Very clean inside and the service was fast. Made sure to get the cashiers name, Kennedy, because she really was just an all around pleasure to interact with. Acknowledged me right away even tho she was getting an order together, was nice and very polite and really just understood great customer service. My order was simple and she didn't have to go out of her way for anything but you don't see that kind of friendly service in fast food especially anymore. My husband and I were staying at Little Creek and after a long day we just wanted a quick meal. To our surprise it was a great meal with great service. I had the double roast beef, and it was excellent. My husband had the wrap and it was the best wrap that he has ever had at Arby's. Staff was very professional and the restaurant was clean. After being shocked the drive in line wasn't VERY long, as USUAL, I pulled up to the order window at about 7:00PM. After a long WAIT,while watching 2-3 employees lean on the counter and play on their PHONES, I received my two RB sandwiches, a simple order. Noting that the paper wrapper was cold, I opened both sandwiches, EACH was BARELY warm. I went back in to the empty restaurant and somewhat quickly received two more sandwiches, (an apology as well would have been nice). Worst experience. Went inside as the car in front of us was waiting several minutes to even be addressed by staff. 2 workers, one at drive through and one making food. Neither acknowledged us. We waited and finally a young, obviously very angry employee shuffled to the register with one arm inside her sweatshirt the whole time. She did not speak so we started ordering. She mumbled out total. We then waited a full 25 minutes to get our food which was on a tray not to go. When we asked for it to go there was some conversation among employees causing the register girl to get angry and storm out arguing and go sit in her car. 30 min total for Luke warm food and bad attitude! The saying "lipstick on a pig" seems appropriate for this renovated Arby's. It sure looks better but don't be fooled. I had not returned for four years and probably will not again. The Arby's chain has renovated most of their companywide stores in the U.S. this location saw a revamp last year I believe. It looks much better and updated. The service inside was slow, but friendly during ordering. The dining room has also seen a renovation, but almost every single table was dirty including the condiment counter. Even the trash was full during my week day noonish visit. I ordered a new limited release sandwich on the menu as a more healthy alternative. The turkey avocado club is one of three featured sandwiches "for a limited time" per their in store advertising. I was dining in and waited at the counter for my name. Two solo customers behind me got their order ahead which seemed odd. Does it take longer to construct this new sandwich? The manager pushed it across with no smile, have a nice day which was disappointing. The sandwich visually looked great! However, I quickly found lipstick on a pig again. The bread was fresh, but the after taste was peculiar and there was avocado but I could not taste it whatsoever. It's not a reasonable purchase for this new upgraded sandwich so it was wasted money. Before leaving I hit the restroom. They have been remodeled and are single use. Overall clean, but no paper towels. This store is heavily used by the military with the base so close. I think our U.S. military and everyone else deserves better than this Shore Drive Arby's. I will not return. read more

The woman who took our order, I think her name is Lauren, was very helpful and made sure the order was right. We'd ordered through Door Dash and informed our dasher that the location was notorious for getting items wrong so that if that were the case we wouldn't hold her accountable if that were the case. The service doesn't exactly let you inform them that the bags were sealed so the driver couldn't check unless you speak to an agent. As per usual it was the wrong order and she informed us that they would be remaking the order. As often as the items are missing, the people working here have always been incredibly nice when we go through the drive-thru and the dasher was a sweetheart, too. more than earned the tip we gave for going through the effort for us. We didn't make any demands. Simply stated 'hey, this place gets the order wrong more often than not. you totally have our permission to take a gander to make sure it's all there'. Our order arrived with stickers intact so there's no way she couldn't messed with it without ripping them. And since this was the new order she'd informed us was remade it made sense that it wouldn't have been opened again. So it's easy for us to assume that whoever had to remake our order decided to take it upon themselves to take a bite out of one of the sandwiches. During a global pandemic, in one of the worst off states. Are you kidding me? This is disgusting. This isn't even wanting a refund; the entire order is being thrown away. The issue here is that we're both immunocompromised and someone took a bite out of the food. We'd already eaten a bit from the bag before finding it. Now we're stressing out because we don't know who did this, where they've been, if THEY have covid. It's just easier to trash the whole thing. It was just such a pointless thing. I don't care how bad your day is, you don't do this. Especially not when there's already enough stress as is. It's just really unnerving because, again, the people here are so nice. So I've been going back and forth on writing a review on this place. Because everyone has always been so pleasant with me. I try to come here around 2pm to get their $1.00 menu deal. I have siblings and this big sister is not paying full price for these kids. Lol! So when I came I ordered a couple of those mini roast beef and buffalo chicken sandwiches, curly fries, and some chocolate shakes. I honestly love love me some curly fries and their milkshakes are pretty good. Their milkshake machine is never broken down like McDickies. As I waited on the side for my order. There was a lot going on with the staff members. I don't know if they were changing shifts or they were restocking stuff from the lunch crowd. The manager ( I think that was the manager) was very friendly to me and thank me for my patience. I was not in a super rush so I had time to wait since I was running errands. But the reason I'm writing this review is as I was standing patiently waiting for my order...... TELL ME WHYYYYY the lady in the back is eating the roast beef that she was putting in my sandwich. I know the sandwiches are tiny. But she should have put the pieces of meat that didn't fit in the sandwich back in the bowl and not in her mouth. I stood there in complete shock. I did not know if to cancel my order and ask for my money back. I stood there like WTH! My order came out and I took my food and left. I sat in my car for awhile in shock. Then I said to myself... "She probably was hungry....." Oh! Well! But I will definitely NOT be giving any of my bucks to Arby's anymore... With all the sickness going around in today's world. Five stars for the food and service which have always been pretty consistent here. My son absolutely loves it and always insists on coming here especially with his friends. This is my favorite Arby's in Tidewater. The people that work here always have a good attitude and are helpful and efficient. Whenever I'm in the mood for an Arby's roast beef - this is the one I like to visit. I often order an extra sandwich and double up the meat on the one I eat. My husband and I went to this location for a late lunch on Sept 26th, after doing errands all day. You can bet we were tired, hungry and on top of all that it was rainy outside. Went through drive-thru and was greeted kindly by the associate who took our order. I believe her name was Taneisha (from our receipt). After placing our order and pulling forward to the window, we received our meal pretty quickly. Which was fresh and tasted great! I would just like to say that it was nice to be greeted by Taneisha in a friendly and kind manner. If you go to other restaurants, staff might not be as friendly. This was a very nice experience. Stopped by yesterday to grab a quick bite to eat. The customer service is awesome. However, it is disgusting to see the person accept your money and handle your food with the same gloves on. Honestly, this is the only Arby's I will go to. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences every time I come. I usually swing by later at night in the last hour or two before closing for dinner. I'm not a huge fan of Arby's sandwiches, but I do love their shakes, mozz sticks and French fries (especially the loaded ones!).
