We had a all meat pizza that we enjoyed the crust was amazing, also had the prosciutto and arugula pizza it was not as good but the crust was amazing it was dry and had vinegar on it not a good flavor combo. I also had the fresh market salad it was excellent. The service was excellent and friendly The store was clean and pleasant. We look forward to our next visit. read more

It's fine. Not the best pizza ever, but it's a solid B in taste. Have dined here planty of times with a large family group, and it's always good. The service ain't super fast, but they're usually quite busy on weekend nights when we've gone. Nothing wrong here and it's a solid step up from the bigger, faster chains. read more

Food is phenomenal especially the chicken pesto sandwich... great family friendly place and environment very peaceful even when busy.

*** To go*** The pizza always looks picture. Perfect! I ordered wings this time just to give them a shot and they are pretty good. Full on size and full on flavor as well. This was a to go order so I'm not too sure how the inside services. Make sure you give it a shot because I had no problems ordering this to go. read more

Great food, pizza is great and the wings are some of the best in town! Baked!! Wait staff is friendly and quick to take your order and check in from time to time! read more

The Clermont Flippers is a hidden gem. The on tap craft beer choices rival many bars and they only stock 4-5. But they are EXCELLENT local beers. Nothing mediocre here. We also love the pizza. Crust and ALL ingredients fresh which makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! read more

Food was and service was excellent. Portions were abundant. Come again? Yes ... definitely

Great take out pizza- we ordered and had it delivered within 30 minutes. Mediterranean and Margarita pizzas were awesome.

If you like Pappa John's or Domino's then this is your place. Don't mistake this for real NY pizza, not even close.

Great price definitely worth it! Great service from Aubrey! And the food was delicious.

Visiting from out-of-state and ordered thru DoorDash. The sauce tastes incredible and of course FRESH basil!! This is a thin crust, just like NY. read more

This pizza place ranks really low out of all the pizza places that I have been to. We ordered the barbecue wings and the carne di italia pizza. The food took forever to come out. I understand that it does take some time to bake a pizza, but it took at least 45 minutes before our wings came out, and then we had to wait some more for our pizza to come out. During our waiting time, we even witnessed another person, who got there before us, leave because his order took too long. Our server came over a lot to apologize for the wait and to keep assuring us that our food would come out soon. The food did come out fresh and hot so that is a plus. The size and quantity of the wings though was small and kind of pricey for what you get. There's nothing special about the wings. It was oven baked and the skin was not crispy at all. I make wings all the time, so I know it is definitely possible to have crispy wings when you oven bake them. The pizza came out next, and it was definitely not the best pizza that I have tasted. The pizza was super soggy on the bottom. It was impossible to eat by hand without the pizza falling apart, so I had to eat the pizza with a fork and knife. The prosciutto overwhelmed all the other ingredients on the pizza and made the pizza too salty. read more

Deliciously made fresh pizza! I NEVER get tired of eating here. I love how you can have two in one. In other words, can't decide between 2 pies? It's all good, combine them to make one pie. For example, half can be margarita and the other half can be supreme. Double the taste buds and fun!!! When in doubt, pick 2, lol! Can't wait to go try out some new pies! read more

Amazing delicious pizza from Matt, Great service from Bella she was very talkative, kept it positive!

Long wait and by far the worst pizza ever had Slow service and watched the staff play with there hair and then make pizza and wait around Lack of organization Poor show read more

This is in a plaza with Jimmy Johns and a few other places. They have 5 outdoor tables, most with umbrellas. The y require masks and have the inside tables spaced well apart for COVID. Ordered the Mediterranean salad which is perfect to share, enough for 2 or 3 people. The ingredients were all very fresh Also got a pizza with ham & pineapple (the Hawaiian on the menu includes bacon). The crust was good and the toppings were fresh. Fair amount of cheese. I wasn't crazy about the sauce, it wasn't bad, just didn't have the usual pizza sauce flavor. They serve Pepsi products so for that and the sauce only 4 stars, but I will back - the fresh ingredients are delicious. read more

We went during the lunch special and got the best of both worlds to try 4 different pizzas (half and half)! The hostess was super nice and gave great suggestions and the food was fresh to order and I was surprise to say the flavors were very vibrant and the crust was not too thick. I recommend and will be back to try more flavors. read more

Ordered for delivery. Delivered through Grubhub. All of my requests, two with the food order and 1 with grubhub, were not completed. Mushrooms of half the pizza instead of all of it. For my salad, no carrots and extra dressing. Both of which were not honored. I asked the grubhub driver to knock on the door so we knew he was there. We are from out of town staying at an air b and b. After waiting an hour, we went outside the front door and there was the order. No knock at all. I have no idea when the order was delivered. Pizza was cold. read more

Was visiting family in the Groveland/Clermont area and wanted pizza. We found several, but most had recent health scores with concerning reports. We found Flippers and ordered. The staff was friendly and the pizzas were excellent! The toppings were generous and well-placed across the pizza. There was just enough crust to enjoy! Definitely worth your time and travel! read more

The food always tastes amazing and the thought put into every item to make the perfect food for every customer. Everyone that comes into eat is always different with what they like and I feel with me and my wife we eat totally different types of pizza. So when we eat at flippers we always go home happy with the service, the food and the experience. It's nice and quiet and never too much for a nice night together. read more

AWESOME pizza great taste, lots of toppings, perfect temperature! Service was EXTREMELY slow, waitresses seemd more interested in talking with each other than waiting on or cleaning tables (2 pm and 7 tables had yet to be cleaned read more

They made a Stromboli for us even though it's not in menu. Sub is served on a folded pizza dough. Unique and delicious. Very good wait service too. Took a little longer than expected but well worth it. Very clean and felt new. We'll go back. read more

