This is the ONLY subway that has ever followed instruction. I asked for extra crispy well done extra sauce, and I'm shocked that a subway actually gave what the customer requested! I've had so many issues with other subways near foothill and other locations with not following instructions on mobile orders... THIS is good business! I will be coming back because now I know what subway gives the slogan "make it your way" lol . Good job management/team staff.

This subway location is fairly consistent across the board, ingredients are fine, bread tastes good, service differs by employee but overall great! One thing I noticed is that the portion scooped onto our sandwich are fairly less in quantity, so ask for a little extra because asking is better than regretting! Overall, a great location since it opened, and continues to a great place for local comfort food!

What is this? I can't even see chicken and there was no bacon LITERALLY.

DON'T EVEN TRY TO GO HERE. I ordered a footlong chicken & bacon ranch. What they gave me was very tiny portion of chicken and veggies. They don't even put bacon in it. So, I went to the store to tell them. This manager guy don't even care, digging the sandwich through and told me there's chicken in there. Are you serious?? So I asked where's bacon and he looked at the sandwich as if he was annoyed without saying sorry. The order was completely wrong, the portion was horrible, and the customer service was a nightmare. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. If you want subway in La Crescenta, go to 2035 N Verdugo Blvd. Montrose one.

The coupon works and an incompetent worker told me it does not...

The pizza is always top notch--consistently delicious with great flavor every single time. It's the kind of place you can count on, and that consistency really matters. If you're in the area and craving a really good slice, this place is a must.

I went to order online and realized there is the common convenience fee tacked on. I decided to order the old fashioned way, go there in person. Then I can browse the store while I wait. It has the usual stuff you'd expect to find in mini markets. But there are hidden gems in the dusty corners like a vintage bottle of Trader Vic's Mai Tai cocktail mix. I didn't check the price but I'm wishing it still had the price tag from 1975 on it. Made me think of the Werewolf of London drinking a Pina Colada and his hair was perfect. Another good find was a dusty bottle of Crème de Menthe. It made me want to look up the recipe for a Grasshopper. I don't know if these old mixer's are for sale or just museum pieces. The sandwiches look pretty good, I'll have to try one another time. Overall the veggie pizza was pretty good, but a bit heavy on the veggies. I generally like fewer toppings, but everyone is different. I suppose in the future I could ask to go light on the toppings. But I'd rather they be generous rather than skimpy.

Just found this place through Instagram ads and decided to give it a try. Just for information,…read moretheir working hours are 9 AM-9 PM, 7 days a week. I mentioned this because we missed it on one of our attempts. Finally, on Sunday evening, my husband and I had a chance to visit Butcher and Booze. Very interesting store, with a delicious smell. There is a huge section of drinks where you can find very unique wines and alcoholic beverages. They also have a section of Japanese drinks, and in another corner, different kinds of unique seasonings, BBQ charcoal, and other BBQ supplies. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Next to the drinks section, there are several tables available indoors and two tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining to enjoy your meals. Their food menu is very interesting, and we tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches (which they prepare completely in-house from A to Z). The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try. I noticed a huge samovar (large kettle) and another kettle in the corner of the open kitchen, and I asked about them. Argisht, who noticed my interest and who I believe is behind the kitchen and the delicious food success there, started a very warm and helpful conversation with us and surprised us by serving cups of tea. The tea tasted super soft and delicious. If you have ever tried Middle Eastern tea, you will love this tea. Luckily, they are selling it in the store, if I am not wrong it was Sri Lanka tea, which I have never seen in any store around Glendale or Burbank. Thank you for the great food, awesome store, and very positive and friendly service. With just one visit, Butcher and Booze will become one of your usual spots, so don't miss it!

We came here on Christmas Eve hoping to try their sandwiches but to also buy some meat as a white elephant gift. First off we were greeted warmly by the staff - not just the cashier but every staff member working behind the counter. On top of that, they gave us a shot of cognac for my husband and I to try. We decided to try buy some wagyu burger patties for the white elephant (we ended up winning these back during our white elephant - they were excellent!). The patties were juicy, rich, and so tasty! Can't wait to try other cuts! When we checked out, they offered us two small complimentary bottles of champagne and some produce from their refrigerated area. this was so kind of them to do so. This place is like your one stop shop - hot food, butcher, alcoholic drinks, liquor, and other cooking goods like seasonings, caviar, butter etc. Unfortunately they were not serving sandwhiches that day so we didn't get to try but we will definitely be coming back to try! Thanks so much to the staff and Butcher and Booze for treating us like fam.

WHEN: Sun Dec 14th @11am…read more We have just arrived to SoCal by car, and before checking into our Airbnb, we figure we swing by this spot located in a ghost kitchen to pick up some lunch. After placing an order on their website, you would park in the back lot where it's free parking, and enter a tempt room of lockers. I wish they included this in the text where you are to CALL THEM to let them know you've arrived so they can bring your order out to you. It's not like the other establishment in this shared kitchen where they just leave it in one of the order cubbies to pick up. So here I am like an idiot just standing and waiting in the empty room for my order. I didn't know until I checked my email and it said to call them in my receipt. Oh well. Anyway, here's what I ordered: BASTURMA BRISKET - $29 Hand Carved Basturma Brisket, Pickled Persian Cucumber, Chaman Spread, and Swiss Cheese. Served in freshly baked pita bread. I know, what kind of sandwich costs nearly $30!? But let me tell you, you are getting both quality and quantity in this bad boy. This reads 2 people, and those 2 will enjoy this thoroughly. Yes, it's a bit on the saltier side, but that's why you have the cucumber to balance it out a bit and the warm and soft pita bread. The brisket was tender and I loved the spread (which you can buy!). It's such a unique take on the common pastrami sandwich. So remember: 1. Order online (no phone calls) 2. Park in the back 3. CALL THEM, letting you know you have arrived. 4. Enter through the big doors (its unlocked) 5. Wait for them to come out to retrieve order. 6. Enjoy!

The only downside is the price, it's pretty pricey considering it's not a restaurant and you're just picking up a sandwich. But it's the beginning of their business so they need the funding so I didn't mind paying for it.

Okay so I also got something else called suchi or chuchi sandwich with chimichurri sauce and clearly we didn't get a picture. They have an amazing menu stop by and check it out urself.

The employee asked if I wanted everything on it and I said yes. I was going to ask for veggies so I'm glad that the every topping question was asked. The sandwich was pretty filling. The bread was a little crunchy. The veggies spilled out of the first half of the sandwich I ate, which was understandable since it was pretty full. I like that the sandwich had a kick to it, it's because of the jalapeño and maybe the capocollo. My total was $18.71 which I thought was fair. It's cozy inside. Lighting was bright, artificial lights were on. I ordered at 1:09 pm. The sandwich was done at 1:17 pm. They were working on multiple orders. A few customers were inside. There were three tables inside. Newspaper clippings were placed on the walls along with certificates and decorations. Bars were on windows. Shades or curtains were placed on other windows. Cannoli were no longer in the fridges. I went here years ago so I noticed the small changes. Smells of food wafted through the deli. Menus were placed at the top of the wall. It's great that they take Apple Pay. I had to move my phone around to make sure the system processed my card but it worked. I think they updated their POS system. Both the employee and Mary told me have a good day and I thanked them both.
