The name alone is a small lawsuit waiting to happen as there is nothing, nothing, nothing super about a sandwich at A&C Super. I would know. I ordered the turkey and provolone. This not a complicated sandwich. It is, in fact, the kind of sandwich you order when you want to find out whether or not a place can make a sandwich. They cannot. First, the portions are small. Now, I am no big eater. I talk during lunch, mostly. Occasionally I eat. But this sandwich was so small it seemed less like lunch and more like a suggestion of a lunch. A text message about a lunch. A whiff of a lunch. And dry. I have read legal documents with more moisture. The turkey had clearly been through something awful. No amount of mustard was going to be consolation. I asked the staff a question. The response had the warmth of a Brooklyn parking ticket. That is, if the parking ticket also thought you were stupid for parking in Brooklyn in the first place. A sandwich without flavor. Served by people without humor. This is no deli. It is a grim waiting room where they charge you insane amounts of cash for a grim piece of bread and limp meat. Here's the thing: it's a hip little place with fussy graphic design. And hip little places with fussy graphic design should know their limits. The baked goods? Good. Stay there. Live there. Die there, eventually, smothered by all those fluffy, buttery croissants. But that sandwich? It should be retired. Quietly. I wish them well. Having lunch elsewhere. From a distance.

Incredible! For as long as I can remember I could only get Penny's amazingly scrumptious desserts is if I ordered a specialty cake (which we have.....12 of them!!!!) I cannot begin to tell you how lucky the human race is now that she has a shop!!! Are you ready for this??.........bacon jam croissants........you should stop reading my review and run there now! Delicious flakey croissant with this sweet/salty filling....I mean its bacon...end of story. The goey butter cake....nothing like it! The best there is! Their kale clover is the healthiest naughty food you can have! We had incredible customer service. They were very kind. We bought a masala chai chocolate chip cookie and a slice of sumac strawberry labneh cake. The cookie was the right amount of sweetness and well spiced. The cake slice was dense without being too heavy. The frosting was light, airy, and absolutely divine. There were also many strawberry pieces throughout the bottom layer of the cake. It was absolutely delicious! On our other trips, we have had the same friendly and amazing customer service with all of the employees. A small group of us have gone a couple of times and tried the vanilla raspberry jam filled cake with marshmallow topping, a citrus olive oil cake with a hard vanilla icing, a passion fruit Thai tea cake, a chocolate chocolate cake slice, and a cherry rose flavored sugar cookie. We all enjoyed everything. The only down side is that the cake slices are a bit pricey but you will be getting quality ingredients and unique flavors you can't get elsewhere. It is well worth it. We will definitely be back to try new flavors as they seem to change every so often.

I understand that people have off days, but the attitude made it feel like customers were more of an inconvenience than the reason the business exists. The cake pops themselves are fine, but not special enough to make up for poor service. They still have the cute molded look, and I can see why people are drawn to them at first, but once the novelty wears off, they're pretty mediocre. The flavor and texture don't stand out compared to everything else available at the market. I briefly considered World Cup cake pops from them, but after this visit, It's ironic seeing "#SupportSmall" on the back of their shirts, because I really do try to support small local businesses. But support goes both ways. If the experience makes customers feel unwelcome, then I guess I won't #SupportSmall in this case. Considering how many good options there are at this market, you're honestly not missing anything by choosing a different vendor. There are too many places nearby with better food, better service, and a more welcoming attitude to settle for cake pops that are mostly carried by novelty.
