Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

(25 reviews)

Raising Cane's delivers exactly what it promises: a focused, satisfying meal centered around…read morequality chicken fingers. True to its fast-casual model, service is efficient even when lines are long. The tip to order ahead through their app is a smart one and definitely saves time. The signature Box Combo is the way to go, giving you a great overview of what they do best. The star of the show is undeniably the Cane's Sauce. It has a cult following for good reason, its creamy, tangy flavor pairs perfectly with the crispy, juicy chicken fingers. The sides complete the experience: the Texas Toast is buttery and soft, ideal for dipping, and the crinkle-cut fries are reliably crispy when fresh. It's worth noting that the experience can vary. In addition to this, the meal can also feel quite heavy or greasy to some diners. Overall, Raising Cane's is a solid choice for a quick, dependable chicken finger fix. It won't reinvent fast food, but for a tasty, no-fuss meal where the sauce truly shines, it consistently hits the spot and is a great deal for the quality.

I have to admit it, Raising Cane's is excellent. I am against chain, restaurants, against fast…read morefood, restaurants, and against flash in the pans. When I asked my daughter what what meal she wanted before we embarked on the trip to drop her off at school she instantly said, Raising Cane's. At that point, I realized I had denied her Kane's pretty much all summer and my goose was cooked. The chicken is moist and warm crunchy on the outside and taste like chicken. The batter has a mild flavor to it the compliments, the chicken. The crinkle cut fries are crisp on the outside and soft on the outside and taste like potatoes. The lemonade is excellent. The coleslaw is excellent. I don't get the big deal about the Caine's m secret sauce, which does nothing for me other people love I don't even know what's in. It is fairly priced. Definitely a better deal than McDonald's or KFC.

On top of the bad attitude, our order came out almost completely wrong. We had items missing, there was no consideration from the staff to at least give out straws for the beverages. And no apologies for the errors. It was really disappointing. Total disrespect. There was no basic human decency/treatment.

I did not receive the junior bacon burger, and the barbecue nuggets were not thoroughly cooked to the point where after eating two nuggets, got was violently sick not to mention there was a long black hair embedded in one of the nuggets . I immediately through the food out. I tried dealing with Uber Eats, who was extremely unhelpful and said to contact the store . I had called the Wendy's location we ordered from I talked to the manager, who at first seem extremely irritated to even be talking to me and even said to me. " I'm busy helping other actual customers so I can't just help you." I explained to him what was going on. He said that they are trained into cooking the food properly, so he didn't understand what I was trying to say. I told him I just wanna make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else because I could not get a refund on the disgusting food that we received normally I do not do takeout like this. And considering nothing was really done about the situation I will be contacting the Board of Health along with the Better Business Bureau, so this doesn't happen to someone else. For a manager to speak to a customer that has raised awareness and concerns about the food safety in that establishment to brush it off so lightly just to help other customers.

Dave's Hot Chicken

Alright, where do I start. There's so many Hot Chicken joints popping up in MA recently and you'd…read morejust have to do a few trial and error runs to find the perfect joint. I am so happy that I tried Dave's because their chicken is juicy and milkshakes are fun (topped with crushed Oreos, m&ms, or Cinnamon Toast Crunch)! I saw a Dave's Slider Menu Hack and oh my god, it's good! Add some Mac and cheese or the whole thing, who's going to judge you, drizzle some honey and Dave's sauce on it. You will not be able to have another Hot Chicken sandwich the same way, ever, again. Thanks, Dave's, you've ruined me!

The guy at the front was friendly during the ordering process. We ordered the combo with 2 burgers and another with 1 burger. Everything looks great, but when i taste it, the temp of the chicken wasn't as hot as it typically is. The flavor was there, looks were there just kinda warm only. Also, when the food was ready and clearly on the servers window, the front guy was on the inside playing with his phone. The server (was apologetic seeing me wait) called him out to get me my order. The fries were good and the pickles on the side were sizeable. I still love Dave's but I've just had better experiences at their other locations. This was my first time at their Medford location. As for the restaurant, it's conveniently located with tons of parking outside. The restaurant used to be a Boston Market and its huge inside. It looks clean and has high seating capacity. I liked that there are self-serve wetnaps there.

Absolute perfection. The photo says it all ... the ingredients were world class, preparation was masterful, and the char was epic! After we chatted about the steak sub with some patrons I had the opportunity to try a steak and cheese ... again, just amazing! Sliced ribeye, cooper sharp, and a seeded bun ... an homage to the best in Philly. Do not miss this experience! Thank you Chris ... see you soon!

I really want to like this place, I honestly do. Their pizza is good, and the chicken parm is…read moresolid. Unfortunately, the steak and cheese is a hard pass. I ordered the South Philly steak. They were out of long hots, which isn't a huge deal, but seems would be a major part of the flavor profile. It comes with a garlic aioli, which I'd strongly recommend skipping. It's extremely heavy on the aioli with very little garlic flavor, and the added provolone actually takes away from the overall taste rather than enhancing it. The real issue, though--the nail in the coffin--was the steak itself, which is obviously the most important part. It's advertised as being shaved fresh on site, but the trimming and consistency need serious work. I ended up throwing away more than half the sandwich. Even picking through the meat, a large portion consisted of thick, roughly 1/8-inch thick slices full of gristle (see picture) that were impossible to chew. That's not what I expect from a $19 cheesesteak. I'd expect that quality from a Market Basket sandwich, not from a place like this, and that was genuinely disappointing. As a side note, the house-baked sesame roll is a nice touch, but it really should be toasted. As served, it was overly soft and heavier than a typical sub roll. Two stars solely based on the cheesesteak. It's not a one-star review only because the pizza and chicken cutlets are still good here.
