We had read about this Pizza Hut and their famous all you can eat buffet. We decided to see what all the hype was about it. Many years ago, we had enjoyed the weekly Monday night buffet at a local Pizza Hut which is now shut down. We arrived about 15 minutes after they started for the day. The staff was super friendly and we chose where we wanted to sit. We were asked about drinks and offered a prepared side salad. We declined the salad and made our way to the buffet. There were two types of breadsticks, one dipping sauce, pasta, and a few different pizzas. Everything looked fairly fresh. If you have any memory of the old Pizza Hut buffets, this was a much smaller, scaled down version. The food was quickly replaced as it ran out. The staff checked on us only once before we went to pay at the end. The pasta was not good. The breadsticks were great. The pizza was just ok. The atmosphere was lacking as there was as no music playing in the restaurant at all. It was completely silent. You could clearly hear conversations in the kitchen, as well as one customer who had his phone propped on his table and was watching social media reels. I don't know if we would make the drive to return. We only had a couple breadsticks and two slices each. The cost was appropriate to the experience. I think if you go in with low expectations, you will enjoy it. If you go in hoping for the nostalgia of the old Pizza Hut buffet, you will be disappointed. read more

I wish I was not hungry enough to take a picture. I ordered a supreme pizza with garlic parm as the base sauce. My wife requested it and loved it. I did too even though I love red sauce but the white sauce is good. The person who met me at the counter made the pizza , made sure I paid and went back to work. Fantastic job ( he had longer hair and a small beard with a mitt or mask over the beard). The inside of the store reminded me of the 90s which I liked. We've ordered from this Pizza Hut a few times over the years. They always have really good deals. I tried their wings for the first time during their BOGO wings deals on Wednesdays. You get 2 - 6 piece traditional or boneless wings for $11.29. I selected the spicy garlic and the naked wings. Both were really good. The wings were crispy and meaty. I liked these better than the ones from Papa John's. I grew up on Pizza Hut pan pizzas out in Southern California. My mom's go to was pepperoni and jalapenos on a pan crust. Every now and then, I get a bit nostalgic and order from Pizza Hut for that reason. The pan style pizza is tasty and crispy but very greasy. I would definitely order the wings again. read more

Had to try the only Pizza Hut buffet in central Fl. They open at 1030 am but buffet doesn't actually start till 11am. We got there at 1045 and were seated quickly. It was empty but once 11am hit it was very busy inside! A mix of tables and standard booths. Few staff workers but the 2 front of house were friendly and efficient. Food moved quickly and rarely was the buffet area empty. This is just pizza, pasta and breadsticks. We were served a salad but it's not a salad buffet as well. For the price can't beat it! Usually my visit to this Pizza Hut location is seamless and no issues. But tonight was interesting. My ready time was 7:34pm, I arrived at time given and found my 1st warning sign was probably about 4 customers ahead of me waiting on there order (was not aware at hat moment.) so I gave them my name and they said it's working. Ok cool, it's Friday no big deal. But I later found out my order wasn't even started yet. I didn't receive my order until 8:14pm with no explanation, no apologies nothing. You know the phrase "they don't make 'em like they used to"? That can easily be applied to this Clermont Pizza Hut location. This is one of the few Pizza Huts left in the country that still does the classic all-you-can-eat weekday lunch buffet. Arriving at 11:45 AM I was immediately seated and my waitress was quick to bring me a soft drink. Then on to the buffet where there was piping hot pizza fresh out of the oven in a variety of flavors, both thin and thick crust, veggie lovers, and meat-filled. They had breadsticks and a tray of baked noodles with sauce. I saw signs advertising a salad to go along with the pizza buffet but my waitress didn't mention it. I was okay with that, as I was focused on the pizza. As the restaurant filled up, they kept the buffet stocked with pizza, making it so there was little waiting around for the next batch to come out. Pizza Hut's Pan Pizzas, with a nice buttery crust flavor, are pretty good. My favorites are the vegetarian and the jalapeño pepperoni. I suggest adding a special request of "well done" to add crispiness. read more

