Staff are super friendly & PRICES ARE REASONABLE, with so many items under $10!! You don't find too many places with these prices anymore! Omelets come with hashbrown& a voice of toast or biscuit + gravy. The 3-egg omelet with 3 filings costs $9.59! The "Pitt stop" comes with bacon, eggs, hash brown, & 2 medium-sized pancakes for $8.99. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the hash browns could be crispier. The omelets were generously stuffed with your choice of 3 fillings plus melted cheese & salsa on the side. We will definitely go back!

The racing memorabilia is pretty cool; but really it's all about the diner vibe and those daily specials. We had been to a specialty animal clinic to drop off our sweet kitty for dental surgery and were in need of solace and breakfast. We were also in west Arlington, not our usual stomping grounds. There were maybe some sexier sleeker breakfast choices listed in Yelp; but The Pitt Stop in Kennedale, down the road, spoke to us. I had been to the races there years ago; but the neighborhoods had changed! Not the Pitt Stop though, I'm guessing. The building looks to be from the 40's, so hard to say. We were greeted and seated and handed a menu right away. I ordered a traditional breakfast with buttermilk pancakes and sausage patties. I also asked for a side of spicy homemade salsa for my crispy hashbrowns and over easy eggs. It's called The Pitt Stop and it's $7.99. My husband was excited about the Build your Own breakfast tacos. He chose chorizo, egg, cheese and jalapeño in flour tortillas served with salsa on the side. $1.99 each. We chatted, drinking our coffee, checking out the racing memorabilia and the other diners who were doing the same thing! Some were there early, waiting for the daily lunch special - the goulash! Our breakfast came out steaming hot and everything was delicious. My pancakes were giant, fluffy and tender. The eggs were perfect and that homemade salsa - yes, please! My husband's tacos all but disappeared! Everything was clean, all surfaces and areas where food was served. There was a refrigerator ready with the day's pie. Everyone was lovely and helpful. On another note, I fractured my trochanter last year and had a hip replacement. It's taken me a year to recover and made me acutely aware of how some restaurant bathrooms just aren't up to snuff for ADA standards. I thinks it's fair to say that the bathrooms here need updating; but I suspect they have an exemption. Occasionally you run across an old restaurant or old building which has not been brought up to ADA standards, or even close. The Pitt Stop restrooms for someone who uses a W/C, walker or even a cane will be problematic getting into, using the toilet and getting out of without assistance. They are basically a small closet. The bars inside would be only of help to someone with strength and the toilet is extremely low. Just FYI. We will be back though another day for lunch and pie when we come back to the clinic soon. The food is fantastic!

No refunds issued even if the person dies…read more I booked this venue for my mother's 80th birthday party for 2/2023, unfortunately we lost my mother unexpectedly on 5/1/2022. I reached out to get a full refund...to now use this money towards her headstone... but all I got was a lack of empathy! They are not understanding at all, my heart is broken, my mom is gone and all they care about is a contract. Contracts can be amended....if you choose to do the right thing...as this was out of our control. They chose to stick to their guns and look the other way. I had already paid $921 towards her party....after several weeks I received a partial refund of $361...I really don't understand why a full refund could not have been issued, as they still have 9 months to rent their venue out. This venue is nice.....but I would think twice about renting this place out....because you will not be refunded if one of your loved ones...are to die or have an accident. No empathy, no understanding, and no heart.

Any time I leave a 3-star review, feel the need to point out that Yelp defines 3 stars as "A-OK.",…read moreand that's exactly what I thought this event space was, A-OK. I was here for a wedding, as a guest. Despite being an odd location, and a bit of a drive, I liked the adventure aspect. As we pulled up, we could not help but to wonder what is inside this rather non-descript building. Inside we found a large seating area, a stage, a bar, and doors to more rooms. One room was additional seating, that lead to a small outdoor area. This is were the ceremony was, and except from the sound of race car motors (I was told there is a racetrack nearby, in fact there are two - Texas Raceway & Kennedale Speedway Park), it was rather pretty. After the ceremony we returned inside, where I had the chance to wander a bit. I should have taken more pictures. The pinball machines, on the walls was interesting. The Airstream trailer being used as a stage was quite clever. There was another large red truck against one wall. Not sure what it was used for, and I forgot to take a closer look. There was also a pool table, maybe two, which many guests took advantage of. The line at the (cash) bar got quite long at times, and it actually deterred me from getting a drink. I only saw one bartender at the bar, so I stuck to the self-serve iced tea. Being a cash bar (i.e. not open), I would have thought it would have been staffed better. When prompted, we lined up for food, and were served. I thought the servers did a good job and gave off a friendly vibe. I'm assuming the food was catered, in-house, by Red's, and so your experience may differ based on the menu. I thought for what it was, chicken and beef tacos, with beans and rice, it was a little sub-par. Not horrible, just not all that great (for being in Texas). Also, the re-fried beans seem to have been a little scorched, leaving a slightly funky flavor. Apparently, in the past, Red's used to be a full time restaurant and bar. I think they lost their touch, or maybe never had it. I would seriously consider other food options, or perhaps have it catered from outside. It would be worth the extra fee. So, as a funky Texas event space, A-OK. Bottom line: Good choice if you are looking for a road-house feel for your special event.

Maybe Kroger is so dominant that it over shadows the other business. The order counter is at the front with drinks in a refrigerator and home made tea adjacent. We sat ourselves at a table and started a conversation with a couple that frequently dines here. The man stated the French fries are the best in the area. They are double fried with Lawry's seasoning. They were eating their favorite, a Philly cheesesteak and. Chicken sandwich. We ordered mushroom Swiss burger and Big Tex. French fries and sweet potato fries. When I tasted the fries, I confirmed the man's acclimation that the fries are the best around. Our burgers were equally good, very moist and cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable. This is now one of our go-to burger restaurants.
