It is known to be a popular souvenir if you ever visit Tokyo Japan and they say they sell these in limited areas and at the airport of Tokyo. These are stored in the chest freezer cooler on the floor. They are usually $14.99 but they were on sale for $12.99 the time I got them. I heard these are $7.99 in Tokyo LOL. Anyway this day it was crowded and they had a few floor samples of items they sell. Some were dumplings, rice cake soup, hawaiian juices as examples. I was in and out cause of the crowds but I snatched packets of miso soup, the Tokyo Banana and rice crackers. Hmart offers a rewards program so sign up when you can to get couppns etc! I always enjoy shopping here but it can get overwhelming and crowded. As far as ready to eat foods - I heard the meat bento boxes some are spoiled tasting. But the Kimbap I have enjoyed. I'd recommend you either hit the food court up first if you're hungry and then do your shopping. We got there on a Wednesday night around 5:30 and it was fairly steady, but there was still plenty of seating. They don't have many individual tables. A lot of their seating is open style seating so you could be at a table with multiple other people. They do have outdoor seating as well, but where the outdoor seating is located is also the side of sun sets on, so it definitely gets warm. I chose a pre-designed salad, the southwest salad. It's a mix of spring greens with corn kernels, black beans, tortilla strips, and a jalapeño avocado ranch dressing. I did opt to put chicken on mine so that does increase the price a little bit because you do have to pay for protein. Overall, the salad was really good very fresh and the chicken definitely tasted like it was cooked fresh as well. I will say the bathroom situation is a little odd as they are unisex bathrooms, but there are only two of them in the building. One of them each time I went up to try to use the restroom was consistently locked, so I'm not sure if it was out of order but it was locked each time I went up. On a busy day - having just two bathroom stalls seems like a design flaw. My biggest complaint is the parking situation. The small strip mall has not only this location but a coffee shop and a tea shop in it as well as a Pilates studio and the parking lot is just simply too small to support all of that business. I ended up parking on the side street because it was so much easier versus trying to fight to find a parking spot.

As expected, we know going into these food stalls that the prices will be premium due to the expected high rent that these places probably pay. So when we saw waffle sandwich bar, we thought the prices seemed reasonable. The brisket melt waffle sandwich looked reasonable at $18. With taxes and the service fee that all restaurants charge at the hall, it came out to $20. We were expecting a generous based on the price, but we were extremely disappointed with the 3 slices of chopped brisket in the sandwich, and the small size of the waffles. The flavor was good but I'm worried this place won't be able to survive as I am usually pretty forgiving with restaurants but I had to be honest about our experience here. I hope if they continue charging these prices that they'll be a bit more generous with their portion size going forward.
