I and my family have been here many times. The food is excellent. The buns they source are light and just the right size for their large burgers. The fries are battered and excellent. Cheese curds are an indulgent side. The soft serve ice cream is second to none. The staff is extremely friendly and delight in ensuring you enjoy the experience. At peak times, you can expect a long wait, unfortunately. They are a small establishment and often too short staffed to handle the huge rush during peak ski season weekends and summer weekends. Quick, friendly service and a cozy-diner ambience with indoor and outdoor seating, and a respectable array of menu options including periodic specials. This place was amazing! After a full day at the lake we had hungry and grouchy kiddos and were on our way back to our airbnb to bbq. We passed Giant Burgers and decided to stop. It was 6:59 and this place closed at 7. I was headed back to the car when Dave insisted the grill was still open and to come on up for dinner. (Even after I said it was 5 of us!) :) Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. The food was so delicious. It was the best we had in Arnold. There was lots of laughter and full bellies. Tried this place out since some locals recommended it and have passed by curious to check it out. Order at the counter and they have several items on their menu such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, shakes, soft serve and some specials. Didn't have to wait long for our food and everything tasted good. The fries had the perfect crispness on the outside and soft inside. I really liked my grilled chicken sandwich and everyone liked their burgers. The chicken can either be grilled or crispy which was a nice option. They also had kid's meals. Service was friendly and they even asked us how our meal was. Gave us the extra portion of shake which was really nice. Everyone was really working hard to get the food out. It was nice that they also asked how we wanted the kids burgers. Definitely a reliable place in town to get good food that comes out quickly. read more

Came here with great expectation to be completely let down. I understand Saturdays may be busy but there could be a way to add more staff to your schedules if there is a lack of help. It seems that this town displays nothing but bad attitudes from the gas stations to the restaurants including this one is just absolutely astonishing. I waited approximately 25 minutes for orders of fries, listen... I get your food is fresh but I think the length of time it takes for potato's be picked from the ground, washed, cut and put in a fryer to be done faster than my wait time for two orders of fries. And by the way, the server with the red hat and greasy hair is super rude, please consider the customers you are serving. Hope things change so customers traveling from far aren't as disappointed as I am. read more

I came with another family of four, and despite their sign claiming they don't serve "fast food," no one warned us we'd be starving by the time our food arrived. In my personal experience I had a blast dining at Giant Burger. I didn't have good signal on my phone and while we were driving on Highway 4 we saw this spot and we were really hungry after playing in the snow. I highly recommend this restaurant, their menu it's super short and that's amazing, their burgers are HUMONGOUS and delicious, their fries are super crispy and they provide a fast service. Burgers were mediocre. No flavor except for the off the shelf mustard. Their online order system was taking orders, but they switched order systems and didn't get our order until we arrived. After they figured out our order from the previous online system, our order was not brought forward in the que. We waited an hour after we got our order settled with the staff, and total wait time from placing our order was an hour and a half. They started on our order 45 minutes after we sorted it out with the staff. If this is the only burger joint in this town, I can see why it is still around. I see that we're not the only low-star review. I was chalking the poor service up to their claim of recent management change and ordering system change, but it looks like that problem and the wait time for in person orders has been around for over 10 months from this review. I have been here twice. Their burgers are good. Their fries are really good and their milkshakes are really really good! I definitely get full and not want to eat basically the rest of the day after eating their burgers. The first time I came here the customer service was not the greatest. The gentleman that took my order needed to be taught customer service (not very friendly). He looked miserable and looked like he hated his life. A few weeks later, we decided to come back and we did not see him. In fact, they had a "Now Hiring" sign up so I'm hoping they decided to replace him. So 9 years later we stopped at Giant Burger after reading positive Yelp reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the change. Same 3 people as last time. Sat on the patio. We ordered Jalapeño Popper Burger, grilled Chicken Sandwich and a Double burger with cheese no onions. And our order was correct!! And the food tasted great. Pretty good burger. Portion of onion rings was small for the price. I also saw other reviews of onion rings that were burnt to a crisp. So, generally, I say don't order the onion rings. Service was okay. I tried to make a phone order in advance but no answer. I understand the area is generally short staffed right now and so I won't complain. While the burgers are pretty alright, please heed the warnings of the Yelp reviews that this venue may randomly be closed. Attempted to visit at 12PM on a weekend and the venue was inexplicably closed, with no notice on Yelp / Google; however, they did post a paper to the door saying someone was having a wedding. We watched numerous people approach and leave the venue after discovering it was closed. :( If you make it out and find the venue closed, your alternative food options are severely limited. Yelp recommended Giant burger for kids... I do not. The staff was kind and hard working and I got a REALLY HUGE double cheese burger with bacon for just $13 and it was great. For my son they sold him a "baby" burger for $12 which looks like the size of something off the dollar menu at Mc D's for literally a dollar less than my amazing burger. Lastly I asked for Cold Slices of Cheese. My daughter doesn't eat meat and usually not bread either. I was charged $9 for a "grilled cheese". It was 3 slices of cheese... seriously. Honestly the food is amazing. I got the giant burger with bacon and the sauce in the burger was amazing. The meat was juicy and it tasted very fresh. There was outside seating for me and my dog.
