As we were in a bit of a rush, we ended up getting the ready-made pizza of the day which in this case was a cheese pizza. The pizza was well-made and quite tasty with plenty of cheese and a very nice textured thin crust nicely browned underneath, which is just the way I like it! During this visit, we ended up meeting and talking to the owner of the business who is an Expat from New York City. Obviously a sports fan where we had a nice long delightful conversation about baseball and the Yankees where my brother who was with me is a big fan of that team as well. His friendliness and outgoing manner really added to the overall dining experience where we will definitely be returning in the future this time, ordering a pizza with a tad more items to see if his more deluxe options are as good as the cheese pizza was! If you are a fan of well-made, thin crust pizza then this is a business. You should definitely check if you are in the Clermont area!

I am so glad to have finally found the NY pizza I've been craving for years in downtown Clermont. A huge rave for the owner Vinnie of Chef'n It Up Slice Bar. I stopped by to check it out and saw that the slices looked just like the slices back home. Tried the plain slice and it brought back all the great memories. It was so good I called my sister and bought two extra large pies to take home. My family were so happy after trying the pizza. Thank you! This great father and son establishment will bring us so much happiness. Vinny is originally from Brooklyn. He and his son are such nice guys. I absolutely love this spot. Great place to watch the games while having a slice and a beer. Thank you so much Vinnie and son! You guys Rock!!! Btw I heard your cannolis are amazing. Can't wait to try them next time!

The vibe in the shop is great - simple, no frills, and just being in there you know you're about to get some good eats. We went for a large pizza with pepperoni, garlic, and extra cheese. Daaannnnggg, spot on! I heard people coming in to order their single slices which was a great deal. The guy who made our pizza was super sweet too, and you could tell he took great pride in his work. Watching him toss the dough in the air was a treat! We will absolutely be back.

Second of all it's super small. 3 tables and 6 chairs. There's a loveseat, (more like for waiting on your takeout) and 2 picnic tables under a covering. You order at the counter. They had salads, subs, pizza and pasta. We got a 16" Hawaiian pizza with green olives. They also have a 12". Beverages are bottled Coke products and some bottles of tea. They have Coke Zero which is very surprising. Pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. They brought it out with paper plates and napkins. It was piping hot (I burnt the roof of my mouth!). Thin crispy crust. It was ok, not great. I'd get something different if I return. Guy was friendly.

The dough, the seasoning and the cheese are divine. The zeppolis I never bad before and I was shocked at the amount for the price. Great sweet treat that's easy to share. 10/10. Make this your first choice if you don't know what to eat. PS: I love their cesar salad too. I didn't order it today (obviously) but the lettuce is consistently fresh, the dressing is scrumptious (I ask for extra because I unapologetically love this dressing), and you get just the right amount of croutons and parm. We're looking forward to the food and we will not be going there again. Yes, you pay a third-party website to handle orders and deliveries, but that does not absolve you from responsibility about what they're posting there about your business. Zero accountability equals zero repeat customer over here. Above was our original experience and after calling when our pizza arrived lukewarm and 45 minutes late... They were able to appropriately recover service, which was unexpected and highly welcome. They did say that the best thing to do is order and pick up. We will continue to be customers.
