While on a bike ride from Placerville, I started to get hungry and could only think about this Subway I knew that was at our turn around point. Service was fast, incredibly nice (even though I was a little spaced out from hunger and kept asking for more veggies- everyone was really friendly and jovial), and the fireplace was a nice touch! I was also impressed with the view while eating my $4 sandwich! It was a great quick stop while you're on your way!

Hands-down the best subway experience I've ever had and it's because of this young woman! Her customer service skills are extraordinary! She is personable and efficient.

Stale food with small portions and a not so friendly staff. Used to be good when we moved up here, but it went downhill.

Good clean subway location. By far best deal in town for your money. Great hot pastrami. Ask for the meat to be heated longer

I always order a foot long and it is plenty for two days. The servers are very courteous and willing to help in any way you might need.

I have been in here to buy stuff. I have been in here to use the restroom. I've never been treated differently. I've always been treated very kind and nice. I'm able to come in here and buy snacks and all the pricing is pretty good. They do have everything that every Safeway has which is really nice. You know what to expect you can get vegetables you can get meat. You can get all kinds of things and just because this is the only Safeway or grocery store in the area they don't have their prices raised in a super huge bracket which a lot of stores would do just because they're the only one in the neighborhood

One of them was very jittery and animated which portrayed he was on drugs. Safeway, there are better jobs for these type workers than handling people's food. Please make a change.

Perfect Spot for a Fall Day [Apple Hill|Camino CA]…read more The number of orchards in Apple Hill can be overwhelming that's why each year my eldest daughter always has a game plan to visit farms we haven't tried yet (and some repeat visits to our favorites) This was my first time at the Apple Ridge Farms. We spent most of our time here. There was a lot to do including an actual u-pick Apple orchard. Apple Ridge Farms is dog friendly. BBQ and Bakery with a full menu including sandwiches, salads and sides. They had a special on apple pies this weekend... $20 for a whole pie. Picnic Area - got our lunch and enjoyed it in the covered picnic area. Love their fries! Apple Barn - frozen pies, pastries, apple cider, fresh apples, Christmas boutique Country Store - filled with jams, jellies, fudge, chocolates, and great gift ideas Nature trail - visitors are able to choose between an easy trail and a not-so-easy trail. We chose the easy trail but I think they are both easy. Flower trail - unfortunately our visit was in early November and we missed when the flowers were in bloom. September would be the best time to visit and check out the colorful zinnias. Free to access. Gem mining - daughter has enjoyed this activity in other places since she was little. She's 23 now and still has fun with this experience. There is a fee for this activity. Pop ups Artisan Crafters - arts & crafts including wood works, handmade jewelry, handcrafted soaps and candles, paintings, dried nuts and fruits. Unique finds! Face painting - we did not do this activity due to time constraints but daughter had wanted one of Patrick Starr (SpongeBob Square Pants)... next time! Portable toilets are on-site. The moment you arrive, you're greeted with kind, welcoming service and a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. With both indoor and outdoor dining areas, fire pits crackling in the background, and a beautiful vineyard just steps away, the setting couldn't be more inviting. From hearty savory dishes like the tender pulled pork and comforting chicken pot pie to sweet indulgences like homemade cookies and an impressive array of fruit pies, every bite tastes fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and deeply satisfying. As a bonus, the farm is conveniently located near Grandpa's Cellar and Apple Ridge Farm, making it the perfect stop during a day of local exploring. Sounds like it would be a bunch of flavors but they just marry. The chicken pot pie was hot and fresh and busting with chicken and flavors. The grilled cheese had a nice crunch but I would probably change the ham to one that was a little less sweet. Drew bean has indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of options with shade. They also have a little porch area for seating. Nurses and military personnel are given a discount!
