We shared the shaved ice and custom chose the flavours: got the taro shaved ice with matcha ice cream, durian and coconut noodles. Everything was really delicious - especially the durian. We felt the coconut noodles were hard to bite and break apart so next time will probably get a softer ingredient.

Sugar Marmalade always brings back memories of Hong Kong desserts for me. There are many different kinds of desserts, including traditional and fusion. Recently, I had honeydew shaved ice with aloe, honeydew, shaved ice, and ice cream. It was good! Not too sweet, but very cold. I also had takoyaki, which was crunchy and delicious, especially after eating cold food. I saw some people ordering the waffles, and they looked really good too! Besides desserts, they also serve meals. The environment is clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly, although it seems like they only have two staff members, so they are quite busy.

Still the only Asian style dessert place I know in Mississauga and I found myself here again bcuz of the lack of choices. But my recent visit was very disappointing. What we ordered: Oreo Macau Pudding Black sesame Panna Cotta Fresh Mango Pearl Delight Oreo milkshake They do better with westernized dessert. So the pudding and panna cotta is ok. But the mango pearl delight was beyond disappointed. There is sago and mochi balls in along with the fresh mango juice base. However, i found uncooked sage and mochi balls in it and you can tell because they where hard and white. When sago is cooked, it becomes transparent and when mochi balls are cooked, they should be chewy. I found at least 7 uncooked mochi balls and had to spit them out, along with a handful of half cooked or fully uncooked sago. I flagged it to my server when i paid the bill as I didn't want to interrupt the good time my group was having and she said she will let the kitchen know. But serving uncooked food is unacceptable. The whole dish became very gross and i could barely eat it. I hope this never happens again. Or if you decide to eat here, pay extra attention.

Sugar marmalade is a great spot for snacks and desserts! They are open pretty late and the desserts are done very well! The wait time is quite long as mentioned in other reviews and a lot of menu items are usually out of stock. Either than that the kimchi fries are so unique and you get a pretty big portion for your buck! Almost every dessert I've tried I've liked and majority of them always look like the picture that they advertise which in my opinion is a good way to run a business! I think this place could be a great hang out spot but sometimes it is super busy (wait to get in because of limited seating) and it can feel pretty crowded in there. 4/5! Ps, you can order on your phone by scanning the barcode at your table which is convenient!

The desserts were phenomenal as it was not too sweet and has a lot of tropical flavour options. The service was ok but the food was excellent and would definitely come back.

Sugar Marmalade has a wide selection of savoury snacks and sweet desserts. They really shine on the dessert front! I personally love their strawberry and matcha parfait, and their shaved ice is really well infused with a great texture (rather than just plain ice with sugary syrup). Everything else (drinks, snacks) have tended to be kind of mid. Still, this place is a convenient go-to when you're looking for a reliable dessert option in Mississauga! The hours are great and there should be something on the menu for everyone.

I've been here a couple of times and know how good the food and desserts are. The only thing that swayed me from coming back is the wait times! Fortunately enough for my partner and I, we went on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and we were practically the only ones there. So definitely keep their peak hours in mind when deciding to come here! Like I said, we came here for a super late lunch and we were starving so don't judge because we ordered a lot LOL. We ordered the Szechuan soup with pork and rice noodles, Japanese chicken curry cutlet on rice, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, mango coconut sago pudding, and mango pancake. I've had the Japanese chicken curry before and love it every time. Can't go wrong with chicken, Japanese curry, and cheese! I wasn't the biggest fan of the Szechuan soup as I found that it lacked much flavour, just a lot of spice. However, my partner enjoyed it so it's just my personal taste. Taiwanese popcorn chicken was crispy and hot when it came to our table. It's a great appetizer to share (although you'll definitely want everything to yourself). For dessert we got the mango pancake. The pancake is more of a crepe, super light and pairs perfectly with the fresh mango and cream. A nice light dessert to finish off a heavy meal. Overall, our meal here was pleasant! The ordering system is now online but it's pretty easy to navigate. The food took a bit longer to come out but I'd say it was worth it because the food was hot and fresh!

Highly recommend getting the baked rice dish here! We really liked it. We got the tomato base with pork chops and found it was tasty and flavourful. Also the milk tea here is surprisingly really good. The tapioca is extra soft and chewy. Also got to try the mango sago and it was really. Not too sweet.