Went for my first Pizza Hut buffet in nearly 20 years, and it was everything I remembered it was. Friendly staff were helpful in asking if wanted anything special on the buffet (we did), cleaning the table and refilling drinks. Just found out that when you call the local number you are now speaking to a phone center that you can barely understand and no longer speaking to someone in the store. Got through my ordering and was told 35 minutes. I called just before 5 pm and it is now 6:15 - no pizza yet. So I called the same number and asked to be put through to the store - finally got a very unpleasant person who indicated our pizza was still at the store and will take another 15 minutes or so. Was told it was because of the supper rush - I asked why they didn't say that in the first place - he said they were busy. We will no longer order from them - such a shame as we are a long time customer. Companies continue to change how they handle the customer - long waits on this new phone plan and lots of ads bombarding you. What a terrible way to run a business. read more

We didn't get our wings which was disappointing, but they did give us wings in another hour or so which made up for it, but they weren't traditional as those who know chicken can appreciate. I'm not a huge Pizza Hut(chain restaurant) fan, but it's now my favorite place for lunch. The Clermont Pizza Hut brought back its lunch buffet for only $8.99, and you can't beat the deal. We saw they had a sign up mid summer and started going about 2x a month. It's between 11am-2pm Monday - Friday only and they have a little bar of different pizzas and continually bring out new ones once one is half empty. We always get the same waitress, and I think she's the only waitress. Let me tell you, she is on it. As soon as you come in, she greets you, tells you to take a seat anywhere comes and asks what you want to drink and if you would like a salad. The first time, I was disappointed to see no salad on the bar, but they keep them in the back now & bring one out for you, but I like that approach better to be honest. Then you have various pizzas (thin crust, pan, & regular) to choose from at the bar, bread sticks (sweet & regular) and a pasta that they rotate between a tomatoe based one and alfredo one, I love when they have the alfredo one out I'm definitely gettting some. Hot and Fresh delivery is what my review is on. While visiting Orlando I hate a late night craving. I went online through PizzaHut.com's secure website and built a pizza for myself. The very user friendly online web portal allowed me to play around and helped me to decide to order something different for a change. The great pricing of $5.00 for a medium sized one item pizza pie tempted me. I did something different this time I orders the pretzel crust on a pan pizza instead of the traditional crust. My order came within the time frame of the promised delivery time. The driver was very nice and my pizza was perfect. Matter of fact I forgot how much I love Pizza Hut. That pretzel bread is AMAZING. The flavor really gave my pizza a nice kick. I will be sure to order this again. If I'm back here again I will be sure to order from this location again. read more

This is an old fashioned style Pizza Hut, and you can still dine in. We ordered at the counter and they brought the food out to us when it was ready. There are still remnants of Pizza Hut past, with the buffet table there, not in use. The food was hot/fresh and cooked perfectly. It has been many years since I ate inside a Pizza Hut. Based on this experience, I will dine in here again. The employees were all pleasant and friendly. My only suggestion is to resurface the parking lot. It was a great experience overall. read more

So we stopped in tonight after the weekly grocery shopping. We got to the front and the lady was in the back messing around on her phone. I called her 3 times before she came over. WOW. REALLY? She's the host??!!! I thought that meant meeting and greeting customers. We ordered our food and drinks, but she never came back with straws. We have little kids. We had to ask another waitress for straws 10 minutes after the drinks were served. Granted Pizza Hut isn't a high end joint, but at least have some level of customer service and interact with the your customers. read more

