This poke spot in Clermont is so delicious. Some stand out features: lobster salad as one of the proteins is so good, think crab salad. Sauces are awesome and the boba teas are exceptional. I asked the staff today for a favorite flavor and was obsessed with the Taro milk tea they suggested. Buttery and nutty with the fruit popping bobas was such a good combo. I usually get poke and truly love how fresh it always tastes. You should definitely give it a try if you're on the west side. read more

I came in here for a quick musubi snack, which turned out to be a little less than quick. I was excited to find a poke shop open near me, but upon walking in, I wasn't super impressed. The fish looked fresh, but all of the fish and toppings were just sitting out with no lids on it. Some of the toppings looked dried up, especially the spam. I ended up just getting musubis, which took quite a while to come out. We waited probably 15 minutes for 2 musubis. The musubis were delish, but overall, the wait was long, and I'm not sure how I feel about all the food being out in the open, especially raw fish. read more

Clermont FINALLY has a poke place! This has been in the works for YEARS, and I'm happy to say they did not disappoint. We swung by the grand opening of Poke Moto and got there about 45 minutes after they opened the doors. The staff was super friendly, and while some were clearly new to the world of poke, they were open, willing to learn, and listening to customers as they ordered. (I know some folks might expect staff to know every detail off the bat, but as a former service worker, I get it, learning on the job is part of the deal.) Like most poke spots, they offer both signature bowls and build your own. They've got a solid lineup of proteins and toppings, and you can choose between greens or sushi rice as your base. The only thing noticeably missing was spicy tuna or spicy salmon, but you can add spicy mayo to any protein, which honestly gets the job done just fine. After building our bowls, we checked out, and pricing was pretty much in line with what you'd expect. A medium bowl (2 proteins) runs about $14.49, and a large (3 proteins) is $16.99. We paid just around $40 for two meals with tip, which is pretty standard for poke spots in Central Florida. The restaurant vibe itself is what you'd expect. It's very clean, bright, and colorful without trying too hard. We're definitely going to be back (probably more than once in the next few weeks, let's be real). read more

I have tried about three different poke bowls from here and they're all fantastic. My favorite is the salmon bowl! Along with the Hawaiian!. They all have a lot of rice and a lot of meat inside. The flavor is fantastic and the service is very friendly. The business is still really busy but that's just because it's busy in Claremont. The inside is sleek and clean. read more

After trying the Celebration location, I knew we had to try the one closer to home. We ordered two build your own bowls, 2 miso soups, and 2 boba teas, which came out to about $45. I absolutely love poke, and this chain does not disappoint. Everything was super fresh and the salmon and tuna were not fishy at all. Bonus points since they offer Kani salad as a free topping. This was the first time we tried the miso soups, which is only $1.49 as an add on to your bowl, an absolute steal these days. Unfortunately we had to wait for the soup, as we were told it had to heat up. It was still served to us cold anyway so we took it home. I'm not sure if this is their version or they forgot, but there was no seaweed in it. It was still good though and would order again for science. Overall, we will definitely frequent this spot. read more

I went to Pokémoto for the first time today and I can officially say I will be a return customer! The poke bowl was reasonably priced and fresh! There are many proteins, sides, sauces, and topping to choose from. My favorite being the option to add mango. It's hard to find a good poke place in Lake County, until now. I appreciate their way of building their bowls. They pack the rice at the bottom and then mix the protein, sides, and sauces in a separate bowl. Once evenly combined, it's added on top of the rice. You then have the option of selecting topping to add. One of the struggles of eating poke bowls are mixing the ingredients without making a mess or combining the them evenly. They do the work for you so you can fully enjoy your meal. 10/10 would definitely recommend! read more

Food tastes good, but in nowhere, does it say you only can get 1 scoop of the toppings and you will be charged extra if you do. Large bowl and only want to give you a pinch of toppings. All the other type of places like this will give you your toppings and not charge you extra. The can drinks are 3 bucks. Over priced for a can drink. Update, the owner will add a sign for what is extra. Took his service the extra mile to make things better. read more

I will start with, the food is super yummy. That being said, service is very slow and it seems there is not a maximization of their resources when it comes to the employees. I have watched them get redirected by whoever seems to be in charge multiple times because they are doing the bare minimum and not putting customers first. That being said, there is ZERO prioritization of pick up orders. After being told pick up would be in 20 minutes... over 45 minutes and 25 of those minutes consisting of sitting in the location waiting my food was finally completed. Having my food pushed back over and over again. It would have been faster to start the order over again in person. I asked multiple times if they could focus on my food order that was just sitting on the back counter and there was zero sense of urgency along with 2 employees in the back chatting. Im assuming something was being done but due to the nature of their personal conversation it was most certainly a one person task. I understand that there were customers coming into the store but there was enough employees to handle both. Additionally, our food was sitting half done on the counter for most of this time, that is fish and meat sitting non-temperature controlled. Very dangerous. The larger issue arises in the fact that I very much dislike writing bad reviews without first speaking to someone to clear up miscommunications. I emailed and then completed a follow up email a week later and both were ignored. That is not appropriate customer service. Even if you disagree with why I am upset. You should be responding. The disrespect and blatant disregard is the main issue here. read more
