttttt of surgeons, I guess I tried the rest,then I went with the best, hands down Dr. Khalil is not only a plastic surgeon, he's an artist in plastic surgery, the work, time, and precision he put in my surgery is phenomenal, considering how my breasts look before, he did a work of art, I'm so happy with the outcome, my self confidence has hit the roof, from the time I step foot in his office, through the surgery, the recovery, the follow ups, the whole experience was unbelievable, for Dr. Khalil, making his patients happy with their looks is everything to him, he takes the time with each patient as if they're family, that's exactly how I felt, he's not only a phenomenal surgeon, he's a decent human being, compassionate, caring and an expert and pro at what he does. The only regret and criticism I have is to myself, that why I waited so many years, but i guess, as they say, it's better late than never. My surgery was a breeze, the recovery was just as good, the follow up calls from his office staff after surgery was comforting, Amalia and Megan are great, they treat you like family, you feel everything is all about you. I've always been insecure about how my breast looked because they were always small and not round. When I first told my mom I wanted to have a breast augmentation she made me swear not to go to anyone else but Khalil and I'm glad I listened to her. My mother already had her breasts done by Khalil twice, so I was somewhat familiar with him. I'm only 22 and this was going to be my first major surgery ever, so I was beyond nervous as it was getting closer to the date of my surgery, but Khalil and his entire staff are so sweet and compassionate that it made the whole process smooth. Amalia, who I believe is the office manager and works in the front, is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Christina is the nurse who took my vitals the morning of my surgery and she managed to help me get my blood pressure down just by talking to me and letting me know I was in good hands. I wish I knew everyone's names in that office because they're all great. As for Khalil, I don't think there is anything else I can say that hasn't been said already. He's knowledgable, professional, cares about his patients, has a great sense of humor, has amazing bedside manners, and won't bs you just to get extra money out of you. STOP LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT SURGEON! HES RIGHT HERE!!!! Dr. Khalil is, hands down, the best doctor and surgeon alive. The very moment I stepped into his office, I instantly felt at ease. His bedside manner is second to none, he's compassionate and understanding in a manner that just makes you feel like you're his only patient.....That in itself is a rare trait to find in any health professional! He listens and actually cares about your concerns as much as you do yourself. What really sets Dr. Khalil apart in my opinion is his commitment to making sure you understand all the aspects of the procedure. As much as I want to love the doctor, it is very hard for me to do so because of my first consult with him. I came in for a consultation on a Saturday at 11AM, came in on time, waited for about 20 minutes (understandable as he just finished with surgery). No big deal. He came in the room and asked what I was there for, so I said for breast augmentation so he started measuring me and just asked which one I wanted to get, saline or silicone and once I gave him my answer, all he said was one his assistant will come in and help me out with my sizes, which wasn't a problem for me at all. But as I started researching and reading reviews with different doctors, doctors usually spends time with the patient and discuss sizes, make recommendations, talks about things that makes a patient uncomfortable, and little things like that. So after I picked out my sizes, I really thought he was going to come back inside the room and discuss things with me but the surgery scheduler came in instead and gave me a packet with sx dates, prices, and coupons. So I said I will think about it and give them a call, so I did. A week later, I contacted them and has asked if I can schedule one more appointment or even a virtual appointment with the doctor because I still have some questions for him so I was scheduled for a virtual consult on Monday (4/27/21) at 3:00PM and did not receive any calls from the office or doctor. I saw Dr. Kahlil for a Breast Augmentation consultation and I knew right away he was the doctor for me! Very up front and honest about the pros and cons of the procedure, you could tell he truly cared about his work, and would only do a procedure if he felt 100% comfortable doing it. I can't wait to have the surgery complete! ***UPDATE 10/9/2017*** I scheduled my surgery for 9/22, and I am currently 2 weeks post op, and I'm the happiest I've ever been! The day of the surgery I was a little nervous, I was scheduled for 11am and I arrived there around 10:50am to start the paperwork, everything was ready for me when I got there, I signed all my paperwork and was taken to the pre-op waiting room, and got dressed (I got to keep my sweatpants on, which really helped me feel more comfortable and relaxed). The nurse came in and started an IV with fluids, both Dr. Khalil and the anesthesiologist came in to walk me through the process before we began, after pictures were taken I walked back to the operating room with Dr. Khalil. I LOVED the fact that it was all within the same office that I knew and was comfortable with. The surgery went well and I was home before I knew it. Dr. Khalil rescued me from an implant surgery gone wrong that nobody else would touch. I consulted with multiple other doctors before ending up in Dr. Khalil's office and Dr. Khalil was the only one