This seems to be a small fast food chain in the Angel's Camp area. We saw it passing through on the way to our condo and decided to give it a try, better choice than McDonalds. I tried their pastrami which came on toasted French roll, it was tender very lean and full of flavor. Next time I'm in the area I'll have to try their large hamburger selection. I'll be back. Thumbs up! read more

The place looks like it would be good. The Hamburger looks good. But it's kind of tasteless. The meat is just tasteless. They do put red onion on it, which I like, but even so it's just not a good hamburger. And although the menu board does not say it, they charge .99 for cheese. That's allright if they say so, but they just ask you what kind of cheese you want, implying it's included. The fries are crinkle cut. Seriously? But worse the place is not maintained. Broken garbage bans, broken urinal in men's room. The bathroom was dirty. Quite a few flies in the dining room. I can see why there were only 4 people in there at 12:30 PM. The place is one to avoid. read more

I don't eat fast food very often but I was passing through and was hungry, so I stopped here. What a pleasant surprise that was! The place is clean, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was definitely a step above what I think of as fast food. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and made it a meal (fries and med. drink) for an additional $2, definitely a bargain. When I took the burger out, it was neatly wrapped in an outer paper but inside of that, it was wrapped in another paper, only halfway up so you could eat it and not have the juices dripping in you. The patty looked freshly made, not like a typical frozen or boxed patty and the burger was delicious! You could taste each component or the burger, I think because everything was fresh. I forgot it had bacon in it until I tasted it. It was more like a burger you would get in a better lunch restaurant for twice the price. read more

It's 8/15/26 and 9:30pm. To the girl who was working the drive through with dark hair and purple underneath. You can work on your customer service skills. I've been coming here for 4 years and no matter who's working the drive through they are always rude. Clearly management doesn't care cause it's been like this for 4 years. read more

Place is trash. Way overpriced. Surprisingly clean except the chairs. Overwhelming variety of food which I consider a bad thing. Should have just stuck to burgers and ice cream. My man got boneless wings which weren't even wings and I got the chicken dinner which were dry as hell and overcooked to a nearly black crisp. No a/c and no ice from the soda machine, no wonder everyone looks unhappy here. The only thing decent was the strawberry sunday, but the cherry on top was horrible. Wish there was a chick fil a around here. read more

I have been coming to this Frosty's for years with my boys when we were going boating or to Old Oak Ranch. The burgers were always great and the shakes were amazing! The food is still good and the staff is helpful! So why only three stars? Let's begin with it is summer and it is hot and there is no air conditioning! While you're eating your sweating a different version of weight loss while you eat! The second reason why only three stars is the place was not clean and there was no ice for the soft drinks! The food is still pretty good but the ambiance is difficult! Great place to stop and take your food with you but I do not recommend you stay and eat! read more

Frosty - Counter to order - Burgers Near Me - Angels Camp, California

This place is a local fast food burger joint! Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes not! But do love supporting our local restaurants!

The Frosty in Angels Camp is soooo good. We have had multiple of their dishes over time. Excellent Pastrami, burgers, chicken strips, corn dogs. The fries are delicious and they have the BEST milkshakes and even provide the large straws for easy drinking. They are very reasonably priced. We have only gone through the drive through as we are passing through but the window servers were great and friendly. We stop by occasionally just for the milk shakes. If you are in the area I would recommend stopping in and giving it a try. read more

Food was decent but way overpriced. Ordered 2 single hamburgers, one order of fries and 2 small milkshakes. Order came to $40.00. For that price we can get homemade mexican food down the street, and get served. Food itself was just run-of-the-mill typical at this frosty. read more

For a fast food type restaurant, I thought this place was pretty good. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich Combo which goes for $10.79. It came with french fries and a soft drink. The sandwich was good and the portions were generous. I also tried out the soft serve and thought their chocolate cone was also quite good. In my opinion this place is far superior to all the other typical fast food chain establishments you see all over the place. read more

