This is without a doubt the BEST Subway in Hampton Roads. Bold statement, but I go to Subways 10-12 times a month because my son loves their sandwiches. They also have a loyalty program which we really enjoy. This location hits on all cylinders where others fail. Check out their case and notice that they have something most do not. They can keep all of their meats etc. fresh by a door that closes and seals down when business slows. My most recent visit was at lunch, this place get crazy busy on weekdays and a line can extend out to the door. The great news is they can handle it unlike others. The young man who I consider a guru of sandwich makers. Don't expect to engage him, he is a busy man and will get your order moving faster than the Tazmanian Devil. The others on the line are great and friendly too. If you come on Monday, or Tuesday the owner Ed will check you out. His wife Leanne is busy in the back, or may be cleaning tables. This place is always spotless and it wa this day too. My Roastbeef sandwich with American Cheese, pickles, lettuce and mayo was scrumptious... everything FRESH! The restrooms were clean with a nice smell from one of those little mist machines I suspect. The sidewalk are in front was well kept up too. They have two picnic tables for outdoor dining which is a nice touch for a Subway. They do catering as well if you are close enough. I must say that I was pretty darn shocked that I am the first to review this location, but I assume most think that fast food is fast food. Well I can tell you this place is different and you will feel it too. This is a locally owned and operated store and the difference is the owners are active and care about the reputation of their franchise and want repeat customers.

I usually don't write reviews, but here I go. Let's start by I love subway, but this one is not great. I literally ordered online to save exposure because of covid, and ended up with a cold chicken sandwich that was made an hour prior. Which is crazy because I asked for it toasted. Just a heads up to anyone who orders online, if you have covid or are sick, just go in because they don't care about how they make your food. He said he toasted it but it's clearly not toasted btw.

The lobster roll is the star of the show--tender, juicy, buttery perfection piled into a soft roll like it knows exactly how important it is. I will say, the amount of lobster seems to have slimmed down a little over the years...maybe an ounce or so? And yes, I noticed. I have photographic evidence! I've been sending pictures of these glorious lobster rolls to my sister for years purely to rub this delicacy in her face, so I basically have my own unofficial lobster-roll archive. The crinkle-cut fries are another must, especially with a little Old Bay sprinkled on top. That tiny dusting takes them from "good fries" to "hand me another basket immediately." And don't sleep on the fried shrimp platter. The shrimp are plentiful, nicely seasoned, and consistently one of my favorites when I somehow manage to order something besides lobster. I've had the whoopie pies. I've had the Snap Dogs. They're perfectly fine, I'm sure. But this body was not built on "perfectly fine." This body was built on the REALLY good stuff. LOBSTER. Bite of Maine remains my lobster-roll champion. Everybody else is just out here participating. Inside is cool and quaint, lobster eclectic with a community vibe. Service is fast!

My…read moredaughter remembered enjoying Bojangles chicken in Manhattan years ago, so we found the location nearest our hotel. When we arrived, Bree, the cashier, greeted us warmly. She was welcoming, helpful, and offered thoughtful order suggestions. She was also patient, professional, and knowledgeable, and she processed our orders and payments quickly and efficiently. The staff who prepared our food were friendly and attentive, making sure every order was correct. Their attention to detail was excellent from start to finish. I ordered Bo's chicken sandwich, not spicy, along with a biscuit and peach iced tea. The sandwich was well seasoned, and the biscuit was golden brown on top, pale on the sides, flaky on the outside, and soft and layered inside. Its flavor was rich, buttery, and mild. The peach iced tea was delicious, and altogether, everything was finger-licking good. The Bojangles team, from the cashier to the cooks and order preparers, worked together smoothly. Even during the busy lunch rush, they remained calm, friendly, and attentive with a wonderful sense of humor. I also had the pleasure of meeting Vince, the Director of Operations at this location. He represented the company exceptionally well. He was personable, efficient, and clearly skilled at managing both the team and production. During the lunch rush, I saw him clearing tables and greeting guests when the dining area became short-staffed because of the crowd. He gave clear, precise instructions without raising his voice, speaking to his staff in a calm and respectful way. The mutual respect between Vince and his team was easy to see. Until next time, keep up the great work.

