The bagels themselves I found kind of chewy and missing the standard varieties I'm used to. Their house cured nova lox was a little lacking in flavor for my taste but very colorful. They have a large variety of spreads and a lot of vegan options which seems to be the mode in a college town like Gainesville. Personally it's not for me as I'm a bagel purist but my understanding is there are times when folks are waiting up to 40 minutes to chow down a Humblewood bagel. So folks, what do I know.

I called the store, and although it was a third-party delivery issue, they asked me to come in the next day with photos and the receipt. That's when I met Heaven. She listened, understood the situation, and made everything right without hesitation. More importantly, she treated us with genuine kindness. During an already difficult time of grieving, her compassion and heartfelt apology meant so much. That level of empathy and customer service is rare these days. Heaven turned a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I am so grateful. Heaven, thank you for your empathy, your professionalism, and your kindness.
