Clean - inside the restaurant

Excellent location next to the I-50, this Subway is a must-stop on your way to SLT. Crew was very friendly, smiling and clearly interacting with customers. Sandwiches were perfect and tasty. Finally, the inside was clean well-maintained.

While on a bike ride from Placerville, I started to get hungry and could only think about this Subway I knew that was at our turn around point. Service was fast, incredibly nice (even though I was a little spaced out from hunger and kept asking for more veggies- everyone was really friendly and jovial), and the fireplace was a nice touch! I was also impressed with the view while eating my $4 sandwich! It was a great quick stop while you're on your way!

I decided to drive up to the Tahoe area for some down time and was passing through Placerville on my way up the 50. In N Out seemed like good stop for some lunch. This Placerville location is super easy on and off the freeway. Just take the Forni Road exit, keep right and it's right there. Easy back on the freeway too. I pull in and it's thankfully not too crowded. I go inside cause I don't wanna eat in my car. Inside looks just like every other In N Out, neat and clean. I get to the order taker all smiley, I decide to go for a 3 X 3 Animal style extra grilled onions. That's 3 patties of meat and 3 pieces of cheese. I'll skip the fries this time and have just water to drink. I wait a bit, I guess they're busy with the drive thru orders. My order is up! Wow, they really melted the cheese all over those 3 patties! I gotta open wide to fit that fat burger in my mouth. Yes, that meaty goodness fills my senses and I get this all happy feeling coming down all over me! Yes, that's what In N Out is all about!

I don't know if it's because at the time of writing this I am in a vehicle driven by a person who has no real taste in music or the fact last time eating at a different location it was crowded with teenagers. Service at all the locations which is about six now is fast and the people are friendly. the burgers do seem a little taster with out cheese to me the fry are on the same level as any other fast food fry So the end result is not bad and outstanding Just right in the middle.

Pleasantly surprised!…read more We stopped here on a whim on our way back from South Lake Tahoe, after a round of golf. Walked in, not expecting much, but at least some decent food to feed our hungry belly's. It was Saturday evening around 615ish, front of house was running around, but when she spotted us, showed us to our table, gave menus, and apologized as it might be a minute before our server would be able to take our orders because it has suddenly gotten busier than expected (large place but only about 1/4 full, but with 2 large groups, one of which was just seated before us) she came back with waters while we looked at the menu. Once our server came she was polite and took our drink order, promising to be back to take our food order. Understandably it took longer than usual to come back, so another man came to take our order. He apologized for the wait and said he would be happy to take our orders. We think he was the manager or possibly owner, really nice gentleman. We ordered the tiger prawns and Brussels sprouts appetizers, I ordered fish n chips, my husband ordered the rib eye with Mac n cheese and our friend ordered the salmon. The Tiger Prawns and Brussels came out first and the tiger prawns were amazing! 5 large tiger prawns, a couple pcs of toasted baguette, and in a type of white wine garlic Alfredo sauce type. The sauce was perfection, as I dipped each bite of prawn and soaked the accompanied bread. The Brussels were just as amazing, fried to have a nice crisp to it, but not soaking in oil, so they must've been fried in the perfect temp oil or something, and the glaze was just right (a lot of places just drench them in glaze as they're sitting there soaked in oil, but not the case here!) The ribeye was cooked very well (medium rare) and the hubby thought the salt level was PERFECT. It was a little salty for me, but I don't like a lot of salt. My husband almost always orders a good steak when available, and he thought it was great. The accompanying side of veggies were great too! Heavy on the garlic, but we love garlic so we thought it was perfect. The fish n chips were good, fries were ok, but not my style. They were more like shoe string fries, but that's their thing and a lot of people like that style. The tartar sauce was surprisingly good, and not just that cheap store bought stuff a lot of places tend to give. Friend with the salmon said it was good and ate it all. The gentleman that took our order forgot to add the fish n chips, but quickly rectified it, apologizing and bringing out some fries for me to munch on as the fish was getting cooked. Not a big deal to me, as I was already happy with the other items we had. He also came to our table once we were done and chatted with us for a bit, which was very nice of him. Overall the food was pretty good and would recommend stopping here if you have a chance when you have some time to relax while you eat. The staff are all nice personable. Sorry I didn't get to take pics of everything, as we were all really hing