This is the type of place where the phrase 'don't judge a book by its over' really applies. From the outside it looks really old school, and based off looks alone, I had really low expectations, but ended up leaving very surprised. After a 7 mile walk, a burger sounded so good. We decided to go with the Angels Burger which came with a two patties, bacon, onion rings, and veggies. We go the combo with fries and drink which was like $12. After pulling it out of the bag, this thing had some weight to it, pretty darn heavy. From the looks of it, it reminded me of something like a backyard bbq burger, and I really enjoyed it. This is a nap time burger, because if you eat a whole one, you'll need a nap after. The freshly grilled burger, crunch bacon, it was very well executed. The fries were not my favorite though. Maybe they needed more salt, but I just didn't care for them. If you are looking for a tasty burger, yet affordable burger, this definitely checks those boxes. No frills, just how I like it. Looking at the menu, your money can go really far for a big meal. I mean where else can you get a 5-patty burger for under $15? Nowhere lol read more

Coming back from Nevada we decided to stop here for a quick dinner. I thought the service was good. The people at work here are very nice, well I've only been here once so I can't really give a full review, but my one experience I enjoyed it enough. I had the burger with the Ortega chili, which was really good, the fries were really good and fresh. read more

Frosty - Burger with Ortega chili and french fries. - Burgers Near Me - Angels Camp, California

There's a Frosty in Angels Camp, CA. I stopped on in for the first time last month. The menu is pretty large with lots of burger, sandwich, hot dogs, appetizer, and soft serve options including a kids menu. Price points were cheaper than most fast food joints. For hard core carnivores, they even have a burger called Big Valley which has five stacked patties $10.99. I didn't order that but sure wanted to see someone tackle one though. I did however order a pastrami sandwich combo $13.99 to share with Hubs. The food came out quick and hot. The pastrami was thinly shaved and piled high. The combo came with large fries and a medium fountain drink. The fries were crinkle cut and lightly dusted with a seasoning salt. Yum! I enjoyed those. But the pastrami was lacking in flavor and a bit stringy. As I sat there nibbling on the pastrami sandwich and coming to accept the fate that I'm not into it. I noticed a steady flow of folks coming in to order soft serve cones. Beautifully swirled and presented soft serves. Those were in quite a demand on this summer day. The dining area has the look of a typical fast food joint of the late 1980s. Probably since it hasn't been remodeled since then. Nothing wrong with that especially since it was clean and comfortably air conditioned. read more

Best burgers in town. My favorite is the avocado burger. This is our family's favorite burger spot.

What a crappy experience. The girl at the drive through and front counter taking our orders had the worst attitude like she was personally doing us a favor by taking our orders. After 5 minutes of waiting at the counter she finally showed up. We ordered a combo meal and a chocolate shake and she threw another attitude saying ugh it's going to take a long time. I said ok and finished my order. My food came and finally after 10 minutes I go back up to check on my shake and the same girl said you never ordered a shake. And I said yes I did. And she said no check your receipt I never charged you for it. So now I'm like what the heck? I ordered it why didn't you charge me and why don't i have a shake? And she just gave more attitude so I said just forget it. After the way she acted there was no way I was spending any more money there and I never will again. The burger was also smashed, tasteless and not worth it including the cold fries and the flat soda. What a disappointment. Never again read more

The food is great and customer service is just as great. Always treated with courtesy, great burger great price.

AMAZING SERVICE. The food was awesome and AJ was the best dude today giving me and my friend advice on high school. Bro made my day for sure. (Give him a raise!) but other than that it was awesome and I loved the way we were treated and like I said, awesome food. Will come here again read more

drive through is a little slow, but man the food is hot and delicious. I had a double bacon cheeseburger, the crinkle cut fries were hot fresh and plentiful. next trip I tried the Philly cheese steak sandwich, it was as good as the burger, maybe better. I love the way they wrap the burger, simple things. I'm going today, its my new cheat place when I want to indulge. read more

This place is surprising, to say the least. Huge menu of tasty burgers, hot pastrami sandwiches, fried chicken fingers, and pretty much anything else you can imagine--complete with frozen treats. Prices are good. Food was much tastier and more "homemade" than you'd expect from a seemingly fast-food place. All I can say is, don't judge a book by its cover. read more

Had butterscotch milkshake and kit Kat candy mix. It was ok. Milkshake could have had more butterscotch flavour. The candy mix is just vanilla ice cream with kit kat. Decent price Overall it's ok, not bad. read more

It's what you'd expect. Descent food with great ice cream options. Portion sizes are above average.

