Staff is very friendly, and food is great quality. However, restroom is now closed (same as my last stop a couple weeks ago), with no indication if/when it will ever open. Reason given to us is they are out of toilet paper, which doesn't make sense with a supermarket next door. Far more likely that the management just doesn't want customers to use the restroom anymore. Thus, I don't want to patronize this store anymore. Additionally, they could not process my Subway gift card. Goodbye to this Subway! read more

Im so sick of this place canceling my order just because there is 3 poeple in line, just for me to get there and no one is in line. The lady in there is extremely rude and unprofessional. Jimmy the owner needs to take action. This has happened more times then not. read more

Stop by on the way. Most interesting subway I have visited thus far. They only serve what is "made" in each sandwich. You're only allowed up to "two " extra items if it isn't predetermined to be in your sandwich. I've never encountered that. Service was quick, prices were expensive for little town of Arnold. Ambiance, small, clean, served relatively fast. Funny, I asked if I can have a cup of ice, and dude asked me if I wanted to buy a cup? Uh. No I don't... Subway's prices increase significantly compared to other sandwich places that are much more desirable... so if I had a choice. Nah. read more

I usually get globs of condiments when I go to subway, even when I ask for light and this amazing lady this morning did fantastic with making my sandwich. I appreciate her. Overall, definitely coming back :) read more

It's subway...mostly what you'd get at any other but I haven't had bread at this location that I felt was day old like several here in the bay area that are now closed. It's rarely busy and you can get in and out fast for a quick bite up highway 4 through Arnold. read more

A can't comment on how the food is at this location, because after 14 minutes of standing in line while 2 employees moved at a speed generally reserved for DMV employees, the woman behind me in line went next door to the grocery store deli counter and got sandwiches. On the upside, I know all about the personal lives of the 'sandwich artists' and the party in front of me. read more

Whichever girl was working by herself at 6:15pm on 12/28/24 was incredibly and disgustingly rude for us even coming in at all. She slammed things shut, slammed the bread around, and incredibly rudely asked "What sandwich do you want." We asked if they were closing soon and she, again incredibly rudely said with a sigh and without even looking at us said, "Well I'm trying to." To our surprise the closing time wasn't for another 45 minutes. I highly recommend the owner and or manager of the establishment look into this as I've never had such a rude experience from a customer service employee in my life and I would hope they would take the time to ensure their business wasn't interfered because of people like her. read more

Stopped at this subway today to get my friends wife some food because she was not able to get breakfast. She ordered a cold cut combo on flat bread. We put two tables together to join her while she ate. The business was not busy but in the middle of her meal an employee took it upon themselves to inform us to move the table back where we found them when we leave. We were also very concerned because she had major signs of food poisoning later that evening. If you ate at this subway on 7/3/23 you might want to contact the manager as we will do tomorrow. read more

Amazing customer service from both the manager and MacKenzie (? unsure how to spell the name). They served our entire Boy Scout Troop with amazing food and I am very grateful we have a reliable place to eat whenever we stop nearby Arnold in the future. read more

I would say the sandwiches are exactly the same as any other subway franchises out there but this particular branch, the big guy who works there, is VERY CONDESCENDING!!! 2 days in a row we go there and he has a special way of making you feel inadequate, leaving this place with a very bad taste in your mouth. Whomever the owner of this branch, please rethink your staffing and provide proper training how to engage with well paying customers. read more

The crew were not wearing masks (while all the customers had our masks on) and the girl who was making the sandwich today was totally rude. She could have nicely reminded the customers that they only allow 3 people at a time inside the store but she loudly said that "Have you not read the sign outside?" She surely have spread her "droplets" of saliva to the food and us who were inside because of her rude loud voice. Please be courteous next time and wear a mask. read more

The food has always been up to par but their business hours are horrible! 9-5? Most people are hard at work during those hours and a lot of people commute therefore gone before they are open and home after they close. And with very little options in Arnold for quick food, it makes no sense. Open later in the morning and stay open longer in the evenings. read more

It's a Subway!!! Same food you get from most Subways and you get to watch the sandwich being made. Clean facility, nice gals working the counter. Hard to beat prices and you know what your getting read more

