I just wanted to share my five star experience at the office of Dr. Gabbay. I was researching providers who perform Buccal fat removal. Originally, I was going to have it with another provider I consulted with. However, due to the other provider's consultant, I passed as it was difficult to coordinate with her. I actually became quite frustrated. Often practices don't realize that it's the full experience from start to finish, including ALL the staff that makes for a positive surgical journey. I pressed on and found Dr Gabbay through research and was impressed with his before and after photos of the procedure. I proceeded with setting up a consultation. Melissa reached out per my consult request. She was above and beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with getting the process started. When I went in person for my consultation, I was warmly welcome by the front staff as well as Melissa. When we went on back to meet with Dr Gabbay. We went over the procedure and he said I was in fact a candidate, which made me very confident as I had two other providers say that I was so I knew I would be in good hands. Upon finishing, I was able to immediately coordinate with Melissa putting a deposit down and scheduling a procedure date. On a sidenote, I also have to thank Dr. Gabbay for his beyond caring and ethical values as a provider. I was unknowingly suffering from hypertension, which was figured out through taking my vitals many times and my BP was extremely high. He referred me to a cardiologist promptly, and we both agreed it was in my best interest for me to get that treated before I underwent anymore procedures. The entire staff, Melissa Kelly, Brooke and Gabby were all beyond helpful and accommodating, when having to move the schedule around a few times as we wanted full confirmed medical clearance before I underwent the procedure. Finally, Once I was cleared, I went in for the buccal fat removal. I appreciate that Dr Gabbay took extra time before we went back to the OR and we went over expectations and was able to show him photos of examples of his patients that I really liked their results as well as comparing that to celebrities (not sure who did their surgery) that I thought had it done nicely and ones that I thought not so great. He is extremely knowledgeable with this procedure so he knew exactly the plan based on my anatomy and our final chat before getting started. Both his tech and OR nurse were super friendly and made me very comfortable. I got situated, numbed and next thing you know, 20 minutes later all set and done. There was literally no pain, just some pricks from the needle to initially numb it. But otherwise felt like going to the dentist for some thing routine. I cannot explain how beautiful and smooth my experience was with Dr Gabbay and his amazing team! I was confident I have BII so went in wanting an explant, total capsule removal & a lift. Dr Gabbay was very transparent with me and was careful in not just saying what I wanted to hear.. which I appreciated and is the reason I chose him over BII specialists. The person I put my implants in with was so cold, didn't tell me the risks I could've faced. I am 5"4 and at the time of getting implants I was 110 I wanted only a full B cup but he forced a DD on me. My skin ended up getting sooo much stretch marks & the communication was just horrible. I found it very interesting that every other surgeon I saw with explant consults did not disclose any risks that come with removing the capsule.. they made the topic sound like a walk in the park.. but Dr gabbay was willing to explain everything in such detail.. that I realized oh wow, this is actually a serious procedure that could get complicated... I much rather have a surgeon that gives me every detail than one pretending that what I'm about to do is a walk in the park with zero potential risks. Dr Gabbay is a surgeon that will not put a patients life at risk, just for the sake of appeasing anyone. Which is how all surgeons should be, but unfortunately are not. When I woke up from surgery he told me that he was successful in getting every piece of capsule out and that it was a success. He took photos & even videos to show me since it would ease my mind. I was able to wake up from surgery and take all the time I needed in leaving.. it took me 1.5 hours to feel like I was ready to get up and go home. They have the most patience here. Even down to the warm/kind hearted anesthesiologist. This review is long overdue. 8 months ago I had an implant replacement and lift. I also had arm lipo with renuvion. I spent a lot of time doing research and having different consultations with different doctors but ultimately chose Dr. Gabbay because his work looked most natural, he was very pleasant to meet with, he was very transparent of expectations, and he wasn't trying to price gauge me like some other doctors in the area. I had an original implant 10 years ago( saline) and over the years, the implants get heavy and made the breast droop. I'm 5 feet, 115 lbs, and having DD breast was too much. I also was very insecure about my arms and just wanted them more lean but I didn't have enough fat or loose skin for a full on arm lift. Surgey day I didn't feel nervous at all because somehow I knew I was just in good hands. After Surgey, I did have a minor complication( which I was very scared of initially). One of my nipples was much darker than the other and it appeared it wasn't get much oxygen or blood flow and I was afraid it was dying(necrosis). I called the office that evening and he had me come to his office the next morning. Dr. Gabbay took the tape off and gave me wound healing instructions and even sent me to get a few hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments to increase oxygen in my blood to improve the healing. I spent a couple of weeks dealing with that but every single time I emailed, texted, or called, the doctor and team responded in an appropriate amount of time with the doctors thoughts on the progress. He also had me regularly come in to check how I was healing. He was transparent with me the whole time of what was happening and even though he was optimistic that I would heal ok, he was prepared