They have good food and a large selection. I'd go here before a franchise burger joint. They have great customer service too.

Really bad experience here. Someone in our party got a root beer and found at least four flying ants in his cup. They took it and gave him a new one. I am not sure if it was the thought of this, or if the food really was bad, but three others got upset stomachs after lunch. I ate about half of my lunch and thre out the rest. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! read more

Employees were rude. Told them I was ready to order 4x before I finally got their attention. Slammed my shake on the counter and walked away without even acknowledging that I said thank you. Second employee was handling garbage near by and walked away without going to the sink to wash his hands. Chemical Bottle with rags was left outside the bathroom for anyone to grab putting any child at risk for grabbing and putting it into their mouth. Unsafe and unsanitary! read more

I have received the wrong order and cold food multiple times. I've also had several strawberry milkshakes that taste like vanilla. However, the most disappointing is the dipped cones. I have never had a dipped cone where the chocolate shell is soft, super thin, and has ice cream spewing out of holes in it. Their ice cream options are really good, but the dipped cones are awful. I asked for it double dipped to see if it would help, it was a little better as it actually formed a slight shell as seen in the photo. An employee said they use melted chocolate chips & the dip always turns out that way. I'm thinking it's how they make the dip. read more

Not sure why I don't follow my own rules and not visit low Yelp rated locations. People were nice, location is convenient and the remaining is just not good. The food was bad. Had a double cheese burger combo and ordered it with pickles, mustard and Mayo. Burger was delivered with Mayo and Catsup and enough of both to make soup. The bun was super sweet and absorbed as much of the liquid as it could, but still seeped out everywhere. Gross. Fries were the cheapest frozen crinkle cut possible and while there was a large quantity, they were awful and not edible. Lesson reinforced to avoid low rated locations. If you are only going for ice cream, maybe you are ok, but you may want to read before you leap. read more

The pastrami sandwich was the bomb! Absolutely delicious! Great customer service and clean dining area.

Great service and real nice people work here. They made me and my family feel like regulars. The food was excellent for fast food. Side okra was good. Hot and crispy. Came with ranch. Grilled cheese side sandwich was just ok. A-lot of american cheese but it wasn't melted. BLT was just okay. A lot of bacon but mushy shredded lettuce and two mushy old tomatoes. Jr. burger was horrible! Nothing like the picture of a fresh juicy burger. The meat was dry dry dry it was not hot and it was not freshly cooked! It seemed like it was pre-cooked and sitting there drying out. It was supposed to come with a sauce and I was told onions lettuce and tomato but it came plain with pickles no sauce nothing else just a couple of pickles and a dry burger. I threw it up to the crows but they didn't even eat it. read more

Finally got to try this place! The menu was vast... so many choices! Hamburgers, hotdogs, burritos, onion rings.. even my favorite fried okra! And of course, tons of Icecream...shake options. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon,a side of okra and a peach shake. The burger was huge.. the pieces of bacon were huge too but I swear it was turkey bacon. It just didn't taste like regular bacon. I didn't know the burger came with " special sauce".... I could've done without that. Other than that, the burger was good. I had fried okra which I order whenever I see it on a menu. There was no seasoning on it or anything to dip it in but it was a generous helping. Definitely needing seasoning salt or something on it! For my shake.. I was super excited to see that had peach flavor. Not as excited after I received it and it didn't taste like peach at all. It was more like a vanilla shake with a little scoop of maybe peach purée in it? There were little pieces of peach in the shake but not enough to call it a peach shake., All in all... I would definitely go back and try something else. Oh and the girl helping us was super friendly and explained all our choices to us. read more