"closes at eight" by which they mean they lock the doors and turn the lights off at 7:55. I get not wanting to let in last minute customers but it takes like two minutes to make a sandwich. bad business. read more

I must say, sandwiches are not my favorite types of food. Because it comes with bread - I'm not into carbs but not for diet purposes, I just don't like how it fills me up. Anyway, I've been avoiding Subway because the last one I went to said they don't carry the Seafood Salad anymore. WTF? No seafood salad means I don't get anything at Subway. My DH pointed out that they do have Seafood at this location. I was ecstatic. I hadn't had a seafood salad from Subway for years. There were four people working the counter. Older folks, kind of a refresher from 16 yr olds that usually man Subway. They were slow as molasses though. Oh well, I got my salad, I was happy. read more

Better then most subways they still tend to press the bread down to any Italian that's an insult should light hold it and then slice. But I get it it's subway. Lol. Still descent not alot of lines here in arnold too. read more

I hope the manager can see this review. A very nice young man with gauged ears helped us today. He was very friendly, professional, and quick. I've never seen a young person take their job so seriously, and be so skilled and efficient. He handled about ten customers, single handedly, while we sat and ate our lunch (a quick 10 min). He deserves a raise! read more

We ordered 20 sandwiches but I gave them the wrong date! The staff at the store did a fantastic job of getting our lunch boxes ready in a hurry. Everything was perfect. read more

This is the best subway we have ever found! We used them to cater my son's rehearsal luncheon before his wedding. The trays of sandwiches were not only amazing but beautiful. They also supplied us with trays of fresh vegetables to put on the sandwiches and condiments for the side. All this was done with a smile and we couldn't be happier with this service! read more

My band and I today stopped by to grab a couple of sandwiches today. We played the Cedar Center. I've been to a lot of Subway stores through the years, and this is the best one I've ever been too. The two gals had a great since of humor, and my sandwich was a work of art! If I could only remember their names!! Give them a raise!! Who ever the gals working at Subway around 4:30 PM in Arnold today 7/8/17 were fantastic!! read more

Pretty disappointed lately with the staff at our local subway. I don't know the self absorbed twits name but I have never felt so unwelcome before. I walked in and she sighed that she had to get off her ass to do her job, rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted. After the sour-puss look left her face, I repeatedly had to remind her what veggies I wanted on my sandwich. Mind you this isn't the first time I've had this experience with this girl. The first time, about a month ago, she had to ask me "is this what you want" as she held up a chicken patty. I noticed she was new, so I figured it might have been her first day. I don't know the other girl (I think she used to work at big trees) but she is always friendly and welcoming. After I had my sandwich, which seemed like an excruciating process for the twit, she sarcastically told me to have a nice day. When I got home my sandwich was not wrapped and all of the contents were in the bag so I had to re-make it. I get it, this is just a sandwich shop... but If I wanted a half-assed sandwich I would've stayed home and made one myself but I decided to support a business and spend my money on something that was clearly not worth it. The owner is friendly when he is onsite, but I am puzzled as to why he would hire someone who doesn't have basic customer service skills. If you cannot grin and bare it, then you should NOT be working in the service industry. I will not be returning to this shop. read more

Sub was really nice, fresh veggies and bread. I really appreciate their service. My wife wanted a flatizza which they don't make or sell here, though they specially made it for us and it was better than any flatizza we ever had before! Good luck.. Keep it up! read more

The staff was SO RUDE. I walk in, in a new dress I just bought and one of the staff members sitting and eating told me I had to change! Made my sister walk out because she wasn't "wearing the appropriate clothing". I didn't see a sign saying I couldn't wear a dress? So rude. Cannot even believe that happened! Food was fine, I guess. read more

This is one of the better Subway franchise locations, because the store has friendly employees, is always clean, well-run, and makes fresh sandwiches with decent amount of meat and toppings for the price. I am very happy that I can count on a consistently tasty sandwich at a value price. The store hours are very good too, as I can always get a late sandwich when needed. The staff is fast and efficient and work hard during some busy times. read more

Attempted theft !!!!!! We have a Subway card that had a $30 credit. The hefty girl working told us we only had $3 on the card. We walked out of the store and re-checked the balance at home, it has $30. My next couple hours will be writing e-mails to corporate and several levels of upper management. I am even going to file a report with the sheriff. read more
