Either they didn't listen to what I said, which the rest of my order was perfect, so maybe because I ask a couple times, it made them mad & they gave me Spicy, & only Spicy, when I ask for Regular on purpose? IDK, it just sucks that everytime I order from a drive thru, I have to check my bad, as something is always wrong w/my order. Yes, workers come and go and that's normal fir most all fast food places. I've always gotten properly prepared food and good service here. I've never had any major problems with any of my orders. Sometimes at the last minute, I've gone thru the drive thru to order chicken livers or fish. Both take 15-20 mins to prepare/cook, so I do have to pay then pull up and wake till they bring out my order. IF you don't want to wait, then call in your order ahead. Usually by the time you drive there to pick up your order, it's bagged up, ready to go. CE Kennedale, keep up the good work as it's great to have this business in our small city. read more

I had delivery from here a few times and I really enjoyed it. The two piece chicken meal is great but it's the chicken tenders I enjoy the most. The corn nuggets are absolutely delicious here, they're usually crispy and sweet. The jalapeño popper are also quite good too and rival almost every place I've tried them. The corn in the cob sucks though, there's barely any taste to it unless you have salt and butter ready at home. My wife also thinks the mashed potatoes and gravy are too plain but I'm ok with them. Lastly I enjoy the biscuit better than the rolls, I just wished they sent honey packets with your delivery. read more

OMG new owner or manager or something has happened here, stopped in out of desperation for something quick and discovered the best CE in the metro area! fast, friendly and good! I also discovered the chocolate chip cookies! get a dozen! Hope it stays this way because it was the worst ever anywhere before. I would give 5 stars but really come on its a chicken joint 4 is like a five for those. read more

Friendly people and great service. My food was fresh and hot. During a busy shift they did make a small mistake on my order but they fixed it vary quickly and with a smile so I was happy. I'll be back often. read more

Just stopped here for dinner, and it did not disappoint! Friendly service, and it was nice to see the workers having fun while working. The tenders were delicious and fresh, along with some nice hot fries and a flaky biscuit. Whatever marinade they use on the chicken is on point! I will be back! read more

We came in tonight for dinner but the store smells really bad the trash cans are overflowing, there is food all over the floor and the bathrooms don't look like they have been cleaned since this new store was built. The staff is nice enough but if they can't keep the waiting area clean how clean is the cooking area. I was hoping that when they built the new store things would get better but it seems it has not. read more

Regrettably stopped here for dinner around 7:30 Thursday night. We ordered a 3 piece and 2 piece white meal. Chicken was so dry you could hardly chew and swallow it. Then while we were sitting there one of the workers starts to clean the floor with some highly toxic smelling cleaner. This totally ruined what was left of our appetites. I love Chicken Express but this is the worst one I have visited. Somehow the chicken is greasier and their sweet tea taste like the tea maker hasn't been washed in weeks. Its "dirty, sour" tea. There's other Chicken Express around, go there. read more

Horrible service! Never come to this Chicken Express! I ordered from the drive thru and they said they would have my total for me at the window. I get to the window and my order wasn't in the system. The guy working there goes to tell another worker and she throws a fit and gives me a death glare. I'm, of course, watching from the window. She storms to the window and is super rude to me as if I was the one that made the mistake! read more

I like to support local business in a growing community, but Chicken Express in Kennedale is a real disappointment! During Lent I went there for fish on Friday, a catholic custom. They had no fish ready during the dinner hour and I waited 15 minutes. So today, I called ahead 15 minutes, drove down there and was told it would be another 8 minutes. they are building a new building, but unless they get a manager and better staff they'll never get a rating above 2 and a half stars. the staff is rude, abrupt, and I've never seen anyone smile. sometimes they don't respond when you talk to the speaker and the phone rang 20 times before they answered! When I goth there 15 minutes later, they only had 3 customers, no one in drivethru. This owner needs to do an undercover boss!! read more