I absolutely love love this place for so so many reasons!! Numba uno, this place is great for snacks both sweet and savory. They have a long list of items in their overwhelming menu to pick from but in my case I refuse to experiment here I love my basics which are the popcorn chicken, lobster balls, wings and their mango tapioca dessert. The popcorn chicken is fried pieces of dark meat(which I'm not too fond of) chicken topped with their special mayo, tuna dried flakes and dried seaweed with another sauce absolutely delish! Secondly this place is very reasonably priced and on average when I order a 3 apps and a desert my total generally is around $30. I have to mention their service even on a busy night which is normally every night is fast and the food is piping hot.Ambience wise I'm not a big fan of this place and therefore 4 stars..this place has bright lighting and tables are placed too close to one another. There is plenty of parking out there in the shared parking lot.I do recommend this place for these reasons and I believe it's open till 2am on weekends which is an added bonus.

This was recommended by my cousin, so we decided to try this place for an after dinner dessert. They do not have a physical menu to look at. Everything is online, including the ordering. All you had to do was scan the QR code on the table, and it will pull up the menu along with ordering food for your table. This was the 1st time I ordered food this way. I haven't gone to a Chinese dessert place in a long time. I usually eat the common dessert like red bean soup, mung bean soup, or even taro sweet soup, so.etbing easy to make at home for the whole family. I ordered the black grass jelly with golden sago delight. It had mango pieces that were a little sour, but the sago and sweet soup mixed was sweet enough, so it was fine. My mom and aunt ordered the taro black glutinous rice with pearl delight, which was good too. I kinda like the taro one more, not too sweet. The taro flavor mixed with the black glutinous rice was wonderful. I saw that their menu had other savory food for snack time, but we were so full from dinner and then the dessert that we so jot have the stomach to try anything else. I'll definitely come back again to try the rest of the menu.

amazing dessert place in Mississagua! A big variety of all sorts of different desserts. We loved their soft tofu pudding~~~ it was a neat personal size served in a wooden bucket with sweet syrup and red bean. The warmness of the tofu pudding was just right, jiggly like pudding texture that melts in your mouth. You can add the syrup according to the sweetness you prefer. I got the taro dessert bowl that was mixed with black glutinous rice, taro balls, real taro chunks and pearl delight rice balls. The flavour was slightly plain to me compare to the tofu pudding, not a huge huge fan of the pearl delight rice balls. Aside from desserts, they also have snacks and meals too. It's like an amazing all-in-one restaurant to come if you're craving for basically everything! Traditional Tofu Pudding - $9.99 Taro Black Glutinous Rice With Pearl Delight - $7.99 Mixed Fruit with Sago Mixed Pearl Delight - $8.49

    Bubble Tea Shaved Ice

Unfortunately, my bubble tea shaved ice tasted like water. Was expecting some sweetness & flavour, but the entire thing was a bit of a disappointment. Luckily, they refunded me. Nice staff.

They were quite busy with takeout orders which I took as a good sign. We ordered the Beef Sirloin Noodles level spicy and numb(4/5), Breaded Shrimp (5/5) Seafood Fried Rice (4/5) and Lamb Skewers (4/5). Beef Sirloin Noodles were delicious. The broth itself was not overly salty compared to other places we've been to. I enjoyed the addition of peanuts to this dish for that extra crunchy texture and nutty taste. The noodles were cooked perfectly. They were bouncy and chewy. The beef itself was good. Some were a tad bit chewy. I wish there was more bok choy. We'd also opt for extra spicy and extra numb next time. Breaded Shrimp was enjoyable. You can't go wrong with this dish. It was crispy, and the batter to shrimp ratio was decent. Seafood Fried Rice was good as well. Again, we liked how it wasn't overly salty. We were able to sense the taste of the seafood. I wish they added more scallops since we only got two pieces in the whole dish. Lamb Skewers were satisfying flavour-wise. We really liked the seasoning on them. It was on the chewier side but it was manageable. We'd like to try their other skewer options next time. Overall, such a good spot for affordable and delicious food. I'm glad my family recommended this place. I'd like to point out that a customer was being problematically entitled and rude yet the female server stayed professional. I thought she handled the situation quite calmly which I wanna commend her for. P.S. The restaurant has a sign on their door saying not to bring pets inside. So please read this and try not to bring your pet inside to avoid looking entitled and rude.

