I eat here for lunch once or twice a week since the pandemic and it is very very good. I always do the Hibachi lunch special with either chicken or steak. The teriyaki chicken is amazing too. The food is always consistent in terms of deliciousness and the quantity, which is always a lot. The yum yum sauce that comes on the side is also amazing. The lunch special comes with a fountain drink, all for under $11. It is a counter order place and you can also phone in your order ahead. Either way, they are always really fast. They have a bomb lunch special for only $8.95 and I always get the fried rice with steak and grilled vegetables and of course it comes with the most delicious white sauce to put on! OH and a drink! This counter service stir fry and sushi place also has adequate inside seating. The stir fry is cooked to order, with fresh veggies and a tasty sauce. I particularly liked the scallops in my shrimp and scallop combination. And how can you beat a lunch special with two sushi rolls of your choice, a ginger salad, and a drink for $8.99? I stumbled upon this restaurant with my best friend we wanted something quick but not drive thru food. When we saw that it was fast hibachi we were excited! It's no thrills/shrills but it hits the spot for sure for a fraction of the cost of table top teppanyaki. And the employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered the standard teriyaki chicken. My go to place!! Service: this is my go to spot for sushi and I am never disappointed by the service and people there. The employees are always so nice, my order is always ready on time, and they never have a wait to get in! I've always enjoyed this restaurant and will always recommend it by the service alone! Food/price: *delicious* I like to try new things on the menu everytime I go but my favorites are the Chicken Tempura roll and the Volcano roll. Each hand roll is roughly $7 so it's pretty affordable for the quality! Also my partner recommends the chicken teriyaki! This time we ordered chicken teriyaki, 3 rolls, gyoza and a side of rice and it was all for about $35! This is our go to spot for quick lunch. This hole in the wall hibachi spot is actually really good for "fast food" Japanese. Everything is made fresh to order. I've been here at least once a month for the last year and I can tell you I have never been disappointed. They're super nice and always eager to please. The owner is the sweetest guy and has offered many times to run my pickup order out to the car so I didn't have to instead both kids to go in. It was getting very late, and we wanted Asian food. Stumbled on Sukoy, one of the few places still open. Placed a pickup order and it was ready within 15 minutes. Efficient operation. I usually have a good experience with this place. I most always order a hibachi from here, since they are good. Lately I have tried their yakisoba. I order the vegetable version, which comes in a container that is full, for $10.95. This time i ordered a steak yakisoba for $12.95, and this is what i got, almost feels like an insult. Keep in mind as of today, I ordered at least once a week through a food delivery service. I will be looking for a other Japanese place to order from in the future. The container is barely 1/3 full. The hibachi is excellent. Really indistinguishable from what you would get at the fancy sit down hibachi restaurants. Just no show for you to watch and be part of. Who knew that I needed a go-to quick hibachi place in my life? I sure didn't, but that's what I found in Sukoy Hibachi Express. My family orders from here once every 2-3 weeks, and it's consistently good. We normally get the chicken teriyaki meals and a roll. The chicken teriyaki meals come with chicken, rice, and hibachi vegetables. The chicken is cut very very thin and is crispy. The vegetables aren't too oily, which sometimes happens with hibachi. You can get an extra helping of the hibachi meat for $4 more. My husband and I usually get 1 meal and 1 side of meat to split. read more

Went out of my way to check this place out. I ordered chicken hibachi for lunch. The spring rolls your hot, the chicken was hot. But the rice was less that warm. Not a big deal if, when I told the gal that was work, had offered me some fresh hot rice. But she did not. Who wants to eat almost cold rice? My wife called, and placed our hibachi order (two shrimp and two chicken hibachi meals). Each meal comes with a ginger salad. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes - pretty quick. The place is close so 10 minutes worked perfectly. It is somewhat small, but clean and organized. The staff seemed friendly. They even gave me extra spicy mayo. The price was affordable (not bad for take-out hibachi). My wife would have liked a little more vegetables in hers, but all in all the hibachi meals had a good flavor. The kids liked theirs. The ginger salad, however, was mediocre. We'll definitely try Sukoy again. Would be interesting to try their sushi next time. read more

This review is (mainly) for the sushi. I tend to feel bad about leaving poor reviews for businesses, but such disregard was given to the quality control of our sushi, that I felt it necessary to come forth. First of all, some of the avocado was unripe. They even failed to clean the "skin" area around where the pit is removed. It was hard, gross, and inedible. The other avocados were brown, but didn't really bother me since they tasted much better. Any sushi chef is able to pick up on an under ripened avocado. Strike two was finding a couple of shrimp tails in the shrimp maki rolls. I get bits of shell, but the entire tail? Not a great bite, to say the least. The quality of the fish could have been better, but it was good enough since this was cheap sushi. For what it's worth, I've had much higher quality fish for similar prices. I got a good laugh at the clear soup, but honestly was pleased with the taste and the fact that it was under $2. It is so clearly the boxed or canned beef broth with French's canned onions in the broth. Honestly, the flavor was good! I kind of appreciate the innovation for a fun, affordable soup option. My girlfriend was disappointed with her house salad. While the dressing was good (can confirm) it was all iceberg lettuce with one little sliver of cucumber. Again, I feel bad writing this review, and the employees did seem friendly, but such little care went into our sushi that we will not be returning. This was not a tasty experience by any means. Finding a good quality, reasonably priced sushi place is a must, and since we are new to the area, we were very happy to have discovered this place! We placed a to go order, (not sure if they allow dine in during covid), but our food was ready to go, plentiful, and at a very good price. Staff was friendly as well. This is a tough one for me. While the quality of the food was good and I enjoyed the sushi, the flavoring was definitely lacking as well as the portion size of all the dishes we got. I usually can't handle big portions (I take stuff home at most places), however, I actually had to make myself food at home after we finished our meal just to get full. Again, decent place but you better be ready to spend a lot to get enough. I would recommend at least giving better potions of rice or noodles to to help. I was CRAVING some hibachi during the COVID shutdown and my normal place was closed. This place had good reviews so I gave it a go and it's now going to be my new spot! The family owned hibachi restaurant is top notch. Upon entering the main dining area, the restaurant was clean and well kept. Coming on a Wednesday night looked like there was more take out than dining in. As I was in the area, I chose to dine in. The food was tasty, fresh and plentiful. Ordered the 2 protein combo (steak and scallops). I have to say, I was impressed with the quality and value of the meal. A minor negative (if you could call it that) was that the owners allowed their son (11-12 years old) take the order and he seemed a little unsure of the register and card processing device. I purchased steak and chicken hibachi with fried rice instead of white rice. I did not receive the fried rice. The chicken and steak was way over cooked.
