I was craving a legit burger with bacon and what better place to go than your local Five Guys. It's been awhile since I ate here. I've been to this location plenty of times in the past but I don't quite remember it being this good. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with barbecue sauce, grilled onions, and an extra patty. That makes it a triple cheeseburger, so triple the deliciousness. Paired this with a regular drink, and an order of regular cajun fries. I don't know why they don't offer combo meals, but the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. I forgot they stuff the entire bag with hella fries, which excited me. I went to get some sauce but noticed they only had ketchup in the condiment section. I asked the fry cook if I could get some additional mayonnaise and hot sauce and homie hooked it up no question. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. Dipped in mayo and it was game over. I finished off the fries and then went on to my burger. My goodness, that hit the spot. The patties were cooked to perfection, the flavor of the grilled onions paired with barbecue sauce...it was just what I was looking for. They also have one of those fancy soda machines. The pineapple fanta zero washed this meal down immaculately. My back definitely gained few inches satisfying this craving. I seriously think this Five Guys near the Lynnhaven Mall stepped it up. This is my second time at this store. I'm a fan of the franchise, but do believe it's pricy for families. The four star comes from the fact I think they do produce a delicious quality product. Since they added shakes last year this has bolstered their bottom line in my opinion. It has brought our family back more often any way. The order for my family was two cheeseburgers, and a bacon cheeseburger, fries with two shakes. The female cashier was friendly and patient with children deciding on their order. I always recommend the small fry, it easily serves a few people. Total $39. The dining room was completely clear of debris on tables a floor. Even the condiment area was tidy. No other customers were present on a weekday around 630. The shakes were up ahead of food which was great! Our number was called and the order was correct and food hot. Everyone enjoyed the tasty burgers and the Oreo Shake is my fave. Prior to leaving I used the men's room which I found clean with proper supplies I will continue to return to 5 Guys as our family enjoys. But the price point still pushes the limits in my opinion for families. The fact they never freeze their prime beef is another reason I'm will to pay more for quality. read more

I was so shocked by the quality of the food! This place charges waaay too much for their food for it to be mediocre. The appeal has to be their fresh ingredients because while my burger and fries were hot and fresh, they didn't have any flavor. I got a cheeseburger, fries, and a shake and paid $23!!! Love this place, I go every time I crave burgers. The menu is pretty simple. A little burger is one patty and the regular size has two patties. Although they don't offer combos, a large order of fresh cut fries feeds my family of 4! Love the fries with malt vinegar. The ambiance of the restaurant reminds me of a diner. Came here for an early dinner, ordered the mini cheeseburger with every ingredients except for pickle and jalapeno. P.S. it's free to add any ingredients and sauce. I also ordered a medium fries to share with my friend. The cheeseburger is hot and tasty. However, the patties is thinner than other bugers I had from other Five Guys. The fries is as always, hot n fresh. We should've order the small one because we're not big eaters. This place has been gassed up for way too long. These burgers are being sold for 10x more than what they're worth. They taste like something I'd eat at a family BBQ with kraft cheese slices. They have all these signs about reviews saying it's so great and cheap. Not a single thing on the menu was less then 5$ except a grilled cheese that i could make at home for 10 cents. I was craving a burger and good fries and didn't wanted it quick. Not a place where I had to wait a while like a diner. I work pretty close to Five Guys so this was the appropriate choice. I also like the fact that they have online ordering so that you can place your order and its ready when you get there. I placed an order at 12:52 according to my receipt with an estimated completion time of 1:05 which seems like enough time for them to prepare the order. When I arrived it appears as if my burger was just placed on the grill. I waited about 10 minutes for my order which is about the same time someone waited who walked in at the same time as me. Very annoying. The reason I placed the order online was because I didn't want to wait. Most places give preference to online orders and prioritize them first. I was very disappointed with this visit. I don't mind fries being dropped once I walk through the door but the burger would be dressed and ready. I wasn't super satisfied with the size of my "little burger" It was the size of the jr burger patty you get from the Wendys 4 for $4 and since my burger was over $5 alone I expected it to be a little bigger. You can customize your beverage experience which is great. But unless I'm dining in I am not paying over $2 for a fountain drink, especially if I just want a regular soda. I know they must meet the cost of operating this machine but it won't be coming from my pocket. The kosher Dogs are amazing! I know it is just a dog, but I like it. I 100% prefer a fry cut straight from the potato than some compressed, machine formed fry. So yes these fries are worth it. I didn't care for the Cajun fry so I'm sticking to the regular fry. I also appreciate that they give you PLENTY of fries!! Service is good, and friendly. Although at other locations I've experienced the kitchen staff singing, greeting me as I entered, maybe even a dance step or two. But not here. I've been holding off reviewing this place, because it's so hot or miss that you don't know if it's going to be great, or sadly disappointing. Well last night was another sadly disappointing waste of $55 at the "burger" joint. I bring my wife and kids after work for dinner. We each got a little burger, with an order of Cajun fries, and regular fries. For some reason the buns were ice cold, even though they were toasted. The fries were soggy in grease, undercooked and still kind of cold, and the burger wasn't really that great. The guy handing the food to us was pretty rude. When asking for ketchup, he hands me four packets...... ummm I have four burgers and two bags of fries, what is four little ketchup packets going to do. I ordered burgers for my sales staff today and everything was fine until I got back to my store and started to try and pass them out. No numbers or way to figure out who's was who's? Usually they are numbered, but not this time. I spent 25 minutes unwrapping my $220 order one at a time to be able for my busy staff to eat. This is completely unacceptable. You would figure when spending $11 on a burger and 19 of them, you could at least put a little sticker to identify which it is to match up to the item on the receipt. Omg!!!!!! My husband and I decided to try this for the first time today. Walked and it wasn't busy but smells great. I ordered the lil bacon cheeseburger and he ordered the bacon cheeseburger and just a large fry to share. It's nice to be able to watch them make your burger and love the fact that the meat is cooked after you order. Good no old cold patties sitten. When it came time to bag our food we saw a nice large size cup of fries. We thought ok that's good enough for us. Then all of a sudden we saw more fries being scooped up and dumped in our bag. Inside there was one other customer already eating and one person behind the counter. We said we were there for a pickup and he looked confused, looked at their receipt printer picked up a receipt and said "oh" and then began cooking the food while 3 other guys were walking out of the back chatting and laughing. So instead of paying attention to their point of sale system, they were just cutting up and we had to wait another 15 minutes on top of already waiting when we first put in the order. I don't mind people having a chance to chat and cut up in any industry, especially nowadays with things being so hectic for service workers, but I thought this was pretty silly. On top of that, they over cooked the fries, very dry and bland (no seasoning). They also didn't say anything like, "sorry for the wait" or "I'm sorry, I didn't even see this come up" or "hey since you have to wait a little longer, would you like a small cup to get a soda from the fountain?" You order "a la carte", meaning it's not a combo and you have to order fries if you want fries. The nice thing about that is that the fries are a pretty good sized serving so there's actually enough for 2 people to share. Five guys used to make the burgers they were super thick and juicy, they were awesome. they were something I treated myself to once a while. I just stopped by to pick one up and instead of these nice big thick juicy burgers now they do everything in their power to flatten them out as much as they can and they're smaller.