I trusted. He did what a number of other doctors couldn't, identified the issues causing my problems quickly and confidently, then assured me that he could fix it the first time, or he would revise his work without charge. The surgeon who left me looking bad in the first place didn't offer to fix his work, so I was impressed with Khalil's thoughtfulness. His honest and down to Earth approach was appreciated. I was surprised when he told me that, due to reimbursement from the implant company that I was still under warranty for, I could pay a fairer price than what other surgeons quoted me. No other doctor had mentioned that as a possibility. I'm nearly 7 months out of my surgery and everything has worked out beautifully. I have no need to go back for a revision this time and his suggestions for me were perfect. Khalil's work is the best I've had yet, and I remain impressed with his no bull, no fluff, transparent approach. Don't let the address fool you. Truly an amazing surgeon! The staff was incredible too! Really everyone there was beyond cool and made the entire experience stress free!! After having three kids I desperately needed a breast augmentation surgery and I'm so happy I found Dr. Khalil. It was worth the 7hr hour drive to get my surgery done by him. From beginning to end he has the best bedside manner, great sense of humor, and relieved the stress of both myself and my husband! But besides the amazing staff, the breast augmentation turned out AMAZING!! I couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning from looking at Dr. Khalils reviews and breast augmentation photos I knew he was the doctor for me. Consultation went great he listened and made me feel comfortable and that I'd be safe. Flash forward to day of surgery and it went so well. I was extremely nervous but his staff and himself made me feel assured that I'd do great. I had a bit of a rough week with healing but his office and Dr himself never hesitated to help. Everyone has been so professional and kind. I am now almost 2 weeks post op and all I can say is "wow" I truly love my new breasts. love how natural they look and everyday as they heal they look better and better. After meeting with Dr. Khalil I knew he was the one. Prior to listening to everything I envisioned I wanted he thoroughly explained all options and offered his expert suggestion. I went with this and could not be happier. On the day of my breast augmentation in March, 2017 they were all so amazing at making sure I had everything I needed and felt great about everything. The procedure was quick and easy. I had minimal pain from the surgery and a very easy recovery. By the third day I had range in motion in my arms and two weeks I was at the pool in a bikini. Knowledgeable in his field beyond what I have seen and after my initial consult, I knew I found the right Dr. for an evasive and serious procedure I had breast augmentation and tummy tuck with Doctor Khalil . Best experience with Dr. Khalil, Amalia and the rest of his attentive and kind team. I had a breast augmentation in June after a consultation in May. I was referred by a friend and even though she detailed her experience it absolutely didn't do the team justice. From my first interaction with Amalia and Dr. Khalil I felt warmly welcomed and the most at ease. Every step of the way from the consultation up to the day of the surgery I was kept well informed, I was treated kindly by the awesome team and even to this day (2 months post-op) Dr. Khalil and his team continue to take care of me and my progress, with respect to the breast augmentation. This is the BEST Plastic Surgeon, hands down. I've been coming to Dr. Khalil for 8 years now. He is such an honest and stand up professional. Which is rare is the Cosmetic Surgery field. I've asked Dr about many procedure some he agreed he felt I could do and others he respectfully declined and told me he didn't feel like I needed and that he would not do. Dr. Khalil is the best plastic surgeon for me. I have friends and relatives who had cosmetic surgeries in the past with other doctors and they agreed with me that I have the best doctor, especially when I showed them my new breasts. I was scared in the beginning to have a breast reduction but Dr. Khalil and his staff made me feel comfortable and I just felt like I could trust them. I had my breast augmentation and tummy tuck by Dr. Khalil two weeks ago. I could not have asked for a better experience. His staff is wonderful and Dr. Khalil makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He is honest and funny and makes the process less daunting. Not only are him and his staff completely amazing, his work speaks for itself. My incision on my tummy tuck is perfectly straight and low and my implants look amazing. I had zero complications and felt comfortable with all of the support I received from him and his staff during the recovery process - even when I had a question late on a Sunday evening, I was able to speak with his nurse who was helpful and put my mind at ease. Dr. Khalil is amazing at what he does. I got a breast augmentation 8 years ago and till this day I have no problems with it. I'm asian with a petite body thats an A cup so it was important for me to get a size that fits my frame, something natural but noticeable. I ended up getting silicone high profile with 350cc and they look like I was born with them! I always get compliments on how natural they look even when I get sized up for bra shopping, the girls there get surprised that they're actually implants! I really love them and how they fill in my clothes. Dr. Khalil tells me they're good to stay in for many more years but I'm already thinking about redoing them to get them slightly bigger now that my skin has stretched enough.