with other options in case it turned sideways, which I appreciated. Turns out I wasn't getting necrosis( of course we always think the worst) and his after treatment instructions were spot on to giving me the beautiful results I have now. He has completely made me more confident and I feel like I can wear so many more tops I couldn't wear before because I was so top heavy before. I went from saline 430CC to silicone 295CC. In all I went from DD to full C small D. In regards to the arm lipo, the healing was super easy. There are no lumps and the scars are barely noticeable. I will say that the results are not as great as I would of hoped. For the amount of money I paid, not sure it was completely worth it but I still feel better now than before. I would maybe suggest what he charged to be cut in half especially if you are getting another procedure done at the same time ( since there should be no extra costs for the anesthesia). I am not reducing the stars I posted because during my consultation he did tell me that it wouldn't be a drastic change so I kind of expected that. I seriously cannot recommend Dr. Gabbay enough. I was introduced to Dr. Gabbay by. colleague when I was considering doing some filler. After several sessions, I was extremely happy with my results and decided to explore body contouring with him. I had already done a form of liposuction about 14 moths prior to reaching out to Dr. Gabbay so it was considered a revision. I am a pretty skinny gal but my prior liposuction had left me with some excess skin and unevenness that really bothered me. When I did my consult with Dr. Gabbay he automatically described a plan and results that I had envisioned in mind. He proposed reversional liposuction of my abdomen and tailbone paired with Jplasma for skin tightening. The day of surgery went smoothly! OK so this might be a long one but definitely worth the read! so I was looking to do an explant with fat transfer and I had called probably between 10 to 15 maybe even 20 plastic surgeons and the vibe that I got on the phone was just not it for me with a combination of the work I seen as well. when I initially called and spoke to Melissa on the phone we had a very in-depth conversation about my wants, needs, fears, and about Dr. Gabbays abilities to full-fill. So not only did she herself make me feel super welcomed and comfortable to actually come in and meet Dr. Gabbay but it really just set the tone for the appointment as well. So I go in and my biggest thing was having a good vibe with my surgeon and immediately he made me feel comfortable! He answered all my questions; he was super informative which is amazing. I also went in there knowing exactly what I wanted to do and it worked out perfectly in my case with him. So I had booked my appointment pre-pandemic and my surgery was set and because of it it kind of had to be pushed out so during the process I also spoke to one of his assistants named, Kelly who took care of appointments virtual online consultations all of the things that I needed to do pre-surgery ( and then post) and she was just a doll as well. So fast forward to surgery day I was extremely nervous and scared as a lot of people are, and he made me feel super comfortable and reassured me the whole time up until I went under! after my surgery he was very vigilant for the first few days after just to make sure everything was OK even checked on me during his vacation! After that at all of my follow up appointments he's been very open and very honest; and very kind. One thing I can definitely say about Dr. Gabbay is that he literally cares for his patients through and through! Any imperfection that you may have any concerns he addresses it, he's there for you he cares about how you feel, and he definitely cares about the aesthetic and what's gonna make you happy and what's going to make you feel the best. I honestly don't think I could've picked a better plastic surgeon and if I need or want any other surgeries I will never ever go to another surgeon other than Dr. Gabbay! Dr Gabbay and his team are truly amazing! Looking for a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills can be a daunting task since we have the cream of the crop here. I did a lot of research before I narrowed down my search to 3 doctors, Dr Gabbay being one of them. When I initially called I spoke with Stefanie who set up my phone consult with their booking specialist, Melissa. Melissa went over the entire lipo procedure with me from pre to post op and answered all the questions I had in between. I knew right after that call that Dr Gabbay was the right choice for me and I didn't even need to consult with anyone else. Then I had a scheduled zoom with Dr Gabbay, COVID times, and by looking at the photos I sent in of my problem areas we came up with a plan for my procedure. The procedure went great and although I did awake lipo, I fell asleep for the entire time. Slept like a baby! Here I am, now 3 months post op and I am obsessed with the work he did on my legs. It was my first time getting botox injections and lip filler, and Dr. Gabbay and Nurse Pegah were amazing. They answered all my questions, were so gentle and put me at ease. So much so, I was only planning on getting masseter Botox and ended up getting a few more areas because I felt so comfortable. Dr. Gabbay changed my life. From my first call with Melissa to my in-office consultation, I felt like they truly cared about helping me. There was no pressure and everyone was a joy to work with...After the birth of my twins my body was ravaged and no amount of eating clean and working out was helping. I ended up having a tummy tuck with muscle and hernia repair, along with some lipo. My procedure was on Feb 2020 and I can't begin to explain how amazing my results are and how happy I am. His entire surgical team was top notch, including his anesthesiologist (so important!). I stayed at an aftercare center for two days after surgery and then went home for the rest of my recovery. Dr. Gabbay himself was available to me at all times and checked in frequently. My results are unreal. I am happy and confidant in my body for the first time in over three years. To anyone reading who might be going into