This mcdonalds cant make a latte to save their life for whatever reason. I go in the morning one…read moreday and ask them for an iced caramel latte. On their drive through menu it reads that i rang up an iced coffee. I tell the worker "latte, not a coffee" and she said "oh, its the same thing". No its not, but i assumed she just entered it that way on the menu for whatever reason. I get to the window and she says "here's your latte" as she hands me a REGULAR ICED COFFEE. Idk if they're just stupid or they were too lazy to make an actual latte during morning rush. Either way dont make me waste my money on something i didnt order or ask for. On a 2nd occcassion i gave them another chance and tried ordering through the app so theyd actually get my order right and they gave me a latte that wasnt mixed at all and tasted weird, tasted half like a regular coffee and half like latte syrup. Anyways these guys just cant get it together. You'll have much better luck at the one in diamond springs area. Only plus is that service is usually fast and good when im ordering a food item, but dont go here for coffee lol

I came to Burger & Cream with my friend, and we had such a great time! I ordered the Western Burger…read moreand decided to make it a double because apparently one patty just wasn't enough for me that day, lol. It came loaded with Tillamook cheddar, crispy bacon, onion rings, mayo, and their gourmet BBQ sauce. The burger was juicy, cheesy, smoky, and slightly sweet without the BBQ sauce overpowering everything else. Adding that second patty made it a beast of a burger! It was way too much for me to finish in one sitting, but that worked out perfectly because it became two meals and how the heck was it more delicious the next day? My friend ordered the Boss Burger, which came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion rings, Swiss and American cheeses, and their signature sauce. He made his a double too, which turned an already fully loaded burger into something absolutely massive! Both burgers looked impressive when they arrived. By the time I barely finished my half, he was practically done with his burger... how the... well, lol, he's a man! The restaurant was crowded when we visited, and only about half of the tables were clean. However, the customer service here is always great. I also like that they keep water available on the counter so you can easily help yourself. We had a great time laughing, talking, and even chatting with other customers who shared our love for Burger & Cream. That made the experience even more enjoyable! Of course, you can't come to Burger & Cream without checking out the desserts. We chose a chocolate cookie dessert made with chocolate ice cream, took it back to my place, and shared it there. It was rich, chocolatey, and the perfect sweet ending to a fun time with my friend.

A Great Burger, a Little Nostalgia, and a 20-Minute Test of Patience…read more I've been bringing my family to this location for years--back when it was a Foster Freeze. This place has some history for me. Many a Friday night, when I was the Defensive Coordinator for Lincoln High School, I'd find myself here. And on those hot summer days, my wife and I would stop in with our son Jonathan before heading off to watch Lincoln play Nevada City. So, yes... I have a little emotional investment in this place. Fast-forward to today, and I'm happy to report that the burgers are still worth talking about. The buns were soft, the meat was flavorful, and the whole burger experience hit the spot. And, of course, my family gave the milkshakes their official seal of approval--which, in my household, is basically a Michelin star. The menu has plenty of good options, there's outdoor seating, and the staff is genuinely working hard. They're multitasking like their lives depend on it, so every once in a while you may need to repeat your order. But honestly, I'd rather see people working hard and trying to take care of everyone than standing around looking bored. Parking can be a bit challenging, too. Consider it part of the dining experience--your appetizer is finding a parking space. So why only four stars? The wait. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. It wasn't terrible, but when you're hungry enough to start considering whether ketchup packets are technically a meal, 20 minutes feels like a lifetime. That said, the food was really good, the staff was friendly, and there's a genuine sense that people are working hard to make this place successful. Bottom line: Great burgers, excellent milkshakes, a solid menu, friendly people, and a little nostalgia thrown in for free. I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try. Just remember: bring your appetite, a little patience, and maybe say your order twice. Four stars--and I'll definitely be back.

I tried the char siu and meat lovers sandwiches which were both on nicely grilled Texas toast. The flavor of the char siu sandwich reminded me of cake noodle and beef broccoli because of the ramen noodles and the overall flavor of the sauce. I didn't get any of the bamboo shoots in the sandwich or maybe they were chopped really small? The char siu was decent, not super tender and not the typical char siu flavor but it wasn't bad. The meat lovers sandwich had a noticeable sweet flavor I'm assuming from the spaghetti sauce but it really lacked depth. It honestly reminded me of canned spaghetti and a sloppy joe. It also seemed like there was no ranch dressing even though it's part of the sandwiches name. I appreciate the creativity and whimsy they've put into their menu. I just don't think the execution and flavor profiles are where they should be.
