We have been going to subway once a week for months. They past few weeks I'm not sure what has happened. Ordered 2 sandwiches online. Both were drowning in sauce to the point were I threw mine away. I asked for no lettuce or tomato and ended with extra lettuce and tomatoes. I'm not sure if there is new owners or not but it's been a big disappointment. We came in and ordered two sandwiches. The service wasn't the best. The guy who helped us was really kind, but then a younger lady stepped in and made us feel like an inconvenience. When this place first opened back up they had hired an extremely rude and lazy young lady. Really a bad move. She would not make the Internet orders, 4 times I went there and no sandwich. When I complained she rolled her eyes and said " It's your lucky day" and proceeded to make me a foot long, I don't eat a foot long. Also she put things on there I didn't want. Unbelievable. Tried the Subway app to order today. They clipped my order to another persons order and didn't make my sandwich. They argued with hubby over toppings, I never got to select them?? I made comments in the comment section and they ignored them and the final failure ... they didn't even cut the sandwich like they've ALWAYS done ... it's nice to have a choice besides McD's ... but at least McD's pays attention to the order on the app. read more

Well this is the first time I have gone back to Subway since it opened up again and it appears to not have changed since the last review. My bread was obviously not made fresh today and was hard on one end. The top of the bread was flaking off since it was apparently stale. The prices have gotten ridiculous too. For the price I can get a better meal anywhere and include fries with it or such. read more

HARD BREAD! On the past 3 orders we had bread with hard ends. Today we ordered 2 more sandwiches and called to say we wanted SOFT BREAD ONLY! After 3 bad experiences IT DIDN'T WORK!!! Brought to car, felt the bread, one end was hard on the bottom, called guy back, he brought it back and told us it wouldn't be redone because it was baked fresh this morning. NO WAY!!! Maybe you need to check your holding oven??? Went inside, manager refused to give us soft bread because it was hard only on one end! BEFRESH! What a joke!!! I am a local and have used the Subway at least once a week. Product and service has gone down hill fast!!! They have not honored the advertised products or the coupons that come in the mail. For the past month or so, they have not had any roast beef which is necessary for on the clubs. I used them again yesterday and the girls had on gloves okay. However, they used the same ones to cut the bread. load the veggies and take the money. Who knows where that came from or who handled it!!!! I know the owner/manager has bought another establishment in Near by Illwaco, perhaps all of her attention is focused on it---hopefully, it will be run better than Subway!!!! Not a good experience. I bought a tuna sandwich and the put it on like meatballs. Gaps in the bread made it impossible to eat. I went back in and ordered another explaing the problem. The girls said that subway says that they have to do it that way and they went back to there tatoo conversation. I paid for both sandwiches and we didnt eat either. After heading up the street we found a place that was willing to make us something that we could eat. I cant recomend this place to eat but long beach WA is great read more

Went to the long Beach subway where I've always been able to use coupons and was told only after my meal was prepared that they would no longer be accepting coupons. They need to put a sign up if that's the case. As a local I will not be returning to this restaurant as this is not my first bad experience. read more

Actually we used to get sandwiches quite often here. The ladies usually do a pretty good job. On one occasion my wife got their rotisserie chicken and it had a long hair in it. After calling them the next day to complain they disregarded our complaint and didn't offer to return our money or give us a free sub to make up for it. What a shame. read more

This was one of the largest Subways that I have ever been to which was a good thing considering how busy it was. There were only two people working and they both seemed tired and frazzle, in their defense it was likely right before a shift change. It was only about 7pm and the tea was out, when a customer asked if there was more the employee rudely said if its gone its gone. Went to this Subway yesterday while visiting the coast from Portland. My 2 friends and I had our sandwiches made and all of a sudden the register computer had frozen up. Along with us 3 there were about 5 others in line that were all waiting to pay for our sandwiches. I had exact cash for my sandwich and the employees refused to accept it because the register wouldn't open. After waiting another 10 minutes for it to start working all 8 of us had to leave Subway with at least $50 worth of sandwiches wasted because the employees refused to accept our CASH. I don't think it's fair to review a restaurant based on a technology malfunction, it should be about the food and how you are treated with the staff, been in here a couple times and they are all super nice, they would have ended up with 5 more bad reviews had they only accepted the one persons exact change. Cause how could they sell the other customers waiting their food? What if they didn't have exact change and the employee was told to never accept payment unless recorded? They still don't take coupons from the monthly Subway book that is mailed to me, less than a mile from their restaurant. They also don't answer the phone or have voicemail. Otherwise, the food is generally fresh and prepared well and most of the help have a good attitude. read more
