Okay so I read some of the earlier reviews and idk. I thought this place was great. The girl was super nice and tbh this is the best looking subway sandwich I've had in a while. When I walked in the girl was helping someone in the drive thru so I had to wait a few minutes but she greeted me and let me know what she was doing so all good. Went in today, super disappointing. We were in a rush trying to get to a wedding and subway sounded so good! We had 30 minutes to order, eat, and leave so not too rushed I guess but when we got there they took our order fast and then the people in front of us couldn't get change back from the money they paid. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to figure that out and they refused to ring anyone else up until they figured that out. They only needed to give back $4 cash but the manager couldn't do the math even on her calculator. The manager was extremely rude to all the customers and even the employees. My husband and I felt bad for the kids working there having to deal with her. Won't be returning to this location. read more

Don't eat at this location of Subway unless you're ready to be grossed out and likely get sick! Why, oh why didn't I check the reviews before stopping here??? My favorite breakfast sandwich is at Subway, they are consistently clean and friendly in my experience, the employee was nice enough once they let us in the store. We arrived at 8:59, they opened the restaurant at 9:03. The woman who unlocked the door was an employee but in no way acknowledged us, had a short conversation with the male coworker and left. He began preparing our order needing to go to the back four times for different items; eggs, knives, flat bread, gloves (not necessarily in that order thank heavens!) Another two sets of people arrived so he started their orders in the middle of ours, so as he neared completion on their cold sandwiches, our hot sandwiches got cold. When I went to get a drink I was amazed by how gross and dirty the drink area was, remember, we were the FIRST customers of the day! I'm certain by virtue of the placement of the soda machine and the way I'm feeling right now that they never clean that machine. I used the restroom before we left and the trash can was full to overflowing, and there were bits of trash including a used bandaid on the floor. UGH! read more

THIS SUBWAY is NOT keeping clean for COVID-19. I came in to this location with my boyfriend for a quick stop to get food. We waited 40 minute with no apology from employees, as well as they were doing other orders right in front of us but did not help us or say anything just left us standing there. Once we finally got helped, NOT ONE of the employees was nice or had any customer service background because that is not a way to treat customers. On top of that, the employees were passing their headset back in forth WITH THEIR GLOVES ON and then TOUCHING THEIR HAIR AND FACE AND EARS AND THEN DIRECTLY TOUCHING FOOD WITHOUT CHANGING GLOVES. Also did not change gloves when using the phone. Absolutely not okay will never be coming back. read more

Not a great experience today. Staff was slow to acknowledge us when we arrived and in they in need of some customer training. A sandwich special was posted but neither server was aware of it or willing to honor the offer without owner approval (which was never answered). Trash cans were full and customer lines were backing up while the servers were deciding what to do. Food was as good, and as expected, but the servers were more worried about their boss than us as customers. Seriously, why would I ever go back? read more

I went into subway at this particular location on a Saturday at 5:30 PM and I was told the only bread that they had was a 6 inch piece of white bread a 6 inch piece of wheat bread and something about a tomato wrap or something. We went there on May 22 @ 2021. Wasn't too busy so ordered 2 foot longs. Mine was a meatball. Big mistake. Just before we entered the store, the guy put some "frozen" meatballs in the bin with no marrinara sauce. When we got home a few minutes later, the meatballs were still cold, no sauce, and they still had the frozen fat in the meat. Terrible. I threw the sandwich in the garbage. We've been going here for 2 years and never had a problem. Never get the meatball sandwich again. The fact is not sure that they care what anyone says, anyway. I waited 4 minutes for them to realize that I was in the store, and another 4 minutes for the obviously new employee to get to asking me what I wanted. I get it, I work in food and you can't always be on top of your game but a sense of urgency is a must when someone is watching you make food for them. Bad, just bad idea to eat here. I saw the other negative reviews were quite old, so we gave it a chance. I mean how bad could a subway be? BAD. Bathrooms were filthy, should've been my first clue. Staff was sitting in the dining room playing music on phones and reading books. Then they were out of everything, scoopers, meat, cheese, veggies, mayo...the chip rack had about 6 bags on it. This location is a joke! We literally timed them and it took them a whole 12 minutes to even greet us in the drive thru and there were no other customers. But we have to drive to the other side of town in the Walmart to get a decent sub. We both prefer the meatball sub and for some odd reason, no matter what time of day the classy, egh hem, lazy, managers alway something generic statement like oh we are waiting on those and give a ridiculous time (obviously trying to push for an "easier" sub to make). And when they miraculously have kind of done their jobs, the meatballs are dry as dirt with caked on sauce, been sitting for sooo long on the steamers. I'm a restaurant general manager so it's not like I'm asking too much for an eating establishment to have ready to serve, what is on their menu. It's any every day item. Not specialty. Place reeks of poor management. When I said with a sigh today, man you guys NEVER have meatballs ready (haveway jokikg trying to be Nice while also showing disappointment) the whole crew, Following the managers lead, mad dogged me and made me feel so uncomfortable the rest of the time. DO NOT EAT AT THIS SUBWAY IN PAYSON!!!! I ordered a ham and turkey on white and when I got it home the bread was like eating a crouton! I took the sandwich back to the store and gave it to the young man at the window and he agreed the sandwich was sub-par. When I asked him to give me my credit and a free sandwich for another time, due to the sandwich they let go out the door. He said he could not do that. That he had no authority to "make it right". I asked to speak to the manager, only to be told that there was not a manager on site. I then told him to get the manager on the phone. He made several attempts to reach a "manager" then he finally got a call back. I spoke to the manager on the phone and was told there was nothing she would do but give me my money back or make another sandwich. They offered to make me a sandwich on a different kind of bread than I had ordered originally. I told them that if they couldn't make the sandwich on the bread I ordered in the first place, then I wanted a free sandwich in the future, plus my money back for the first "messed up" sandwich. They continued to tell me they would not help me. I then asked for my money back. No sandwich, no free sandwich to make up for the time I had to travel back to the store from my home to give them the original dry sandwich. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This franchise needs to fire everyone, including the managers and get someone in there who will make this store at least a two star store! I will never in my life go to this store again!!!!! BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!!!!!
