I have been eating Sushi Storm for years and I'm sad to leave this review but after almost not ordering due to price, still giving them business despite an almost 40% increase in price and then receiving subpar food I have to. I got medium spice pad Thai. Something I think is hard to mess up because it's very basic. I almost didn't order because just last year it was $16.99, now it was $22.99. Same method of ordering and did it for pickup. So many noodles were completely unflavored I started picking them out and throwing them away. I got a photo with one that I missed. I love that this place has such a wide variety of food options. My daughter wanted to try sushi and my husband loves it so they had boat 1. It was priced reasonable and came out well prepared and good protions. I opted to have a few appetizers for my meal - shrimp shumai, edamame, vegetable spring roll, and storm fresh roll. All were delicious and came out well prepared at the correct temperatures for each. My youngest had chicken katsu. Sushi Storm has become a very welcoming addition to the plaza by Publix in Clermont. It's a little hole in the wall that provides an entrancing entrance and a homely feeling. The owners have been at the location for a while now and are incredibly friendly and passionate about their food. I've been multiple times and I can say that the Curry and the Curry rice are one of the best things on the menu. Everytime I get it, the food is flavorful and the beef is tender. We've also gotten the Gyoza and they were crunchy but juicy as well. The sushi can be a TAD bit underwhelming (but this is probably because of what I ordered - Had the Ultimate Salmon roll and wasn't impressed) But the Dragon Roll was on point!
