We had such a great experience at Shin Sushi! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There's a great variety of sushi and rolls, and I really loved that everything is made to order. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Restaurant Review My wife and I walked into the restaurant and were seated at the same time as two other parties. The atmosphere and dim lighting were nice, and honestly, the decor gave us something to admire for the first 30 minutes while we waited for a server to even acknowledge us.( Yes Shade) What was especially disappointing was watching multiple servers walk past our table several times without saying a word. Around the 20-minute mark, my wife politely asked one of the servers if someone could come take our order, but unfortunately, we were brushed off. The frustrating part was that the other parties who were seated around the same time had already received their drinks and were eating while we were still sitting there waiting for someone to acknowledge us. By the time a server finally came over approximately 30 minutes later, we had already decided to leave. I'm a firefighter and work a lot of hours, so when I get the opportunity to spend quality time with my wife, I really value it. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing and not how we expected our evening to go. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but being completely overlooked for 30 minutes while other guests who arrived at the same time were being served is unacceptable. Hopefully, this was an isolated experience, because the atmosphere was nice and the restaurant had potential. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we won't be returning. The first thing you notice when you walk in to the restaurant is the theming. It feels like many of these sushi restaurants you see all around the world and has great ambiance. The tables are large and chairs are comfortable and the service is swift. It wasn't particularly busy when I went but my server Christina came up to me immediately and took my drink order and went over the all you can eat menu and explained everything to me in detail. I ordered the refillable soda to start with and I noticed then came at a very large glass so that you didn't have to constantly bother them for refills. I tend to drink a lot and I only managed to drink two full glasses. Then I started out with the MISO soup which came out almost immediately. It wasn't the best miso soup I've ever had but it wasn't at all the worst. It was definitely a four out of five I had plenty of seaweed in for me. I then ordered a variety of sushi and a rainbow roll. I was amazed how quickly I was served, The sushi chefs are lightning fast and again it wasn't very busy but it was far from empty. The sushi chefs are very skilled and quick their craft. I also ordered a hand roll and a dragon roll to finish up my meal along with some more sushi. Again I never had to wait very long for the food to come out but I never at all felt rushed. My server Christina was constantly checking on me to make sure I was OK and I didn't need anything else and I never once had to look for her to get anything I needed for my lunch. Now before tell you how good the food was I must quantify something. The quality of sushi Rangers from the worst gas station store sushi to the highest quality sushi places and I've eaten both. It is important that when you're eating sushi you understand the cost value. This is not the best sushi I've ever had by any stretch of the imagination, But those places will charge you $6 for one sushi and this is and all you sushi restaurant that would surely go out of business if they serve the top quality fish on the planet. When one goes to Mcdonald's one does not expect Michelin star rated food, nor should you ever expect that kind of food in any manner of all you can eat sushi. If you hung in with me this long I appreciate it and so will the restaurant. This is the best all you can eat sushi I've ever had. It's not the best sushi I've ever had but it is very high quality and they don't give you super skinny pieces of sushi either they stick chunks of sushi laid over rice the tekka add big pieces of tuna inside and it wasn't overwhelmed by rights like they usually do Matter of fact there was more tuna than rice and it was among the best thing I ate. The Rainbow bowl was a little bland because again they can't use the best quality fish but it was still very good. I enjoyed everything I ate including the Mackle sushi which is my measuring stick because a PE a poor sushi place uses poor mackerel and this mackel was very good. On top of all that you get free ice cream for dessert as much as you want just like everything else on the All You Can Eat menu and there's a ton of things to order from too much for any one person to try. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience and we'll certainly be going back. I basically spent $23 on sushi but I ate $95 worth of food So this was a tremendous food value. Now the only downside to the AYCE Is that everyone sitting at the table must order the same thing. So you can't have one person doing all you can eat while others order from the main menu or a la carte. Now the AYCE menu does have some non sushi items and stuff from the Hibachi It's by no means versatile menu for those people who don't eat sushi. Excited to have all you can eat sushi in town instead of driving to other cities. Disclaimer: we went during their soft opening so I will update, should we come again. The restaurant looks fantastic, first off. I had not been to the buffet here before to comment on the differences, but it looks fresh. To start off, our miso soups were lukewarm and the scallions did overwhelm the flavor. We ordered the sweet potato tempura, but they gave us the mix of all the veggies. No matter to us, we happily ate it, but towards the end of the meal, the server came out with a pile of sweet potato that we had to decline. I'm not sure what the confusion was, as we did not complain or ask for more. I would have to say the specialty rolls were a bit disappointing. Most on the menu are shrimp tempura heavy. If you frequent all you can eat, you typically see a good mix of fresh and fried rolls. I personally would appreciate more raw specialty sushi rolls added to the menu. For the rolls, we both enjoyed the Heaven roll, which was a surprise to us, as we typically love anything spicy tuna, but this roll didn't have it. We tried their Shin Fire role, which had spicy tuna, but there was something in it I did not like. I honestly think it was the tuna. Also, the sushi rice was still warm for all rolls so it was a bit off putting. Service was great and attentive. If we do come back, I think we would try lunch next time. read more

I've been there three times now. The food is so good and the service is great. The Alaska roll and Dynamite roll are my favorite sushi offerings. The krab rangoon and fried oreo are also delicious. And any place that offers green tea ice cream is amazing to me. The servers are attentive and the price for all you can eat is insanely good. Also the restaurant is very clean. Overall a really solid sushi place. I'd highly recommend. read more

I've had some awesome servers and I've been to the dinner and the lunch. All you can eat, two very different dining types, but both have their own charm. The fish is fresh and flavorful and even if you don't like fish, there's plenty of other options. But just keep ordering and make sure you finish everything that you order. Hit up the soft opening for Shin Sushi's new AYCE spot in Clermont for lunch today. They're still working out some opening-day kinks, but the service was actually super solid. The staff was really attentive, and the manager kept checking in to get honest feedback. Apparently, the owner is friends with the Sushi Yama crew in Orlando and wanted to bring that same setup over here.Lunch has a smaller menu than dinner, but there's still a ton of specialty rolls to choose from. Everything is made to order, tastes fresh, and comes out pretty fast. The nigiri pieces are on the smaller side, but for all-you-can-eat, that's honestly better since you can try more things without tapping out too early. They also have a lot of cooked stuff if you aren't into raw fish.Definitely save room for dessert. The matcha and strawberry ice creams were both really good--the strawberry one even had actual frozen fruit pieces in it. Pair those with the fried Oreos at the end and it's a wrap. read more