I'm a Taco purist, preferring the regular Crunchy Hard Beef Tacos. Please no sour cream & other additives on my Tacos. Also don't give me that type of Taco with a soggy bottom that falls apart. Therefore Taco Bell's Tacos are the perfect choice for me. Service was good at the drive through window. My question about a multipack that they offered in the past was answered. I would have to order the Tacos individually. It did seem odd that my total came out to be an even $13. My Tacos were ready quickly and I drove away completely satisfied, It was only after I got home that I saw the reason for the $13 charge. The receipt has a line item that read "Donate Round Up" in the amount of 97 cents. Never once was I asked if I wanted to make a donation. What was the donation for? Even though it was only 97 cents, I feel cheated. My previous plan was to give this location a 4 Star review because of location and the fact that they offer Tacos that remain crunchy and don't fall apart. That all changed when I saw the "Donation Roundup" that I didn't approve. What's up Taco Bell? An explanation would certainly be appreciated.

I chose the Becca Burger, without mushrooms and their Steak Diablo Fries. They make everything fresh, to order with fresh ingredients. The burger was clearly freshly hand-packed, the jalapeños were freshly sliced, not pickled. Since they make it all fresh, you might wait a few minutes longer than the typical burger joint, but that's fine considering the amazing eats you're about to enjoy. My burger came out looking beautiful and it was definitely sitting tall! The flavor was excellent! Meat was great too!! I definitely liked having their chipotle mayo on it!! Those steak Diablo fries were incredibly tasty, with a nice kick, but sooo much more flavor than heat! The fries themselves were great, perfectly crispy and tasty, but adding all those toppings truly made it special! Service was nice... I had a few questions and she was helpful with the answers. Lastly, they have birch beer here, which I loved! Highly recommend stopping in for a great burger and fries experience!!

Unfortunately, today's experience was completely different. There were only two people waiting for food when we arrived, and after ordering, we waited over an hour without receiving our food. Between the long wait and the disappointing food, we all ended up eating about half of our meals and tossing the rest. It's disappointing because we had such a great experience here just a few months ago. Based on today's experience, we would not recommend this place. Hopefully this was just an off day, but unfortunately, it was not the experience we had hoped for.

We arrived about 4pm and the parking lot was kind of full but it still was a spot available for us. We walked in was greeted promptly and we had the option to sit inside or Dine Outdoors...knowing myself I love an outdoor adventure so outdoors we went... The Hostess mentioned they have a bridge that was open as well and I believe the bridge is open on Fridays and Saturdays if I'm not mistaken ... nevertheless we decided to dine on the bridge this past Friday. Omg so so so in love!! I can make this review probably about 2 pages long but I'll cut it short for you. Our super cute waitress Haley was the best... attentive informative personable a gem and made our first experience all the more amazing. We did ask for suggestions... she made suggestions for us... I ordered a cocktail and my bestie ordered a beer. My cocktail was just ok but he loved his beer of choice. We didn't want to order anything that was going to be heavy so we decided to split the Godfather Pizza and OMG it was so good so good. We knew we were returning before his departure. Here we are again Sunday during brunch hours and this time we invited another bestie it's a trio yes! We arrived about 2:00 p.m. and still decided to dine outdoors. I believe the bridge wasn't open for whatever reason on Sunday nevertheless we were able to sit on the patio. Our lovely waitress Katie was super as well. Haley and Katie kind of look like twins so I was like okay this experience will probably hit the same as Friday and needless to say it did. Katie was super awesome as well ...super attentive super patient I mean New River these two ladies are keepers and Katie shared with us that she's getting married soon so congratulations again pretty girl. Even though brunch was taking place you are still able to order pizza from the lunch / dinner menu. We ordered the Godfather again of course we ordered the chicken Parmesan pizza I forgot the name of that and the Hawaiian pizza all of them were good but my favorite on this go around was the chicken Parmesan pizza. I ate all of it even though we did share slices amongst us all the Godfather is definitely a close second. We tried the Mimosa flight it was okay I'm not a mimosa girl but the other two in my party they enjoyed it. I did have a glass of the Pinot Noir wine I'm definitely a red wine girl so the wine was right on time...right up my alley. We decided we love it here and when my bestie is visiting from Florida he already said this place is a must dine. And whoever was responsible for Designing the bathroom decor for the ladies very nice very nice. Have fun and enjoy life. :)
