Double Double with Fries & a drink $23... Pricey but delicious!

On our way to Calaveras Big trees and stopped here for a bite to eat. Ordered a double double burger with fries and a drink, it was $23. A little pricey, but it was delicious. They have inside and outside seating

Service was okay, food was very bland. It lacked flavor. The common area needed some cleaning. It's unfortunate because the little town of Arnold doesn't have many food options. Small parking lot available.

Good burger. They've been around for YEARS. My baby burger was good. Hubby's was a bit dry. GREAT onion rings. A bit pricey but after snow activities, great place to grab a bite to eat. Quality of food: A Quality of service: A Price: $+ - $$ (I wouldn't consider "cheap" since fries are paid separately. No Wi-Fi or cell tower nearby

What a great little burger shack! we tried the western burger, pretzel burger, kids corn dog, fries, garlic cheese curds, and chocolate, blackberry malt. Everything was delicious, but our favorites were definitely the western burger and the cheese curds! The blackberry, chocolate malt was yummy, as well. They have a big menu with lots to choose from. There are many different food options and shake flavors. We especially enjoyed our conversations with Dave! He was very friendly and personable, and had excellent recommendations!

My sad looking burger- I eat keto, so No bread wanted. No grilled onions as requested and one slice of bacon. No thank you!

The service was okay, but the quality of food was just okay. Especially for the prices! I paid $10 for a giant burger with bacon only one slice... The burger wasn't cooked all the way, they forget to grilled the onions. Which I saw on the receipt. But the wait was ridiculous long. It wasn't packed out at all. Most of the tables were empty. A lot of people behind the counter, a lot of talking among themselves. The patty size is one of a quarter pound burger(Costco patty) and I had it lettuce wrap. I won't return back.

A beautiful day for Giant Burger out in the Sierra sunshine!

Stomped in at this Arnold landmark for a dose of nostalgia, as Giant Burger has been part of our family vacations since the 70s. We were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating employee who was quick to help us grab a selfie in front of their classic sign and carved bear. We were immediately helped with our order that included their massive mushroom, Swiss burger, and a surprisingly delicious chicken Caesar sandwich. Both were served quickly and hot and fresh! Required tons of napkins, but completely worth the effort; beefy, savory, and perfectly cooked! We also sampled their delicious cheese curds that would be awesome after a day of skiing! If that wasn't enough, they spotted my wife's Journey shirt and queued up their greatest hits for us! Super experience and we highly recommend!

New owners are bringing the standard back up here! We live locally and were nervous to try to get lunch on a busy summer Saturday in July at 2pm. Parking lot full and only three tables available. Sign at the ordering counter says current wait is 35 mins. We ordered two western burgers, garlic cheese curds, onion rings, chx strips + fries and a pineapple shake. My shake was ready in less than 5 mins and we had all of our food in 28 mins. Cheese curds were the star of the meal and my shake was delicious with actual pineapple chunks in it. Burger was dry and overcooked with burnt bun but that has happened before on busy weekends. We usually prefer to just order the sides (onion rings and fries) and shakes. Everything was clean and staff was friendly.

We visited on a Sunday around 2:45pm visually the place didn't look very busy. We placed our order of two burgers a side of onion rings and a small shake. Our order took 53 minutes to prepare and our shake was forgotten. The staff was extremely friendly to us and the food was delicious upon arrival. I would definitely go back with the understanding that we may be waiting a hour for our food. The music was a little loud making it impossible to hear them call out numbers. We overheard several complaints on wait times and they were handled just okay in my opinion.

Sharing a milkshake with friends after going to big trees... this is where to do it. We went to the water but it was ice cold which was okay because I screwed up my foot so I could ice it in tje cold water. Went here with my fellow yelp elite Faith E. We were able to talk and catch up over a burger, a milkshake, fries, and a grilled cheese. Giant burger has served its purpose. It is weirdly kind of expensive

I have been visiting Arnold for 5+ years and finally stopped by this place after hearing good things. Yummy and wow!! Not sure what else to say except the burger was no frills but so incredibly delicious and juicy. The fries were a the perfect side. They had other items on the menu, including hot dogs and fish sandwiches, that I did not try. I will be back!

They have a variety of dogs... all beef, Italian sausage, spicy hot link, elk, bison, boar, and beyond brat (vegan). Look for the food truck in the parking lot with a Shell gas station on Highway 50. The dogs are served up plain or you can get them specialized as in a Chicago dog, Sonoran dog, chili cheese, etc. The dogs range $7.50-$15. Plus they got fries$5-13. Those too are served plain or specialized. My faves are the chili fries, Chicago dog, and New York style dog. The chili is no beans and the fries are double fried giving them an extra crispy layer of crust. I do have to tell them light on the onions and mustard because they give you a full bang for your buck and load it up. But Hubs likes it that way. I like to wash it all down with their homemade lemonade. It's the real deal, made with lemons, sugar, and water. The $6 lemonade is served up in a whomping 32 ounce container. Get this, they serve breakfast as well. You can get an egg, cheese, hash brown on an 8 inch Italian roll or bowl. $9.50. Add bacon, sausage or steak $2.50-$4.50 extra.

John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs!