I want to give a huge shout-out to my delivery driver, Ronald, from tonight. I have two dogs who are wild, to say the least. I had a request on my order to give me a call when the driver arrived; however, I knew he had arrived as my dogs saw the car and went ballistic at the door. Essentially, throughout the entire transaction, Ronald asked me multiple times if I was sure that I didn't want him to walk the food to the door and even offered to help me with the door once he had already started to drive away. I order pizza a lot (I know, I know.. it's one of my vices). It's always an awkward conversation to say "hey, my dogs are embarrassing, I'm good with coming out to you." Everytime and I mean EVERY TIME we go there or pick up the food is perfect. It's a fast food pizza...and is a perfect fast food pizza! The Pizza's toppings appear to be scorched. When ordering double extra cheese "on top" of all the other toppings, it appears that, upon viewing the pie prior to purchase, there is no cheese or very little on top. Manager stated that the cheese melts and runs off of the toppings. Most recent attempt to purchase the double extra cheese on top resulted in a big " glob" in the center. Employees were sloppy and unkempt and make line personnel were not wearing hair covers. Manager was rude when confronted with Pizza problems. My most recent experience with this Pizza Hut was inconvenient to say the least. I placed my order online a full hour in advance which should have allowed for my order to be ready when I arrived, right? Wrong. As I was pulling into the parking lot my phone rang yet I was unable to answer it as I was driving. That was at 6:29pm. I went inside to pick up my order which I had requested to be ready at 6:30pm but was informed it would be a few mins. before it was ready. 12 mins. later my order was ready, I paid, and left. Upon the return to my car I checked to see who I had missed a call from; it was Pizza Hut, calling to say they were out of pineapple and would just make me a plain pepperoni pizza. No one mentioned anything about this to me at the counter when I picked up my order so I checked the box and sure enough no pineapple. I decided to look at my receipt since I had paid extra for the additional topping and noticed that I had been charged for the pineapple even though it was not received. I took my receipt and my phone back inside and explained to the clerk and then the manager on duty, that I had not only been charged but also that no one cared to contact me to inform they were out of pineapple until 1 min. prior to pick-up even though I had ordered a whole hour in advance. To top it off, I had to wait 12 mins. for them to bake my pizza - what was the point of placing an advance order online then? The manager did apologize and applied a $10 credit to my account for which I am grateful however, they do need to work on better customer communication. My only other complaint and I know I'm not alone in saying that parking is horrible! Many times you have to wait for someone to leave so that you can park and many people park in the grass, handicap spots, and other no parking areas. read more

Horrible experience! I ordered online for carry out and paid in advance to avoid any unnecessary contact at the restaurant. The screen message said it would be ready at 7:35pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:33pm. When I went inside, the cashier was on the phone. I walked up to the counter and stayed back about 6 feet as per the COVID 19 recommendations. The cashier continued to talk on the phone. I noticed a pizza on the counter with a receipt sticking out. I also saw a two people in the cooking area. While waiting for the cashier to get off the phone, I noticed that a male employee in the kitchen was touching and handling food with his bare hands. I then saw the cashier wiping her nose with her bare hand. When the cashier finally got off the phone, about ten minutes after I arrived, she reached in her pocket and gave me a pen to sign the receipt. I had paid online just to avoid contact like that. She then went and got the pizza I had seen on the counter. This was not only bad service but I consider it to be dangerous unhygienic behavior on the part of the employees. During this time, in the middle of a pandemic, you would think that Pizza Hut would take this seriously and consider the health and safety of their customers, and their staff, as well. read more

I love Pizza Hut with an unhealthy fervor. So for my 30th birthday I decided to go to none other than one of my favorite restaurants since my girlfriend normally doesn't like going there. When we get inside we are offered the buffet, mind you it's about 6:45. We are sat at the smallest table in the entire place despite numerous booths haven't been bussed all around us and we proceed to eat what's offered. After a while there are no new pizzas being brought out so my girlfriend asks the manager if they could possibly take a request for a thin crust sausage pizza which is my absolute favorite. Evidently the manager was rude with my girlfriend and told her the buffet was "over" at 7 which was never made aware to us. After that we proceeded to eat the rest of the boring, now-cold pepperoni pizza and never get refills. I was very displeased with how poor my 30th birthday dining experience went. This Pizza Hut store was Fairly easy to find by Apple Maps. ThE confusing part is all of the u turns you have to make because of how the roads are built. We were so hungry fOr pizza and at home we love our Pizza Hut. This store #026540, was not nearly as good. When we first walked in we noticed the salad bar had not been wiped down in some time. I didn't think too much about it because on buffet night it can become messy looking in a very short while. However, we were there an hour or more and it was never wiped down. That is not acceptable. When our order was taken, one of our group has a severe milk allergy, the waitress was told about it. Our friend ordered a single serve pizza, pepperoni and pork sausage, no cheese. All three of us stressed how important this was and that it must be cut with a clean knife. My friend wanted the salad bar as well. She went up to get a salad only to see cross contamination so bad she didn't dare have any. After I had completed eating from the buffet her single no cheese had not yet been served. After waiting a while longer the waitress finally returned to the table saying her no cheese pizza had to be remade because it had cheese on it. A very tragic thing could have happened tonight.