their first surgery but is interested in booking with Dr. Gabbay - I urge you to read this! This was my first surgery ever, and though I was a bundle of nerves, Dr. Gabbay and his team did all the right things to make this the best experience for me. See below for my full review: PRE-OP: For context, I went in interested in a breast reduction and lift. I'd considered doing this procedure for over 10 years (I'm 27 now), and even though I'd had consultations with other surgeons in the LA area, none really made me feel comfortable going through with the procedure. I always felt for one reason or another like I'd regret it, and I usually didn't feel much support from the surgeon (who would usually be very dry about the procedure) or their staff (who usually didn't bother comforting me). BUT I'm SO happy to report this is NOT the case with Dr. Gabbay or his team. First off, before you even meet in person, you have a phone consult with their patient coordinator Melissa, who asks you what you're looking to do, how long you've been thinking about it, and goes through every question you could have about the procedure. She also lets you go over any concerns you could have, and was very honest about the financial undertaking for the procedure (which I really appreciate). After the call, I scheduled my in-person consult with Dr. Gabbay. I think what stood out the most during my in-person consult was how genuinely down to earth Dr. Gabbay was, and how his first questions to me were what was I looking for in going through with this, and why do it now. He validated a lot of the emotions and concerns I've had about my body, and assured me that I would be so happy by the end of it. I never felt pressured by him or his staff to say yes to anything, and I walked out of the consult incredibly excited to move forward with my surgery. Overall, it just felt like they were listening to me and what I wanted, and that is so, so important. Once I had booked the surgery, Melissa, Jumana, and the rest of the patient team helped me with all the steps before surgery. Just note that you'll need to get your blood work, covid test, and any post op clothing/items purchased outside of the overall surgery cost. Just something to keep in mind as you start figuring out how much everything will cost. But this is standard procedures as far as I know. DAY OF SURGERY: We were able to book my surgery just a few weeks after my consult, which was awesome. The day before surgery, I had one last check in with someone from the operating room and I even got a lovely message from the anesthesiologist ensuring me how great everything was going to go. I was still very nervous going into it as like I said this was my first major surgery, so I had all the normal concerns someone would have going into it. Once I was actually there, the nurse walked me to the patient waiting room, and when she noticed how nervous I was (I literally couldn't stop myself from crying every time the surgery was brought up) she held my hand tightly and told me I was in the best hands possible. She brought me a blanket so I was comfortable, told jokes, did whatever she could and honestly I'm so grateful for her care and candor, she was absolutely amazing. Once the doctors came in, it wasn't much time at all before I was brought in and after about 15 seconds of small talk, I was out like a light. When I woke up, it was 4 hours later and the surgery was done. The staff had given my pick up person all the details of where to pick me up, so getting me from the surgery center to my home was pretty easy (from what I know - I wasn't SUPER aware of what was going on at the time but I was told it was very easy!). POST-OP: My Post-Op experience was and continues to be a great experience with the support from Dr. Gabbay and his team. After my first night of recovery, they had me send pictures of my stitches so they could check for anything off. We also booked my first post-op visit for a few days after my surgery. Pain-wise, I can say that while yes, there is pain for the first week or so, the medication they prescribe does wonders to help mitigate most of it. The worst part is mostly just discomfort and frustration that you can't lift your arms over your head or lay on your side for a few weeks (so make sure you have some help for a week or two). I believe after 3 weeks I stopped feeling any pain completely, and now that I'm at the 3 month mark I feel completely normal (with MUCH less back pain I might add!). My scars are healing wonderfully, and I genuinely think I got the best results I could ask for. I went from a size DDD to between a C-D cup, which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. So all this to say - THANK YOU Dr. Gabbay and team!! You guys are amazing and I'm so, so grateful for your work. I'd recommend this team to anyone looking for a reduction/lift! read more

We discussed botox, filler, and a few other surgical procedures. EDIT: I have now been back to Dr. Gabbay for multiple procedures! I decided to trust him for my breast lift + augmentation. I had been self-conscious about my boobs for years. They were super pankcakey from weight gain/loss over the years and they were uneven. I consulted with another doctor for the same procedure that left me feeling really anxious and nervous but once I had my consult with Dr. Gabbay and Melissa, I knew I was in the right hands. I NEVER thought my chest could look this good! It's truly been life-changing for me. And even a year out from the boob job, he stills comes through in the most meaningful ways. I was recently in a bad car accident that left my forehead ripped open - the ER doc put several stitches in to hold everything together, but I reached out to Gabbay because HELLO IT'S MY FACE and I trusted him to give me the assurance (or not) that the stitch job I had would heal well. He had me in for a drop in appointment and actually decided that the wound if left to heal the way it was would leave a deep hole at one end where my skin was initially punctured in the accident. He took no time to take out the ER stitches, numb me up and add some much-needed deep plane stitches under the skin so I wouldn't look like a total Frankenstein this Halloween LOL.
