I've always loved Bagel Bakery and still think their bagels are phenomenal, fresh, chewy, and absolutely crave-worthy. If I were rating just the bagels, it'd be five stars all day. But unfortunately, the other menu items really missed the mark for me this time. I tried the Earthy Turkey wrap, and it was honestly disappointing, barely any turkey, just a bunch of lettuce and alfalfa, and it was wrapped in a way that felt more like an afterthought than a meal. I also grabbed an egg and cheese croissant, and... it looked like it had been run over. Definitely not worth the $6. The one highlight (aside from the bagels) was the large pistachio muffin, super moist, flavorful, and honestly the only non-bagel item I actually enjoyed. It's kind of sad because I used to love this place so much more. As far as service , the people working here look so out of it and maybe it was just this morning but they weren't as friendly as they used to be. It's like they don't like to work there or are stressed .. I don't know but it just felt like I had to go find someone to help me that if I wasn't as hungry I would've just left to go somewhere else. It's like they don't care about quality or service anymore. And they seem to have favoritism over the regulars that come . Next time, I'll just stick to what they do best: the bagels.

We moved to Gainesville a few months ago. Needed to find a pizza place and a BBQ place etc. Happy to say Bagel place BIG CHECK! I got a dozen to go 3 times so far and today my wife and I sat down.. It's a very clean and simple decor. Staff was helpful and just plain nice. I got a bagel egg bacon and cheese sandwhich which I enjoyed. Also had a cup of Hazelnut coffee and my wife enjoyed Honey Lavender latte with oat milk and a large chocolate chocolate chip muffin. Not a huge menu but if you want a goto place for a bagel this is it.

First time visit. Customer service was excellent. Great selection and very fresh. 6 different bagels loved by all. The Nova Lox was exceptional. It's a must if you're into that. This place is a must whenever you're in Gainesville.

There was a huge line when we came in, which moved fairly quickly. The service was alright, but ordering was a very stressful and confusing experience due to the way the line is set up. We ordered two bagels to share, and for the sweet one I thought we were ordering Nutella cream cheese, as it was listed under the cream cheese flavors, but it was actually just plain Nutella slathered on a bagel which was way too sweet. The bagels are alright, but nothing special. The coffee was also not my favorite. While they have lots of options and flavors, I unfortunately probably won't be back.

Bagel Bakery continues to be my go to bagel place and this is from someone who lived in NYC!! If you're missing flavorful fresh bagels, this is the place. The Nova sandwich is still the bomb! I've tried some of the pastries and they are excellent as well!!

Still one of my favorite places to go for bagels in Gainesville, I'm glad they are still going strong :) The ambiance is cozy and gives off small town vibes. Service is super friendly. The bagels are excellent as well. My sesame seed bagel was soft and warm on the inside while having a nice crust and wonderful texture from the abundance of toasted sesame seeds on the outside. They are also very generous with the cream cheese, which I greatly appreciate! Although service can be a little slow at times where they are short handed, I love coming here and look forward to being back again :)

Calm atmosphere- very city bagel/coffee shop-esque. Huge selection for food and drinks. Friendly & efficient staff. I got a spinach & sausage egg sandwich. Traditionally served on focaccia - I got it on an Asiago bagel. The bagel is fresh and soft! Crunchy on the outside soft and warm on the inside. 10/10 recommend & will be back!

Picked my daughter up from a week long sleep away camp and her lunch request was Bagel Bakery. She got her usual super exciting plain bagel with plain cream cheese (you can see she snatched half out of the bag immediately and started to chow down, hence only a pic of the remaining half ), but I decided to try something new with the Earthy Turkey wrap. Both were delicious! Daughter devoured her's but mine was so big I could only stomach half of it - good news for my lunch tomorrow!

This place is busy on Saturday morning and the line is long. The service is great, the bagels are good and portions are generous. Prices are reasonable to good. Plenty of coffee selections and no extra charge on alternative milk. However, the handcrafted coffee is a let-down, better off for a regular coffee. Overall, it is a great place to visit.

Bagel Bakery is amazing! the staff are so friendly and welcoming from the second you walk in the door. Ken is always great and helpful. I believe he is the owner, but he is super nice and has always made sure I enjoy my food. While I have not sat there to eat, there is a nice seating area for those with more time to relax. Overall, there is good food, nice staff, and a welcoming environment I would recommend going to.

