Woof. Where to start. We've been twice in the past couple of weeks and the service is next level awful. Both times we've ordered in the lobby (my kids like to see which toy they're offering before deciding on a kids meal vs. regular meal) and have waited 20+ min for food. Last night took the cake. When we walked in there were maybe 2 other people waiting - a small group and a delivery guy. We ordered in the lobby and started to wait. Over the next 30 min the place t got more and more packed with walk-ins and delivery people, so packed you could hardly move. You couldn't even ask someone to check on you because in 30 min only 2 orders came out & after shoving it on the counter the employee fled. Yes, fled. No eye contact, no words spoken. They could see the mob of people waiting and no one was going to open themselves up to that. Eventually I was able to flag someone down and he admitted they couldn't find any lobby orders. They get the manager. The manager does something to the ticket machine and a STREAM of tickets come flowing out. It still took another 15 min to get my order. What was most infuriating was the employee response. No one but the manager cared or showed any urgency. I gave 2 stars because at least the order was ultimately correct and hot. read more

Terrible service. I've never had this issue with any other McDonalds. This is specific to this location. Last night was the 2nd time I ordered (same order) and the 2nd time they got it wrong. I let it go the first time assuming it was just a miss but now I see this is just what they do. I am vegetarian and ordered 2 burgers with no meat. I then selected "extra onions" and "extra pickles." Both times they didn't put any onions on the burger and only 1 pickle. I feel like this isn't a mistake but that they do it on purpose. I pay the same price even though I don't get the meat. I don't think it's asking too much to add a little bit extra of the toppings. Plus they give you the option to ask for extras. I will go out of my way to spend my money elsewhere. read more

Food is good and service was prompt. The problem is listening. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and one big breakfast, a side hash brown and a coffee. Then I remembered that my wife wanted a milk. So I asked to add a milk to my order. When I got my order, no milk. What they did instead was add "four milk" to my coffee. If you can't even get a simple order like this correct, then I don't know that I'd want to attempt a more complex order. They did fix it promptly but the milk was a separate transaction. read more

I like McDonald's but this location ,Broadway Malden MA is the worst. I don't think it's the staff, its the franchise owner/management . gave me a bs reason that no expiration date is why they won't give me a side of tarter . nothing has expired dates ketchup or any of the sauce they give you. this location has made up its own rules for years one night they wouldn't serve me in the drive thru because I was on my motorcycle. Restaurant was closed ,they said no motorcycles I said what if I walk up . in turn said no. ended up not getting served. this location is trash. I've had numerous other bad experiences here . Sausage McMuffin with egg is the only thing I enjoy on the menu. Their bagels are always stale and their burgers are tasteless. The breakfast burritos are edible if you douse them in picante sauce. If you want a decent breakfast, go to a full service diner. read more

One of my friends got his phone stuck behind the booth and the manager of the restaurant REFUSED to give any of us help. We tried to take pictures of the place but she wouldn't let us. She was extremely rude and all of her employees had a huge staring problem. The food is okay but I mean its McDonalds, sometimes they give me stuff I didn't ask for. The wait when you order without the Kiosk is so long its almost painful, its like a whole 25-30 minute wait for something as small as a mc-chicken. They don't speak english and I don't speak spanish so everything was just difficult. Very disappointed do better. Almost called the police on that manager didn't even wanna move a finger to help a couple of customers. read more

I order breakfast this morning through mobile apps, I order BIG BREAKFAST, SAUSAGE BISCUIT AND A LARGE COFFEE when I walk in to pick up my breakfast they give me my order with a medium coffee instead. So I told them I order a large coffee, the manager just grab a large coffee cup and pour the medium coffee that was already made to the large cup and handed to me just like a large coffee which is only 80% full. Listen there are rules and there are corporate policies. When you go through a drive thru and forget you didn't ask for ketchup and get back in line for the drive through to in fact ask for ketchup, you shouldn't be giving an inquisition as to when you were there, what did you buy, what time did you come in? All the while saying, whatever; just charge me for it! Then they continue to ask you, even though you have a bag of food on hour lap and your receipt in your hand. Do you really think Ketchup is that much of a cost to the company? Then you are told you are only allowed 2 packets for the order, which was a Big Mac value meal, large size, so does that mean if you ordered a normal sized one you would get one? I would just like to say a big GO FUCK YOURSELF MCDONALDS. I worked here as a kid and to be honest, I eat here maybe once a year, that said, this was enough to piss me off. Also is over $9 with tax really a value for this? Yes $8.79 without. That said, this McDonalds has always been inept and to be honest, I'm not even sure why I bother. I stopped at this MacDonalds on 7/9/2019 to buy a Quarter Pounder for $5.77 total. Someone then used my card information 2 seconds later to purchase an order for $38.15 which I never ordered and the manager said they can't do anything not accepting any responsibility. My review is not based on the food because let's be honest, all of the food in all of the McDonald's all across the globe is exactly the same. This is about the service. This is my most frequented McDonald's as it is in my neighborhood and most convenient. The breakfast staff is wonderful. I always get my correct order, always get my iced coffee made the right way and always receive a smile at the window. Any other time you go here be ready to deal with attitude, wrong orders and general incompetence. I've been to this one about six times. It's a dump. The service is terrible and usually the orders are wrong. The drive-through is so bad they have slots for you to park your car while you order is sorted out. You might have a problem if you don't speak English! I hate McDonald's. Anyone who knows me can confirm that. I think all of their food tastes like crap and is full of salt and is the last thing on my list of edible foods. The only thing I order from there is the shakes, fries, and drinks normally. When I want one or more of those items I have my roomie swing through the drive thru. We frequent this Mcdonald's more than we should. It seems management has changed.
