    Hawaiian poke bowl
    Justin L.

I have tried about three different poke bowls from here and they're all fantastic. My favorite is the salmon bowl! Along with the Hawaiian!. They all have a lot of rice and a lot of meat inside. The flavor is fantastic and the service is very friendly. The business is still really busy but that's just because it's busy in Claremont. The inside is sleek and clean.

Build Your Poké- regular bowl with extra protein topped with crab salad & seaweed salad (free) and massago (extra charge)

So excited for clermont to finally get a poké spot! Coming from New York standards my expectations were high and they do not disappoint! With refreshing drinks and fresh ingredients, you can't go wrong! It's already my second time here and it will not be my last!

I liked it. I'm vegetarian and my bowl was delicious. It's a good addition to Clermont.

Some stand out features: lobster salad as one of the proteins is so good, think crab salad.

The size of the portions was perfect, the flavors were extraordinary, and it was quiet at that hour which made it even more enjoyable sharing a meal with friends. I also loved their fresh cucumber pickles. Minus one star because unfortunately the place wasn't kept very clean. The staff were very patient and did the most to identify the gluten free options for me. They told me that they have gluten free versions of all of the sauces, including soy-based! If you're really strict, I would double check about cross contamination, as I found a piece of another topping inside the wasabi that was added to my bowl. Also, my friend had the fried chicken and felt unwell after. Overall, it has the potential to be a great poke option. To Poke Hana, I highly recommend you clean more the customer area thoroughly especially since you're working with raw fish and need to present a certain image.

Like many families, we were eventually "priced out of paradise" as the cost of living climbed over the last decade. One of the places we always loved was L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Anyone who has lived in Hawaii knows how deeply its food is tied to its culture. We were excited when Ohana Grill came to Kirksville--and even happier when we realized they had brought the authentic taste of Hawaii with them. For our family, it's nostalgia and comfort food. For anyone curious about Hawaiian food, these guys are the real deal. We truly hope they're here to stay, because for us, Ohana Grill feels like Hawaii came to us. A few things you'll definitely want to try: * Spam musubi -- a beloved local snack you'll find at gas stations and convenience stores throughout Hawaii * Kalua pig -- their recipe is legit * Halo-halo -- a Filipino ice cream dessert There's plenty more to enjoy, but those are some of the stars of the show. If your curious about Hawaii food culture, check "Guy Hagi's Cheap Eats" on youtube, and compare to these guys.

Unbeknownst to me, I was able to book a character dining experience for the family even though we weren't staying at a Disney Resort We had a few first-timers with us and I believe everyone needs to have this experience at least once when visiting the most magical place on earth!! It's been several years since I've actually been to a character dining but this was just as enjoyable as I remember!! From the staff taking us to our seat to the server working our table and the characters working the room, it was great!! The staff made sure that our family was able to visit with all 4 characters and encouraged patrons to stick around if they haven't already met each. The food was plentiful and tasty!! I love a family-style dining experience that caters to the needs of everyone in the party! Even though we didn't have any dietary restrictions in our group, Ryan still asked. It was a well-balanced brunch and everyone was pleased The Hawaiian themed decor, the views from the window, and the festive music playing in the background made all the difference in the dining experience and I'd definitely go back again!!

We booked for an early dinner at 6pm. The parking gate was open, so we went through without even getting a ticket. When we arrived to the restaurant, my expectations lowered as this was most likely the hotel house restaurant, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served. My dad and I decided to have a Marlot wine to start, which was surprising not to dry and quite enjoyable. For entree, my dad went with the salmon while I decided on the half chicken. Both were nicely portioned, which surprised both of us. Even more surprising was how good it was. The chicken was served with bones, and roasted nicely. It was tender and whatever seasoning they added was good. While the vegetables were a bit mushy, I still enjoyed it because the seasoning made it more enjoyable. The jasmine rice was very good as it might had a bit of coconut flavor. While my dad finished his food, and loved it, I took my other piece of chicken home to enjoy for the next day. I didn't want to leave without dessert, so I ordered the suggested ube flan. I was so happy I did. It was moist with a great ube flavor. The coconut added really enhanced the yammynous (pun intended). The fruit was so fresh, and the popping bobas were a nice touch. We also ordered vegetarian spring rolls for my mom to enjoy, and she loved it when we brought it home! I tried it as well and it was scrumptious. Our server was nice and professional. Our food came pretty quickly and we were in and out after 1.5 hours. The atmosphere was very casual and quiet as well. Hula music was mostly playing in the background, as my taste buds were doing it. We came during the early hours, so it can get more crowded later in the evening or during breakfast. Since the parking gate was open, we just went through it to exit as well. We didn't need to pay anything, and I wasn't sure why. Island dining room is an excellent example why I should never judge a restaurant by it's appearance. Even though it looked like a plain ole hotel restaurant, the food was very enjoyable. Even though it was expensive, we took advantage of the Resy credits. It is located at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios, where you can even enjoy walking around the public areas after eating. Definitely an underrated restaurant, and great for tourists and locals who like Polynesian cuisine. Overall: A-