It is a nice local spot to get your Chinese food cravings fixed. Their menu seems to be the same for all locations, the only difference being the price, all locations potentially the same other than the downtown location. See their website: https://www.congeequeen.com/menu.php and select your location. It has been a while since we have eaten at the Congee Queen outside of the Toronto (Dundas/Yonge) location, so we were a bit surprised at the price difference (8-10% difference). This location (Heartland Town Center) feels like it has the right price for the menu. With cash, you also get a 10% discount. We were here on a Wednesday for an early dinner around 15:30 - 17:00 and it was about medium full for the main area. People were coming and going at a good pace. For our group of four, we ordered: - B3 Salmon Congee $11 ($12 downtown) - H11 Chicken Salted Fish Fried Rice $18.25 ($19.75 downtown) - K34 Fried Bean Curd with Veggie $19.50 ($21.50 downtown) - K42 Salt and Pepper Squid $16.50 ($18.25 downtown) - K53 Fried Chili Turnip Cakes $13.75 ($15.00 downtown) Service was a bit slow, but not the longest as there were only 2-3 staff taking orders that day for about 15-20 tables. If you signaled for assistance, they will come. Once ordered thought, the food came out in about 5 mins and all the dishes were ready soon after. Tea is refilled on request, just ask. As usual, the fried rice and congee is what they are known for, it was excellent as usual. Depending on the group you go with, YMMV, but for our order combination, this usually works comes out at the same time and everything is hot and tasty. The turnip cakes are the softer type and they even accommodated checking for shrimp. They are usually good about seafood checks. All in all, great experience. With the discount and tips all in, it was less than $100 total at $25 per person. It has been a while since we've eaten out with a group at that price point. Will keep in mind to meetup at any of the non downtown locations in future.

The ones here were among the best if not the best I've ever had. They are delivered to your table seconds from being in the fryer and are crisp, not oily and so light. Yes smaller than the standard, but just so good. 2.99 an order, order 2! They even have gluten cumin spiced skewers, and I have to tell you, they were delicious. We also ordered Pumpkin Pie with Red Bean Filling, stir-fried rice noodles with bean sprouts, Juicy Chinese Pork Burger, and their Juicy Cheese Beef Burger. Everything was quite good especially the Chinese Pork Burger. The outer shell was so crispy and the pork meat was so juicy and was seasoned just right. The Taiwanese Braised Pork rice was good but definitely not as good as in Taiwan lol. Also, if coming here, you have to try their signature pan fried buns. That is what they are known for. We didn't order it this time because we've had it a bunch of times already. Overall, this restaurant always hits. It's not the most amazing food but like the name suggest, It is very home style comfort food.

I've lived in Toronto, Durham, Peel and I can definitely say its been the hardest to find goood late night greasy Chinese food here in the Port Credit end of Mississauga. I'm still on the hunt! Customer service here was great. I called asked a few questions, than went in and grabbed a menu and went back to my car. Called over the phone and ordered she didn't know it was me and asked if i knew where they were located which was nice. So My order was General tao chicken ( we usually get chilli chicken but don't like it dry, prefer the sauced up spicy, so this is the equivalent at some places), chicken balls, chicken fried rice, and chicken wings. The total was about 40$, which is fair and the portions were alot less to what I was used to. The general tao chicken was not even a little bit spicy, even though she said it was so that was disappointing. On top of that the breaded part of the chicken was extremely soggy and the plate was full of soggy over cooked veggies underneath. the chicken wings were fried and greasy tasted great and well seasoned. Just not like what I'd usually get from a Chinese take out place as it just looked different the way it was breaded and fried. The rice was in a really small container w under cooked pieced of chicken that was very slimy and white and the rice was very bland. I had to overkill w soy sauce and bit of red sauce. Lastly the chicken balls of course 80% balls 20% chicken but tasted fine, just nothing special. I mean it was cheap and last minute but i definitely feel like i would not have ordered here if i had known cheap or not. They have alot to improve on or mayb they are better at making other items listed in reviews from others. Not sure how they have 5 stars. but hey to each their own right!