I am from CT and we have some of the best pizza in the United States, just look at all the food channels and how they rate our pizza in comparison to others. Visiting the Clermont area has always been tough because you just can't get a good pizza in town. Finally we visited this place and I must say that it was really good. The pizza was thin crust and it tasted really good. We ordered some cheesy bread and it was served with marinara sauce which was really good. I think I have found a winner here and will definitely visit again. The restaurant was really clean and the service was quick and attentive. read more

Flippers offers creative pizza options. We ordered a Pig & Pesto pizza which is EVOO base, spinach, smoked bacon, prosciutto, ricotta, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil pesto drizzle. We also had the Pepperoni and Napoli pizza: crushed San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, fresh oregano. Both were tasty. Good undercarriage. Little flop on the pepperoni slice. We also ordered a side of roasted broccoli which is made with garlic, pine nuts, romano, ricotta, garlic butter, and lemon wedge. This was a crowd favorite. read more

We stopped into Flippers Pizza to grab a quick meal before going to see a movie. The restaurant was busy but we were able to find a seat without issue. Our waitress brought out menus and waters fairly quick. We purchased Flippers Big Pie. It came with bacon, sausage, pepperoni, ham, green peppers, mushrooms, black olives and red onions. It was delicious and the crust was a little on the crunchy side. We also ordered a California Classic. It was topped with a basil pesto sauce, red onions, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach and artichoke. Both pizzas were wonderful but the California Classic was the favorite. The pesto sauce was amazing and made the pizza very unique. We tried some of the oven baked wings with a honey BBQ sauce. They were just average. They do not get real crispy when they are baked but the flavor was good. read more

Only walked in because they have tables outside and it was a beautiful day! Had no idea I was going to throughly enjoy my pizza and wine! I was greeted warmly and invited to look at the menu.. I was pleasantly surprised they serve wine.. Norah informed me its full service and I sat outside and ordered the lunch special thin crust white pizza and a Moscato.. the pizza was delicious! The crust is made with olive oil and it is incredibly tasty.. Norah was extremely attentive and very helpful.. I was truly surprised how much I enjoyed the experience! I have been more impressed with flippers in the past. Just some pizazz missing. There was nothing ultimately wrong. My wife enjoyed her Stromboli, but it wasn't classic or filled the way I feel it should be. My veggie calzone was fresh, but it ultimately seemed like veggies folded into a store bought wrap. Kids ate the pizza but I could get it from chuck E Cheese. Not trying to be a hater at all, I swear. Though I was not impressed, and our order was late supposedly due to gps issues which I totally understand, but the best item was my wife's Stromboli but even she just mentioned she was underwhelmed by the ingredients as she asked for extra and it seemed like mostly bread to me. read more

A pretty good local chain in the central Florida area. Though a tad pricier for the pizza you get.

The pizza is top notch!! Its my favorite pizza in clermont. The Mediterranean chicken is my wife and I's go to pie. Cant go wrong. You can taste that the quality of the ingredients is better than most. The service has always been friendly and prompt. Ambiance is nice as well for a pizza joint. The only thing i was kinda disappointed with is their chicken wings. I like my wings cooked well and a bit crispy, theirs come out wet and soggy like. read more

I have been a customer of Flipper's since 2010. I will not be back. I ordered for takeout. The pizza was ready when I arrived, but I had to wait another 10 minutes for the salad. I ordered a pizza with normal sauce, there was barely any sauce or toppings. The salad tomatoes were not fresh, they were all crushed up. I also ordered my salad without onions, they were on top of the salad. I notified the store about the salad before I had an opportunity to see the pizza. It was so bad I threw the pizza and the salad in the garbage. I ate a peanut butter sandwich instead. read more

It was ok. Not bad but not sure I will get again. We do like the pizza to keep the shape, this one was a bit thin but also thick crust. The garlic bread was pretty good though. We got cheese pizza and also a pepperoni and mushroom, both ok. read more

First time eating at flippers and may I say it was tasteful. Friendly staff and clean shop. I ordered a medium pizza with boneless buffalo wings. Medium pizza was just enough for my son and I. We ordered two self built pizza's through Uber eats with an express Uber service ( meaning they go straight from restaurant to our home). The pizza arrived in a timely manner, toppings intact, however, to my disappointment they were Soggy. I felt like I was eating baby food. It was my first time ordering pizza from Flippers. Sadly, I don't think I'd order again. read more

Since discovering Flippers, we haven't even tried any other pizza options in the Orlando area. We've had pizza from the Clermont location about 5-6 times and it's consistently great pizza. I'm not sure they know the difference between a roasted grape tomato and Roma tomatoes, and there was one other mistake, but everything else is so consistent that I can only give 5 stars. We especially love their traditional crust. And in an attempt to reduce carbs once in awhile, we've also tried the cauliflower crust. Also excellent. read more

It was noon on a Sunday. The family's HANGRY. Our go-to takeout places aren't answering the phone. What do you do? Call Flippers. The team at Flippers was quick to answer their phone and take down my order. We got one medium specialty pizza and one small cheese pizza. It was around $26 for both. They were prompt and even though the actual location looked slammed when I arrived, the pizza was ready when they said it would be (20 minutes). I'd like to try some of their other pizzas and/or sandwiches. I was impressed with the taste of the pizza, good service and courteous and efficient staff. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars: I felt it was somewhat pricey for the amount and quality of pizza received. read more

This time we must have hash different cooks. The pizza had lots of flop. The flavor was good. I like the crust and saunas fresh vegetables. I could not believe the price, $67.00 for one large 3 toppings, one large 5 toppings and one small gluten free two toppings pizza. This is very expensive! My Dad ate the gluten free pizza and he gave it a 3. I give my pizza the score of 7.8. It's really good pizza. Just the price blew me away! read more