New to the Gainesville area and stumbled upon this spot while stopping at USPS. It's so cute! Decor is very homey and welcoming. First stop I got the Pizza bagel on garlic, my gf got a focaccia on spinach I believe, and we split a lemon poppy seed muffin. Overall very yummy, a little up there in price but so is everything these days unfortunately. Stopped there again this morning I got a turkey bacon on garlic again, my gf got the vegetarian on sesame, and we split an apple cinnamon muffin. Omg that muffin was to die for, super moist! I liked it more than the lemon. No shade to the lemon I'm just used to really artificial lemon I think, it tasted homemade which isn't a bad thing! Staff seemed friendly, it was busy so not much they could do while keeping up with orders etc. Will definitely stay coming when funds allow!

I went to the Luke's Bagels location under the Standard this past week and was disappointed. I hadn't been here in a little bit, especially since Bagels & Co. just opened down the street. But I was craving a Luke's Bagels, so I got there around 8:30, when they opened ready to order. Unfortunately, no one was at the counter when I came in. Someone popped out from the back to take my order a little while's later though. Their bagel selection was extremely limited, more so than usual. They didn't have poppy seed or sesame seed bagels. This was surprising, as I thought this location was sent fresh bagels each morning, I guess not. Luckily, I was able to order a bacon, egg, and cheese on a toasted Asiago, along with a toasted plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. This took roughly 15 minutes to come out, which was longer than I expected. Upon delving into my bagels, I noticed a couple things that were different from my previous visits last semester. The bagels were definitely smaller, had less cream cheese, and didn't taste as fresh. The BEC had ample amounts of American cheese and the eggs were good, but there was barely any bacon! There was MAYBE two meager pieces on the bagel, I didn't even get bacon in most of my bites. The Asiago bagel still had a decent taste, with a nice sharp Asiago. But it just wasn't very fresh tasting like they've been in the past. The texture wasn't awful, but it wasn't what it used to be. The plain bagel with cream cheese was lackluster. The plain bagel was just fine, as it too was not very fresh. The strawberry cream cheese was decent and not too sweet, which I appreciate. I also like that their cream cheeses have more of whipped texture to them. But there certainly wasn't as much cream cheese on this bagel as I've received in the past! Overall, I was not very pleased with my experience here. The bagels were not fresh at all, the sandwich was lacking bacon, and I just thought the quality appeared be lower. Maybe I came on an off day, but the bagels were not fresh and the assortment they had available was very limited. The texture of the bagels still has a softer center, with a chewy outside , but the outside was too chewy and hard. The size and portions were decreased as well. The BEC had too much cheap, American cheese, and lacked bacon. The plain bagel with cream cheese didn't have much smear on it. For being about $19 for two bagels, not worth it. This makes me sad as I used to love Luke's, but this was not a good visit. I hope next time I come here it is better!

There is plenty of seating and the staff is very friendly. Since it is located in Midtown, parking could be tricky. It wasn't super busy when we arrived, but it seems to be a popular spot amongst college students. The menu offers a nice variety of asian dishes and they also serve breakfast/brunch on the daily. The interior appeared sort of "run down", but in the best way possible. It was still inviting and provided for a nice, laid back sort of meal. The food doesn't take too long to come out either and it is made fresh to order. We ended up ordering the steamed dumplings as an appetizer. I also ordered a cup of miso soup. The dish comes with 5 decent size dumplings. They are handmade and packed with filling. I appreciated the flavorful pork and the amount of it in them. My miso soup was pretty standard, nothing too special. But is hit the spot on a chilly evening. For our entrees, my friend ordered the beef udon, while I ordered the Lemongrass chicken. The portions are pretty large and we found it to be quite filling. My friend said this was some of the best udon she'd had. The broth was very flavorful, the beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The only thing she didn't like as much was the fried egg, opposed to the more traditional hard boiled egg. My lemongrass chicken was satisfying as well. It came with a copious amount of chicken, with a really tangy sauce over it. The rice was overcooked, which was disappointing. Overall, Bagels and Noodles is a wonderful asian eatery located in Midtown. Its location is prime for college students and I can see why it is so popular. The service is very good and personable. The "hole in the wall" feel of the restaurant makes the atmosphere! The food is made with lots of love and it was served fresh and hot. The dumplings are amazing and I would recommend. My friend is already dying to come back and explore more of their noodle dishes. I will definitely be returning and look forward to trying more things!
